Areyk woke up and saw Rei crying. He stood groggily. "Hey, why're you crying? Are you okay?" he asked, worry flooding into his green eyes.

Areyk's eyes turned sad as he reached out and pulled her close to him in a comforting hug.

Dawn walked over to Fang and Midnight, ignoring the wolves. However, she did growl lowly when Shadow padded over calmly. "I am here to protect you, not harm you." shadow said quietly.

Shadow glared coldly at the wolves and sat in between the wolves and dogs. Dawn sat close to him to keep a watch on the wolves.

Dawn and Shadow nodded. Dawn's eyes filled with pride that she'd lead a sled.

Shadow growled and charged the wolf, making it run away yelping. He then sat down to continue glaring at the wolves trying to attack the dogs.

Shadow nodded hesitantly. "Just don't get yourself hurt." he said quietly. "Your owners wouldn't be too happy if you did."

Shadow nudged Midnight gently as he stood protectively in front of her and the other dogs. He glared at the brown wolf with teal eyes. "I suggest you leave before I rip your throat out." he said calmly.

Shadow wasn't sure what to do, so he tackled the teal eyed wolf, sinking his sharp fangs into her shoulder.

Dawn let her owner secure her harness. Shadow glared at the wolves, daring them to try something as he kept watch over the dogs.

Shadow watched his old pack with hatred in his eyes. (Can he have a past in the pack following them and be Night's brother?)

Dawn yawned but stayed sitting up, looking at the wolves curiously.

Shadow didn't take his eyes off his former pack as he spoke. "Nothing, I just...have a strong dislike for them. Always have, always will." he replied, growling slightly. His pearly white canines shone, his icy blue eyes a bit sad.

Shadow was about to say somethin else, but then could swear he smelled his brother's scent and immediatly shot to his paws, snarling threateningly. His hackles raised as well as his neck fur.

Shadow snarled at Red and glared at his brother. "I just scented the wolf I hate the most." he replied, his eyes feral.

Shadow snorted. "I'm a wolf, stupid. Maybe you should get your nose checked." he tauted angrily. Dawn looked at Night, Shadow, and Red with curiousity. She wondered what happened between them to hate each other. Dawn decided to try to calm Shadow down, so she stood and nudged him playfully. "Hey, it's alright." she said soothingly.

Shadow padded away from Dawn. "All of you rest, I'll keep watch." he barked coldly.

Shadow let out a low warning growl to Elizabeth and turned to look at Lira. He nodded his broad head and swiftly turned to glare at the wolves again.

Shadow laughed darkly and continued to glare, growling every so often.

"The same goes for you, Red." Shadow barked, overhearing the conversation. "anyways, if you want to kill them, you'll have to kill me first." he continued. Dawn padded to Shadow's side, She wasn't afraid, only fascinated.
