Hearing news of a patrol, she quickly ate the mouse she selected and padded up to Cardinalstar.

Mistflower tried to sooth the kit by grooming her.

Snowkit decided to use her energy and the fact her mother wasn't paying attention to creep out of the nursery slowly, stumbling slightly.

"It was fine.."
After being hit by Rainpool's tail for the tenth time she shifted her tail over the other's, only to stop it from moving.

Whitefoot chuckled softly.
"Than no training!"
He spoke in a sing song voice, teasing his apprentice.

[Pfft. First time mothers will always think that]
Mistflower stopped, startled by Owlkit's violence.
"Maybe you should try, Darkstar."

Snowkit made an annoyed mewing sound, swatting at Darkstar's nose.

[Who gave these kits the angry genes??]

Goldengaze shrugged slightly.
"The herbs are being herbs. I'll need to check them soon."
She placed her paw close to the other she's.
"How are you and Riverpaw? She sounds like a perfect match for my brother."

Whitefoot chuckled and rolled away from his apprentice.
"You'll have to catch me first!"

[I could be Tumblewind. I love being medics!]

Mistflower nodded, and was about to stand up to get the medic.

Almost on cue, Tumblewind poked his head in the nursery.
"I could hear the hissing from out here. Is everything alright?"

Goldengaze nodded, listening to her brother hollering as he played around.
"We don't know what happened to our father, or Halfkit... When Lightstripe was around, she told us a Fox took her."
She didn't do anything to protest Rainpool coming closer.

Whitefoot raced around Riverpaw, grinning.
[I'll make one or two]

Halfheart chuckled slightly, having watched Lionheart stumble around.
"Having trouble?"
She kept up with Cardinalstar, tail flicking in amusement.

Tumblewind scooped up the kit, giving it a small inspection.

Mistflower watched, worried.

[yeah! I was gonna have Whitefoot accidentally run into him as Riverpaw chased him.]

Goldengaze listened to her.
"Can you make sure that your kit doesn't ruin my brother?"

Whitefoot rolled and quickly followed her.

Tumblewind shook his head slightly.
"She's.. well... blind.."

Mistflower thought he was holding something back.

Goldengaze didn't seem to notice.

Whitefoot rolled slight, alarmed. He saw who he ran into, his ears flicked back and blushed.
"I-I'm so sorry!"

Halfheart looked for her own prey to bring back to camp, ears swiveling.

He remained unfazed.
"And she's... deaf.."

Mistflower wailed slightly.

Snowkit and Frostkit wondered what had distressed their mother.

Hollowpaw was napping, unaware of the mess of herbs that was made. He was a fairly heavy sleeper, and wouldn't enjoy being disturbed for no good reason. The apprentice flicked his tail slightly.

[Poor Whitefoot.]
She shrugged.
"It was bound to happen.."

Whitefoot's ears flicked back, fur bristling. He looked away, sadly replying.
"Yes, sir..."
He started to pad away, tail drooping.

Tumblewind quickly left, looking back sadly.

Mistflower's ears flicked back, her fur bristling.

Hollowpaw was about to tell him off, but the moment he opened his eyes he swallowed his tongue.
"N-no..."

The warrior followed his apprentice, ears forward. He whispered to her.
"At least we're doing this together."

Goldengaze seemed to look at Rainpool.
"Looks like both troublemakers are helping me out."
