Forestpelt purred at the deputy's remark. "Maybe after we sweep Riverclan, we can move this party to the other clans, and avalanche Darkclan."

"What? Oh, no, most of the stuff I carry with me is for aid during battle. I'm not a medicine cat, but I don't see why that should stop me from learning how to mend a scratch or two."
OOC: New thread in the medicine den?
-
The Riverclan tom nodded blissfully. "Gather the Riverclan warriors here? How many refugees are there?"
-
ic: Forestpelt looked at the inviting she-cat. Oh no... oh no... "Leopardclaw, you just fell in mouse... yeah..." Don't laugh...don't laugh...
ooc: Legally, none of us can take direct control of a medicine cat. I think I know a way around that.
ic: Trying not to burst into laughter, Forestpelt turned to Shard. "Let me look at those wounds. I'll describe them to a medicine cat and hopefully treat them, if he'll let me."

Forestpelt leaned closer to the injured cat's leg. "Where does it hurt, and how deep are the gashes?"
-
"Speaking of the pup, where did it go?"
-
The young warrior was still studying the gash. "I can try to find a medicine cat... hopefully no muscles were torn. Can you move it?" Has the spoke, the white tom padded lightly along the loner's leg. Are there broken bones?
-
They were greeted with a white warrior sitting in a rabbit-hole recently enlarged entrance when they got back to Riverclan's side of the water. He looked up from licking his paws, stuck between apathy and curiousity. Waiting for the party to return, Forestpelt looked exceptionally dusty ask he began to let out a casual meow, "Where did you guys run off to? You left me to expand this hole all by myself!"
-
Thw tom grunted as he forced himself to his paws, which tingled from digging. "Only one way to find out. Try this hole, Moss."
-
Forestpelt nodded and dashed out of the den.
-
I am so terrible at hiding a smile... Forestpelt thought as a grin took control of his muzzle. "You comfortable down there?"
-
The humbled tom felt a new wave of relief that Riverclan stood a chance of recapture. As their meeting drew to a close, he slowly turned, looking back at the Windclan commander. He meowed a goodbye, "I will, thank you for your help. Next time we meet, hopefully you'll be strong enough to fight. I pray it be on the same force on the battlefield. May Starclan help you recover."
ooc: Am I the only one that thinks it would be cool for a Special Ops-style stealth team to rescue the leaders? I meant to ask that, but never got around to it. ^_^

ooc: lawdy lawdy Applekit went to Thunderclan to become an apprentice, then came back and reverted into a kit. Something over there is messin' with the space-time-continuum. >.>

Shoot, how could we forget? Forestpelt ran into riverbank, scooping up massive balls of mud and began to spread them around the hole. "This is to give the scent of the river..." He vigorously rubbed his muzzle against the den. "This if to give the scent of cat, and finally..." He pulled some nearby moss and ferns and rubbed them against all of the den. "..,This is to make it stale, so we can overwhelm it with one last touch." The warrior reached under a leaf in his fur on his flank to let a few concealled deathberries fall. The three of them, smashed against the entrance of the den, were then lightly buried to the point where their scent was detectable, but they presented no harm under a layer of dirt. The tomcat turned to Appleshine and purred, "Does this scent for the den suit you? Now just to disguise the pup. You want to do that?"
ooc: Do you want need help in the anticlan battle?
-
ic: The thick-furred tom sneezed from all the dust he kicked up. He beckonned with his paw for Moss to come over.
ooc: If you need back-up, just let me know.
-
Forestpelt grinned. "Well then, now we have to find a way to kill time."
-
The tom's eyes sparked as he looked at Appleshine as an idea raced through his head. "I know what I'm going to do." He turned upriver and began to purr and stride towards the gorge.
-
Forestpelt scowled as he noticed an elephant in the room, "What's in it for you?"
-
Forestpelt grew tired of waiting. He walked up to the sleeping warriors and lay beside them, hoping to cjoin in the dream.
