Things had been quiet and so Yuri would have been surprised to know this stranger had heard of any discourse about his group and disliked it too. The commander couldn’t tell much about the feline sitting upon the border except that they smelled like the Sanctuary. They seemed to be tense for some reason perhaps they had good news or bad news or they had to relieve themselves or they were just in a hurry to do routine political business.
The angora moved to meet Tequilanight. He had sized the ragdoll up on his approach and so he didn’t waste time when barking his greeting. ”Greetings, the Sanctuary. What brings you here?” He addressed the silvery pelted felid by their group’s name because he did not know their proper one. Being addressed by nationality was at least a step up from “hey you”.
Yuri approached next to Zenith. He too couldn’t remember the last visit made by the ally. He did not expect any news he would find to be “interesting” would come from the Sanctuarian. He knew the group to be the type that kept to themselves mostly. Still, he waited to listen.

Listening to the Empress talk – the more she kept going, the more not okay Yuri looked about this proposed event. Eyebrows raised and jaw parted slightly, he stepped closer to the cougar. Pools of paint and balloons full of paint? At first Yuri was thinking of the sheer pain and never-ending work it would take to cleanse it all from his pelt. Then Flora claimed it would all wash out easily with water and he was mostly cured of his shock and discomfort. ”So no staining or tinting either?” He wanted to be 100% sure his curls and fluff would be fine.
Paint pools to swim in still sounded a bit unhealthy. Yuri supposed he would find fun in the event if he could avoid taking on much paint himself. He would focus on painting others. ”Greetings, once again, Flora,” he mewed after noticing he’d crept up and had already spoken without greeting the visitor. ”Colour Command will attend,” he assured.

Yuri didn’t have the luxury of being a free spirit anymore. He had responsibilities and people breathing near him all the time. It wasn’t like he couldn’t call all the shots, but controlling other groups and leaders and opinions was impossible and so frustrating he wished he could burn down all their territories. Too bad for him that he didn’t have access to that much fire. So, he was less severe when dealing with the nuisances of the world and instead the aggravated soldier marched through the forest under the mountain, grumbling and gurgling to himself. Hateful thoughts about how pathetic everyone was around him marinated in his head. It was a dreadful thing to dwell on, but for Yuri it seemed rather fitting. The brute enjoyed it despite his minor outward displays of torment.
He was usually an alert being. Normally he moved with a purpose and was ready for anything, but he recognized the mountain next to him and he let his guard down. The Frontier were a bunch of vanilla goodies. He would die of shock if one of them attacked him or even confronted him all the way out here. It wouldn’t happen. The commander was on his way back to home after visiting the Rift to talk about political things. He was simply passing through and he wasn’t paying attention to the walk ahead of him.
He was rather busy mocking a detractor with a snooty eye roll. His fuchsia optics rolled a full exaggerated circle in their sockets. All the while the tabby kept a strong pace forward. Consequently, he didn’t notice the vampiress and just as he emerged from some concealing vines and underbrush, he collided straight into side of the canine. The male immediately made a sound of indignation. The fluffy cat was knocked back onto his hindquarters by the impact.
He angled his narrowed eyes upwards to gaze at what he’d just walked into. How could there have been someone out here? Slowly and oddly he was starting to feel like he’d seen this creature before – in his past. Had she not resided in Colour Command when it had been still called ColouredClan then? ”Watch where you are going,” his cold voice mouthed, already attempting to deflect blame from himself. He swiftly lifted himself back to his four black paws and gave his wings a slight shudder as he fixed himself. ”Have we met? I think we have,” the soldier added more unwillingly with a glance around to take in the surroundings he’d been ignoring.
//so sorry for the wait!

