The day was surprisingly still, not a single tree danced with the cold breeze which was the gift of winter. In fact, it did scare Shiraishi who was observing her surroundings with the corner of her eye; she found other's lives amusing compared to hers. She felt the world revolving faster than her ability to catch up, as if everything went past her vision, but she did not bother to mind. The spotless blonde, she had always been the quiet audience in many's life. Not that she cared unless she was isolated, though, she was satisfied with her life as long as she continued her studies with the books and had a small group of friends to talk. Not necessarily talking, but she liked having at least someone to cling to whenever she felt loneliness chasing her; perhaps her obvious fear of being left alone rooted to the absence of her family since the childhood. Recalling such cold memories was being absorbed into a black hole and to an endless cycle, so shaking her head slightly so she did not look like she was mad from the outer, she kept walking.

    Shiraishi?

The voice belonged to someone she had seen around many times, but perhaps not as much as she had bumped into Shishio, miraculously. Twisting her head to the source of the call with surprise written in her chocolate orbs, she finally locked on the figure of an acquaintance. Tina. Wait, Tiara. It was just how she had heard Shishio utter the wrong name countless of times, that naturally lead to a misheard name. Staring at her figure for a while, she wondered what that might be, was she in need of help? Was she to ask her a question as Shiraishi was used as a walking library a dozen times? She could not know till she stepped forward, so she walked closer to the image of Tiara with a calm, neutral expression on her features. "Hmm?" It was expected for the guarded female to answer that cooly, somehow she could not be comfortable around the book-smacking angry yet regal female.

Whole mess had taken the blonde's attention, not to mention the drake that commanded all to eat a clanmate's flesh who had only protested against his dictatorship — however, being a sensible servaline she was, she could somehow understand the fury behind Sauron's words. In the first day when Shiraishi had joined the clan, she had been puzzled about how the whole clan contrasted the said traditions of BoneClan. On the other hand, forcing them to cannibalism, was it a tradition to complete? Shiraishi did not think so. Besides, morally, it was so wrong in every way. Poor Cullen, whom she had no idea of his identity, was gone only because he had defended the light against dark. It was not logical to rebel so sudden, no, it was the worst mistake that was done in history records; it seemed impossible to beat such a creature. It required patience, a strategy to overthrown him. Tauriel. She had already missed her reign. Without a sound, she took her seat beside Meikai, eyeing the events, never obviously picking a side in the fight.

Shiraishi let the question sink in, her chocolate orbs fixed on hers for a moment; was Tiara babysitting Shishio or tutoring him about which books were worthy to read? In that case, Shiraishi would certainly disagree that none other than all books were worthy page-turners — be it a basic fairytale or a Shakespeare's play. She shrugged nonchalantly, finding the question too bare and too needless unless Tiara was trying to control whatever Shishio did. Shiraishi, after all, could simply answer and walk away, minding her own business, but what did keep her so long to answer?

It was interesting. The small tension that grew between.

"Only the books which I find interesting." The words were annoyingly collected, sharp and cryptic as her eyes reflected dullness of how bored she had already grown. However, the curiosity inside of her rose and rose and she was afraid that she could not keep it covered. "Is there something you want to tell?" A sharp mind she had, of course she had to corner her with a pressing question. However, the image she possessed; only acting innocent and being a cute nerd.

"Shiraishi," There was a soft tune playing in her voice when she introduced herself unlike her typical days where she strolled around with a neutral, calm expression which often made people to think twice before approaching the quiet femme because such tranquility made people suspicious of her actions. However, inside laid an angelic fragile personality, but perhaps, causing not much trouble to people was her way to live her life, so stick to her responsibilities. The blonde servaline stood after the duo who were there to greet the individual whom Shiraishi had taken interest in, and it was always a gain to exchange a few words and experiences with the new faces.

Almost forgetting to greet Meikai and Shishio, she curtly dipped her head with a genuine smile but later her attention was once again on the acquaintance and his... Possessions. "Looks cute," She pointed at the ferret with her front paw, silently trying to get the convo start.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
The blonde femme chuckled at that. Above all she had recommended and even spared her time to carry to his spot; he could be reading manga then. She had remembered seeing volumes scattered around when she had visited, that sounded reasonable. That was not a pleasure to be ashamed of and in fact, Shiraishi did find particular manga to be humorous and brilliantly illustrated. Why would she be against them? Well, the lean servaline had already found Tiara to be a peculiar persona. "I will keep that in mind." She nodded curtly, but mentally she did not take the note of that; he could do whatever he wanted. Well, it seemed Shiraishi was not aware of the servant issue and that Tiara could manage his time. Thinking of that, did it not sound like a marriage?

