---Pia gave Fili a weak smile. "Naw, son. It wasn't an accident, or anything like that. But me and the father don't really feel anything, for each other."

---"Actually, could you show me how to make one? I've always wanted to learn, but I never really did..." These days, she tended to be a bit spacey, occasionally leaving sentences unfinished. With her teeth, she gently picked up the first crown, and set it on Blight's head.

---"Then I wouldn't be able to do it anyway, a clumsy dog like me," Pia joked. She adjusted her flower crown so that it tilted over one ear. The femme shifted her body, attempting to get more comfortable with her slightly swollen belly.

---"Thanks, Corey. And Valentina, the help would be great." The border collie closed her eyes for a moment, before turning to her father. "Yes, Dad, I am pregnant. By my own choice." She leaned a bit closer to Tatara, to whisper in his ear,"I can tell you more, just not here."

---"Why?" she asked softly, gazing at him through big, brown eyes. Of course, almost everybody would want to know, even if they hadn't expressed it at the announcement. "I could tell you, you know. He said I could," she mused.

---There was something about how he said it- something that made Pia trust him. "Glitched is the father," she admitted, then pressed on. "I just wanted kids so much. After a few dates, Glitched agreed to get me pregnant; I guess he wanted kits, too. We never really had anything but some stupid case of puppy love. Excuse the pun," she added, eyes twinkling. They had both been in dog bodies, after all.

---Pia grinned widely. "Ha, ha, dog puns. And thanks for the offer- I'll probably need the help." She continued, but with a hint of doubt in her voice. "People keep telling me I'm going to be a good mother... but what if I'm not? What if I can't take care of them? What if..." The canine trailed off, not voicing her worst fear. That her litter would be stillborn.

---In truth, Pia's eyes were a bit wet as she rested her muzzle on Blight's shoulder, hugging him back. She then blinked away the small tears, and whispered into the weimaraner's ear. "Thank you." It wasn't overly dramatic, just sweet and simple. And she was too choked up to say anything else.

---Pia trotted up happily. "Heyyo, nerds!" she said loudly. She had planned to cartwheel in, but found that she really shouldn't, what with the kids. Instead, she sat on Blight's other side, flicking his ear with her tail.

Omfg, I just realized that they need to have titles. Henceforth, Pia will refer to Corey as 'Your Supreme Nerdliness'

---Out of nowhere, Pia's mood changed. Probably something hormone-related. "Yeah, Tartara's a good dad. But look how my mom turned out. She practically became public enemy no. 1." She said skeptically. Her tone then became softer, more serious. "Please, never let me do to horrible to my children."

---Pia rolled her eyes. "Yes, I'm excited, no matter what it might look like. I will love them, even if no one else does." By this, she meant the love of a parent. She had discussed this with Glitch, and knew that he wouldn't reveal they were his until they were apprentices. Pia understood this; she wouldn't want to jeopardize his new relationship.

---Pia trotted up, tail wagging excitedly at his news. She nuzzled the other dog gently. "I like it, bae." From now on, she would call him Ev, or Evi.

---"Yeah, Ev? Wha- oh. Oh." She came to a stop in front of him, noticing the small bouquet of flowers. The exact same kind they'd used for the flower crowns. The femme took a sharp breath- She had just felt one of her unborn children kick her, as if it approved of what was happening. Pia sat down quickly, taking another deep breath.

---Pia took the flowers, sniffed them deeply before answering. Opening her brown eyes, she leaned forward to gently touch Evarett's nose with her own. "Everett, I would love to be your girlfriend."

---Pia turned to look at their audience with a wide grin. "I'd like to give special thanks to the nerd squad, even though they did absolutely nothing to make this happen." She then leaned forward, and ignoring the world around her, kissed her new boyfriend.

---Pia drew back after about a minute. "Ev? Anybody home?" she giggled, placing a delicate white paw on his shoulder. She honestly had no idea why she did that. Love was a drug.