Yuri had a difficult early love life. All in all, he was a rather loveless creature that wanted to be adored for what he truly was. It sounded like a respectable desire but what he was was not always something so admirable. He fancied beautiful things. Like the flowers that he grew in his greenhouse and the many lovely ladies he’d let capture his heart for fleeting moments. The women he loved where never cruel, unlovable, or bad creatures. They were always beautiful and seemingly good aside from being daring and having fascination with danger. He could put on the show that he was a well-mannered elite and he fought incredibly hard to keep that reputation. He was married now to an old enemy, yet things were working out. He had a plethora of children to keep track of now. Or he did. He kept having to remind himself they weren’t so small anymore.
He did not know of Lemonwater’s existence. He didn’t know about all the milestones and accomplishments he’d missed in a daughter’s life. Despite his aloofness to most folk, the brute valued his children for what they were. They were his flesh and blood and his legacy. The maiden’s unfamiliar voice drifted through the slightly chilled air and reached the commandite’s black dipped ears. Curiosity and a sense of duty led his dark paws towards the border of Colour Command. The lady’s voice had called for him directly. It could have been a messenger from another group or something of that routine and political nature, but the tone of the voice seemed to suggest something different. There was a mystical and special uncertainty in the call that made him excited – this may have not been a simple message or letter.
The tabby squinted his eyes as he focused on and neared the petite figure. He squinted not because he had trouble seeing but because he couldn’t believe it. Memories that had been long ago buried of the pretty blue tortoiseshell lover resurfaced. He felt warm glee and pleasant surprise that a former lover would come back for him – even if it had been him that had left. His graceful steps quickened and carried him to Lemonwater. Yuri’s thin lips began to form his past lover’s name – Lemonwater’s mother’s name – before he noticed the sunny yellow eyes. The purr stopped in his throat just as he was halfway through the name. It was not her, but it was. ”I-I apologize. I am him – Yuri Muzikant,” he mewed, pressing through his blunder. His fuchsia eyes were trained desperately upon the femme before him. It had to be her.
//i rly like your writing + characterization btw ^^
Technically I am CST but I never sleep so.... except for tonight
I have been doing a lot of homework and I am tired now! I will get to stuff I haven't tomorrow! PLus plus I am going to be putting up the territory change thread tomorrow! yay Anyway night ppl

Light began peeking through the curtains, casting a soft glow of light into the bedroom. The tyrant didn’t stir at the minor disturbance. The light continued to grow. Soon the morning light concentrated into a bright sliver over his face. Grunting disappreciativly, Yuri blinked open his dark pink eyes. It felt just like a regular morning. But it was not.
The tomcat slipped from the bed and stretched his body and wings. He started towards the bedroom door, glancing back once to the bed where Frightfur may have been sleeping still. Then he charged down the stairs and out his front door – ready for a new day. And, boy, did he find a lot of new things on this day.
He traversed the hilly lakeside town as he usually did. He trotted on graceful paws down the stone staircases leading down towards the center of Colour Town and then further down to the docks. The early dawn’s chill was stinging but the sun shined and promised a decent and warmer day would come later. Yuri held his common faint smirk on his maw as he overserved the familiar town. He knew every crevice and crack of his beloved Colour Town. He knew the town so well that it did not take him long to realized something was off. Something had changed and standing at the docks he could see it.
A dark structure of brilliant architecture loomed in the distance. There was a small island in the lake and upon it Yuri could see a large gothic castle. That had never been there before. After gazing in awe at the medieval jewel across the blue water, he whirled to check back over Colour Town. To his disbelief he noticed the lakeside town was now isolated! Colour Town itself seemed to be upon its own large island in the center of the great lake. Shock griping his face, the butterfly winged felid jumped and flew high above the town to make sure. From the air, he could confirm it was truth. Colour Town was now an island and a smaller unknown island was located nearby. Had anything else changed? He could see land in the distance on the other sides of the lake that encapsulated his town. Was that where their biomes were?
Yuri landed on his perch upon the dock railings in Colour Town. He wondered if anyone else had noticed this unexplainable change. The territory was in place when he had gone to sleep last night. ”Commandites, the territory has changed in the night! We are on an island and there is a second island next to us. I can’t see the biomes, but we will have to find them and make sure they are alright.” He was aware that his announcement made him sound like a complete loon, but it was true. The territory was all mixed up. Surprise had not yet left his face.
//The territory changes discussed in the OOC board are now finally in place! I have updated the guide with the new territory information and so everything in the current Colour Command Guide is updated!