What kept her busy in her own mind was that yes, she had more to add just like she presumed. Otherwise, as from her observations, she was aware Tiara was not the type to waste her time for nothing. She could have left by now, but the thing she was about to blurt out was the thing which kept them both there.

    Ba-dump. Ba-dump.

Was there a chance that she might like Shishio? Chocolate eyes widened at that, dumbfounded, ideas swirled around her head. Certainly, she had confessed herself that he was indeed a magnetic guy with charm but wasn't he only being nice to everyone and perhaps she was just feeling the love of a friend but — not the like like huh? His coffee scent had already filled her nostrils and she found herself nailed to the spot. How was she to put it straight? Even if she did like him, was it any logical to tell Tiara? Was it not the best way for Shishio to hear from her instead?

Hear what? She was so lost in her own emotions that she even supposed she liked him. Shiraishi, if only she was not that awkward when it came to love. "Is it something you should be informed about?" Finally she had collected herself to utter a sound, and biting her tongue, she only wished Tiara hadn't noticed the change in her expressions.

A small cub that Shiraishi so badly wanted to squeeze, a fluffy shade of blue and a pair of golden eyes which tested her patience; this tiny guy had better be there to join. In fact, just by looking at his tiny frame her chocolate brown eyes sparkled with the urge to follow the little guy everywhere, acting like a protective shadow of a sister, but well, it was all so soon to create scenarios and Shiraishi certainly did not want to scare him especially on his first arrival — besides, she would ruin her usual calm posture although the excitement was bare by only looking at how she adored the cub and how she shuffled her paw as she took her seat beside Meikai, who would at least, as a reserved feline would urge her to stand still. "Hello there, sweetheart, I'm Shiraishi." She spoke, unexpectedly, well since it was the guarded feline who had her answers usually short. However, this time, she could not even cover up her big smile.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
Shishio was her — servant? Narrowing her eyes at that with utter judgement that was not even bothered to be concealed under her innocent frame, she realized she might actually be frowning with the sudden confusion that invaded her tranquil state of mind. The servaline tilted her head to a side, trying to make sense out of her remark, but why would a lion like him would agree to be a servant to anyone? Then it clicked as she remembered about their conversations together, how Tiara acted all bossy around the charming lion. Was it a kind of a game or was Tiara the kind to take such jobs seriously? Judging by her looks and the high words that were spilled from her mouth, she realized that she might not be kidding.

On the other hand, such a humorous news made her chuckle unintentionally. She was quite relieved that at least the tension was kind of scattered. However, she still ought to respond to such an excuse. "Oh so, you may be right at one point. As in my part," She smiled, whole heartedly, despite the current atmosphere she had liked the girl, "I would be seeing him once in a while. How bad of a friend I would be if I completely abandoned him?" And her eyes disappeared behind the stretched smile; she could not confess that she actually did want to visit him every now and then, almost wishing to bump him around, but she still kept her feelings bottled up. Just like Shiraishi would.

Such a pretty name, such a pure soul. Even by looking at Florence's figure, she was impressed and amazed by how graceful a feline could look. Her chocolate orbs scanned her frame, observing her dainty and somewhat royal features closely as meanwhile she conjured up a hot cup of any drink in particular with soft snacks beside. She could be thirsty, hungry and cold and above all she could be sick and all the newcomers were to taken good care of. Offering up what she had conjured, the spotless blonde serval made her way over to the other female with a small smile gracing her maw, still remaining somewhat surprisingly calm as usual. "Shiraishi," She softly uttered. "Welcome to BoneClan." It was pretty obvious that she had noted down her face and name on her mental list; she seemed like a person who bore stories and whom she could learn from.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
A collector? Well it was better than being referred as a hoarder. It had been only a week or so since her arrival and her place had already been decorated by shelves, bookshelves and neat piles of books on the corners for her to read sometime. She could not really let go of her precious buddies so easily, too, and that was why she had started to run a library herself. Therefore, relaxed in his possession, she lightly chuckled at the remark; she was glad she had been interrupted from her studies for once by this sunshine which normally she would ignore to an extend so that she would be left alone once more, concentrated on only the subject she was gripped into. However, conversing with Shishio, the books were thrown to the second line of her concerns. The blonde femme had another bite of her own cupcake and instantly she felt the bittersweet taste linger over her tongue before finding its way to her stomach like the others did. She was afraid that she would suffocate in a pile of mint-cupcakes one day, but considering there were still room for more dessert, she skipped that for another day.