Some of his uncomfortable sternness dissolved when Zenith agreed to not repeat the mistake. A pleased glint in his eye, he was glad that it would not be a battle or a fire fight to get the answer he had wanted. ”Excellent,” he purred shortly. He listened to Zen as she brought up another topic.
He made a “ppsh”-ing noise when she began to pin the savagery of the former Exiles on herself. It had been her idea to bring the Renegades to neutral status, but he didn’t blame her for it not working out. ”How could you have known they’d be like that?” His expression changed very slightly as his eyes darkened subtly. He did not love the part about Zenith being attack while visiting there on political business. He was also unpleasantly surprised that his daughter had been speaking with the BlizzardClan leader. Yuri still was not the biggest fan of him.
”I don’t know anything about a timeline and their lying, but I am not happy to know they attacked you – or tried to. Are you injured?” He glanced over her to look for injury. ”We agreed to make the Renegades neutrals in order to collect more information on them before we made a good choice about where to properly place them. I would say we should place them in their usual spot as enemies. I never liked them and I don’t feel like making new friends right now.” He studied his daughter’s face with a faint smirk now on his lips. If more information came to light about the Renegades that displayed them in a way that made Yuri desire them as a neutral or ally then things could change, but with what he knew and felt now he thought they fit well inside the big enemy bin.
//ahh sorrryyy I forgot all about this thread but I finally got to it Dx

Yuri’s concern melted away as he realized Fright’s distant expression was only due to the serval using super senses to spy on the entire territory outside their home. Then he was quickly pulled into a hug by a hefty metal paws. Yuri choked and struggled in the vice-like-grip, choosing to act like his spouse’s affection was painful in this moment. The fluffy domestic feline wiggled away and stumbled backwards a pace from Fright. The comment about not wanting him to check into the hospital was pretty nice. Yuri didn’t want to get hurt either so he never desired to be the new Executive Whitecoat’s patient. ”You’re welcome, Frightfur,” Yuri said. ”I won’t turn up in the hospital if I can help it,” he promised.

Poetry? It was not a genre Yuri read. The closest he had ever been to poetry may have been when he found an old copy of Macbeth in The Elite’s old mansion library. Yuri couldn’t write artful prose. He respected it as much as he could something distant and uninteresting to him. Because of those sentiments Yuri didn’t think he’d partake despite the unique event. He at least considered dropping by and having a look around and getting a good snicker out it. He’d cheer any Comandite participants that entered. ”Thank you for the invite, Tequilanight. I will not be participating myself but I may stop by~”

Clover placed him in an icy tundra? So be it. It was better than a gross swamp or sweltering desert. ”The cold doesn’t bother me,” he insisted. ”I can’t help but to cheat if you guys suggest such horrible options,” the tabby retorted petulantly to Frightfur.
Yuri’s thin lips fell into a tight frown. Clover’s new question meant he’d either have to give up tea and wine or meat. He needed all those things, but he couldn’t imagine only eating veggies like a rabbit or other prey animal. ”I would rather only drink water than eat only vegetables,” he agreed with Whisp. He already scowled at what Frightfur called “meals”.
He was going to ask his own question. He didn’t think long. ”So, would you rather live your entire life alone or live your entire life surrounded by annoying people? Frankly, I didn’t get a choice in this...” The answer, to him, was easy to formulate. He would be all alone – the last creature alive even – but it was too bad the universe trapped him in the exact opposite option.
Track for now!
I am not going to make Yuri have a stand. The other stands need customers after all.