"Huh?" She slipped off from her own ideas and the aroma that made her space out, but considering it was the same idea which had just passed her mind, she could not help but feel surprise as she raised her head a little to adjust so that she could properly look at him. Was there any chance that it could be an indirect invitation? However, as long as it was not spoken clearly she did not want to jump to a conclusion. She could be too sticky, too clingy to his presence maybe but she could freely state that she enjoyed spending her time with him. He was, also, full of information and humor which actually made her chuckle at certain times and the fact that he was her first ever friend in BoneClan whom she felt lighter when he was around was a bonus. He was only being nice to her, maybe, and that was something she had missed after a long time. Nodding curtly and her glance landing on the book which laid under her paws, she would love to go on a book quest with him. Sort of. Not a date for sure. That was not a date. "I know a few spots that display books, old or new, they just somehow manage to find more every week. I actually take morning strolls every day." The last part, quite unnecessarily or naively, was put to say that she was indeed free in the mornings. Covering that up by conjuring up two cups, she smiled, smaller than before as she was possibly embarrassed by the earlier extra. "Even from miles away, I am sure it can be caught." Herself often wandered around with a mint scent, but not as strong as his smell. "Mind serving both of us coffee? I am not very familiar with caffeine." Mint, only mint was what she was familiar with.

No sooner had Sauron declared his reign, then Shiraishi realized she had been early to criticize how BoneClan differed from its said traditions. She had not been whining back then, but wondering the reason behind the large gap between their appearance and the way they actually were. Expectations versus reality; the slender servaline, too, had been hesitant to step inside to their realm having heard of the name and how they worshipped the dead, but once she was in she realized how warm hearted they were all, especially having seen Tauriel here and there — it was such a misfortune that they were now cursed with Sauron's dictatorship who was currently trying to call for assistance by scaring and raining threats over them just to gain power and dominance. Some, which left the lean femme in dismay, had already obeyed the silly commandments of the frightening drake, but as long as Shiraishi lived and as long as she was free without literal chains, she would simply await with the rest to overthrown him without causing too much trouble and without him realizing what was happening. That would be what Tauriel wanted as well as their allies who were under threat as well.

Then, she realized she was actually in pain in her heart, quite metaphorically, but she felt the slight fright. Sauron happened to be an enormous creature with powers which Shiraishi would not even dare to match, and there was this fear of her clanmates being hurt further, severely injured. That, unintentionally, caused a frown on her pretty features and as soon as she realized, she just fastened her steps. No one would be hurt. Shishio would be safe. BoneClan would ironically be saved from this bloodshed and terror.

She did not usually space out, especially when she was sauntering around all by herself, but as such thoughts kept her mind occupied, she could not refrain from bumping into someone on her way which made her stop on her tracks. "Huh," Blinking several times with surprise, her chocolate orbs landed on Meikai whom she had known a little from here and there, but she should have recognized his body since, er, she was kind of popping up wherever he was, sitting next to him at ease although she was complete ice towards majority of acquaintances. This one? Somehow, she enjoyed being with someone calm, just like herself. Well, that was why she constantly, accidentally or not, kept meeting him. Putting up an apologetic smile as she stepped back a little since a moment had already passed while their pelts were still brushing, and well, it was... Awkward. "Meikai," She eagerly began the sentence, however. "I'm sorry, been busy with thoughts." Pause. "What were you doing around here?"

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
Sauron. This madness. As if wherever she turned her head, she was welcomed by a horrifying, gruesome scene. There were always a gathered group around the gigantic, powerful drake who held the ropes in his hands ignoring the comments on his failing dictatorship, but trying to reason with him as if they were all seated in a tea party, democratically commenting on the recent crisis, was no use and was everyone too blind to see that the raging thick scaled creature was too stubborn to take anything as his fault? Too ignorant and destroying everything as if everything was a part of game without remorse? Without a sense of guilt? Attracted by the quarreling crowd, seeing her clanmates rebelling against his throne, she quickened her pace to take her seat among the crowd, which was, as usual, an imaginary saved seat beside Meikai as he had been the only one whom Shiraishi could make out from afar. If her friends were joining under the sake of unity, then she would share a piece of her mind, too, just to annoy the monster. However, as soon as she was settled on her place, her nose had caught a familiar scent of coffee.

Of course, the blonde fem should have known. She should have just smack him like Tiara did most of the times so he would not bid his life only to defend an ideal. No, it was not how strategies worked. It was only skydiving into your own death with your eyes closed. That person being Shishio, did not even help at all and the blood rushed to her cheeks once more, her eyes landing on familiar faces as if she was trying to make sure they were secure, but the source of coffee scent was missing.

Chocolate eyes glancing around she had finally noticed Shishio, in the midst of flames, stubbornly pushing Sauron's buttons. That moron, what was he doing? Her ideas scattered in her mind and her expression grew to be duller, cooler, while her face kept reddening with frustration. She was madly angry at Sauron, at Shishio for being this careless although he fought for his clanmates which she did find impressing and heroic once more, and she was angry at herself for only watching this. That was why, for once, defeated to her temper, she jumped in. "Torturing anyone who is physically weak compared to you is an act of cowardice, and you call yourself the future king of the whole realm." Her glance could not land on Shishio, and in fact refrained from doing so since she knew she would fall weak. "It's not going to solve anything, trying to reason with him. He won't change his ideals, so do we. It's not logical for us to risk our lives for nothing. Instead we should take action instead of fighting over here and we should spend our lives doing actually something." Well, that was a bit harsh but the cute lean serval was triggered while her legs trembled slightly. She just wanted them all to see before act.
    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
Some might have believed that the spotless lean serval had been sleeping through the winter in her own home, not bothering to mind the changes that the whole clan was going through with Sauron's reign, but the fact was that that day was the first since she had gone out after she had fallen sick. How careless and unfortunate for Shiraishi to fall weak when she was supposed to watch over her friends, Meikai, Tiara and Shishio. The thought of her first crush caused stomach burn and chest pain; she wondered whether he was alive or not as the last time she had seen the handsome lion was the time when he had been burned alive. She could not get the chance to visit him, which, Shiraishi felt more guilty about. She was mad at herself for not paying much attention to the coffee addict despite the fact that she had always kept her cool around him; not to mention the heat he caused every time they met. If she had been better, she would have tailed him everywhere and given him a hug perhaps midst the troubles. A hug. The pretty blonde shook her head with the thought but the worse came in.

What if he had a date? That he could not spare his time for the quiet feline? What if finally Tiara and him were dating? Well, poor femme, she had no idea about the stabbing incident after all. She had missed everything. Only because of the fever and a runny nose. If she had taken good care of herself, she would not have been in a maze of questions. Besides, was Sauron still alive? Poor Tauriel, she had already missed the kind hearted leader.

Sniffing, she kept walking to the crowded area, her blonde pelt was darker than usual perhaps due to not being washed by the sunlight for straight days. She sighed, brown orbs weakly observing her surroundings as she listened to the bits of conversations to catch up with the events. She was not even munching on any mint dessert; she only walked as she inhaled the oxygen she missed.
    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
"Eh?" It took about three seconds to realize it was Meikai after she had uttered a sound of surprise and at the time being, her chocolate orbs examined his body as her brain processed the fact that he had spoken via telepathy. Unintentionally, she tilted her head to a side, ears falling back as she stared at her friend who had changed and perhaps, a lot had changed when she had been out of sight for only three days. However, seeing a friend, a friend whom she could strangely rely on with her eyes closed; without further hesitation, she sat next to him with a calm smile which radiated comfort yet somehow it still reflected the tiredness. Perhaps, she had chosen to seat herself quite closer than usual which was; eh, close enough for their pelts to brush against each other's. Shiraishi did not seem to mind the touch, and instead the familiarity soothed her and she only nodded in return to his question; she did not want her friends to be concerned about her while they ought to be concerned about their own lives during Sauron's play. Hardly had she opened her mouth to speak about his changes, the devil approached as if he had sensed his name being swirled inside of her head; Shishio.

Was it even fair to speak of him as the devil when only thing he resembled was an angel to her? As if her sickness had not been enough, her heart pounded against her chest as soon as her nose caught the scent of coffee and the charming voice — which took pretty longer for her to sense since her nose did not work as healthy as before — and with that she lifted her chin to see the figure properly. In that moment she realized that the thing she felt was not some kind of admiration but she did like like him although it had been still somewhat clear to her, but there were no doubts left now. She felt the urge to hug both, especially Shishio but how awkward that would be on a scale as she was always the reserved one?