Yuri had little contact with WindClan. He could not recall a time when he had met a Windclanner personally. He may have met the pro group on the battlefield before during a joint raid where the name WindClan was not the main focus. He had no significant history with the group that was now known as Wind Haven. His dislike for them came from his own alignment and beliefs.
The tabby landed and stepped to Frightfur’s side with his eyes on the icy lion. It had been so long that he could not place the scent that wafted from the silent stranger’s thick pelt. Yuri felt a slight buzz of annoyance and confusion. He did not know anything about this male. The butterfly winged tabby spoke cool and cautiously with his brow knitted. ”Greetings. This is Colour Command’s domain. I am Yuri Muzikant, the Spectrum Commander. What is your business here and where are you from?”

Yuri recognized the black kitsune-jaguar from when he’d previously lived in the Veil. Remembering Steve’s last ambassador report, Yuri guess that Quasar was one of the new Shaderunners. Yuri hummed interestedly when Quasar admitted he was on some kind of probation. It was something Yuri himself wouldn’t have freely told. He focused his bright eyes upon Quasar even as more Veilians gathered. He grunted in response their brief congratulations, choosing to address them in a moment. ”I am here to primary inform the Shadow Veil of the leadership and name change in Colour Command. Secondly, I want to discuss our status as neutrals. I may want to change that, so I want to talk first.” Yuri was going to be more careful about his alliances – as careful as he could bear to be. He was a dying breed and he didn’t have a peer group anymore.
He addressed a few familiar faces like Soundcheck and Fragilepast as well as the unfamiliar wolfdog. ”Ha, thanks for the congratulations but it really is not so hard anymore,” the angora purred rather conceitedly. When he was a ripe commander – a soldier that had just ascended to the role for the first time – he would have gladly consumed as many congratulations as possible due to his giddy excitement. Now, Yuri only felt a cool satisfaction to be in his familiar and former role.
He showed a toothy grin to Steve as the brown tabby approached. Steve was the only contact he’d had from the Veil ever since he left and the young male’s face was beginning to be the most familiar of everyone in the Shadow Veil. ”Nice to see you as well, Steve,” Yuri mewed warmly. ”Thank you~”
Yuri craned his neck and watched as a winged lioness descended. Steve had mentioned Sek had recently had a new litter of baby lions and so Yuri should have put two and two together rather quickly but he still stared and wondered who it was for a moment. Body changes usually mixed him up, especially when it was not a creature he was very close to or saw often. Finally Yuri realized this was Sekhmet. He stepped forward and spoke. ”Yes, once again,” he replied curtly before moving on. ”I want to discuss a possible alliance – if it fancies us. I am a classic anti-gentleman, if you know that means. It is what I’m from and it is what I enjoy. From what I understand the Veil is less similar to that now, but I’d want one of the last anti-groups on my side. I believe you dropped us to neutrals last?” He didn’t recall it being Sango but perhaps it had been Luca. Yuri always felt a prickle of rage about it. The Shadow Veil dropped his group from time to time. It seemed like every time he got back to his home and he learned of the recent political news Shadow Veil dropping them from allies was part of it.
”What are your thoughts, Sekhmet? Please don’t hold back,” the aristocrat asked and then insisted. He didn’t want anything superficial. That was not a relationship he was interested in. He wanted to hear everything and fight about everything if it was needed.
//late but this thread got away from me