Make it three. As soon as Tiara approached, she felt even better than before. All of her friends, which she valued the most in her life had gathered. There were no words necessary to fill the silence, Shiraishi was pretty much relieved to see their presences. They were kind and caring enough to quickly gather around her when she did not seem okay at all. Since everyone had asked the same question, it was better to answer for all. "I am," A light sniffle. "Fine, guys, I just caught a minor cold." Which lasted for three days, but she still managed a smile as that much was what she owed. "It feels good to see you." Her smile brightened even more, which was usually concealed under a calm one. "Though, you look like you bear the news." She added afterwards. What had happened to Meikai and why was he still attractive although she was not interested? Was Tiara okay? What had been Shishio doing? Was he dating with someone? Were they dating? Oh, and she almost forgot. "I'd like to, Tiara." With that, she offered a cheeky smile despite the questions in her mind. Perhaps the blonde was the only one who got her name right without mistakes. "Are you guys still playing the master and the servant or?" It was directly said, without hesitation, but she craved for the answer and the last or was obviously stating the further.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
"Hi there," The next to approach was the blonde servaline who had just claimed her seat next to MacCready, dull eyes situated on the stranger; the poor thing had been eyed by the BoneClanners for the good amount of time and was it not uncomfortable. Indeed, there must have been an incident before she appeared since everyone was staring at the somewhat cute beast's soul as if he was a monster. Well, Shiraishi should definitely cross missing things out of her list of habits. It had been frequently happening and it was bothering her a lot, being late to the scene. Maybe, she could blame it on her slow recovery? Shrugging, she offered a cautious smile. She had witnessed multiple personality disorder once; well she hadn't exactly witnessed but heard about it a lot and she recalled reading it somewhere. "Could you please state who you are once more? I must have missed it, I am so sorry." She hadn't missed it, she had heard the bits but she wanted to hear the answer since; any of his personalities could answer. That would be interesting to see.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
That was — certainly impressing to watch the femme who had been working on the severe injuries with such agility and skill; she wondered the Arctic canine's backstory. By any chance, could she be a healer or could she bear medical knowledge due to a period of training? Was she talented by birth or was she a bookworm just like herself? Needless to say, she could not have guessed that she could be into science and medicine, owning a notebook which she wrote instructions and data in. The lean serval padded over with curious sparks gleaming on her eyes, no not located on the injured traveler but on Penelope; a person she could exchange studies with. Another reserved individual despite her being this stoic. Creating a mental note, Shiraishi took record of the female to meet at another time for a proper introduction, and admiring the methods she had used; the blonde finally questioned the fact that she had never touched the cover of a medical record. Shrugging it off mentally, she glanced at the poor stranger who had been mysteriously hurt and deciding that herself was no help, she decided to shut her mouth as she took her seat near the two lions.
    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
It was not the loud noise that attracted her to the scene; it was the WindClanner that was carried by the tigress as if it was totally understandable. Well, in a way, it was since WindClan was considered to be the enemy clan, but the fact that Shiraishi had not witnessed a capture for weeks was enough for her to be hooked by the event. Thus, she obediently followed the tigress to wherever she was heading; presumably, the larger feline must have been thinking about what she ought to do with the captive. Regardless, she was only interested because it was Penelope — Penelope who she had seen only a few times — whom Shiraishi acknowledged as a brilliant individual. That was why, this capture would not turn out to be a disappointing event.

It could appear as the opposite, too. With an upcoming gruesome scene.

Luckily, the poor captive had not been cut open by the torturer yet and the person that could easily soothe her was there. Oddly enough, wherever Shiraishi went, Shishio was there as if he had been mocking her with his appealing presence. Considering it was not the main thing to be concerned about, she focused on the strapped stranger as her ears flattened against her skull; was that again associated with the medical field? Seating herself closer than usual next to the familiar lion just in case, she managed to cover up her worries with her calm expression, staring at both and finally finding guts to ask. "What are you doing with him?"
    [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;]
Unfortunately — or lucky enough — she was once again late to reserve her seat amongst the crowd and the blonde servaline had only caught the fading image of the drake whom everyone detested for brutal actions and his dictatorship; not to mention he had burnt Shishio alive just to punish him for objecting his actions, but her focus was elsewhere while everyone else was spaced out by the sudden appearance and disappearance of the current leader. ColouredClan had brought gifts despite the troubles BoneClan was going through; was it the wisest choice since Sauron took anything offensive and regarded everything as weakness? Presumably, that was why the gifts were wasted while everyone else was wondering about the plots swirling around the drake's head. That was something Shiraishi could not be concerned about for once, Sauron was not going to change until as a clan, as a whole they stopped him and putting rocks on his path would only anger him more and perhaps affect the result worse than it could turn out to be. "I will take this," She uttered, pulling a bright blue scarf to her side with her front paw as she claimed the gift as hers with a faint smile which indicated that she was also aware of what Sauron was capable of, but ignored it nevertheless to enjoy promised moment of gifts.

Having a mild heart was not a shameful possession, but the very solid presence of Sauron and her clanmates which were staring at the poor lost tom — perhaps, perplexing him beyond control as the blonde servaline's eyes met with his, staring through his coward soul. Certainly, the tom lacked the confidence to speak up his mind, perhaps ask for directions to the enemy clan, but all he had chosen was to stand there, literally craving for trouble.