It was a big step to change the location of his meetings. Ever since he had fist taken leadership of Colour Command, or ColouredClan then, he had rallied his troops at the docks. He had nostalgia for the docks in Colour Town but this room was fitting and it served his purpose. He didn’t have to bother combining his voice with sound manipulation to be heard in this room. His cold, slightly soft-spoken voice carried well thanks to the room's good acoustics. He felt like the tyrant that he called himself seated upon the main throne at the far end of the room. This would be his first meeting in the throne room of the Muzikant Castle.
To inform his comrades, he had sent a few loyal guards to deliver small letters that enclosed a note informing that this week’s meeting and every one afterwards would be held on the smaller island next to Colour Town’s, inside the castle’s throne room. Yuri boredly awaited the hopefully timely arrival of his subjects. He did not bother going over what he was going to discuss. He was not nervous or quite orderly enough to do so.
Slowly a few bodies began to fill the large and high ceilinged room. The striped tom cleared his throat. ”Welcome, Commandites,” his rosy vivacious eyes rolled over those present, ”This will be our new venue for weekly meetings. If any of you havn’t been paying attention, the territory had unexplainably changed in the last day. Colour Town is now upon its own island – I am sure you at least noticed that when traveling here,” he explained amusedly. The attendees of this meeting had to have flied, or teleported, or traveled by boat, or swam to arrive on the smaller island across the water that housed the castle. ”This island has materialized as well as this castle. I am working on getting it decorated nicely. The castle will be named the Muzikant Castle for my old family name. You are all free to enjoy the castle as you please and you may, if you find that it suits you better, move to live in one of the rooms here instead of Colour Town. To continue about the sudden territory changes, new biomes are now within our parameters while some of the older familiar ones have somehow been pushed out of our border biome.” He thought that covered it. Most commandites should have already noticed the changes to their lands and so he wouldn’t elaborate anymore.
”I would like to welcome Risk to the group as well as my daughter Lemonwater. She was traveled a long way to visit me, she is just visiting now, but make her feel welcome too, please.” He was glad to at least welcome one new member to the group. ”We have received many invitations from allies this week. The Empire has invited us to a Valentine's stargazing festival and The Santuary has invited us to a poetry event. The Dark Dynasty is hosting a paint fight with us. Try to attend these event to represent. Also, Frightfur is holding a Coat team lesson, if you are interested in that branch of the ranks, attend.”
”I will be discussing demotions and promotions and other announcements shortly. I will take question now if anyone has them – otherwise sit patiently.” He knew who he wanted to move in the ranks but first he wanted to allow a pause in case anything needed to be cleared up.

Yuri glanced away from the castle he had returned looking act when he detected the flash of light from Frightfur’s teleport. Of course he was right. Why would he lie about something like this? He listened as the fluffy Maine Coon suggested it was a flood but his face reflected disagreement. A flood could explain the town now being on an island but it didn’t explain the new island and castle. [b”I am not surrre,”[/b] he extended. When he thought about it there were many many unexplained things that had happened to or around him before. All he could do was crash on and work with it. So what? His town was on an island and now they may have had a castle at their disposal – if it was empty.. Yuri could live with this. ”I just accept these types of phenomena now..”
But first priority was to storm the castle and claim it. He always liked castles and mansions. ”My first goal of investigation is to explore that castle,” the tabby declared and pointed a claw to the smaller neighboring island and the grey figure of the castle. ”You and some others may come. What if I need backup?” He suggested playfully, but within his mind his suggestion was somewhat serious. He couldn’t know what to expect to be inside the gothic fortress.

The way she looked at him – he wasn’t sure if it was a good way. These days he was no longer self-conscious of his sparkly, fragile, and pink butterfly wings. They were not with him from the start – having grown into place one day, but they had become part of his identity. Although, at one time the villain had been so horrified by the fairy-like wings he’d wanted them cut from his back even if he risked hemorrhaging. In the end he’d kept them and learned to love them. He could fly and float with them as well as dazzle others. They were colorful and lively like his home. On the down side, he endured the unwanted image of a pretty little fairy and being told he couldn’t be taken seriously. To those opinions, he introduced his claws.
”I am,” he snapped in confirmation to Lemon’s bewildered statement. A tiny flare of anger and offence was forming on his countenance as the sunny eyes stared into him. Yuri blinked slowly and tried to confirm if this was an offensive stance this past lover look-a-like was taking. ”Mmhmm,” he began lowly, ”Are you unimpressed?” His dark rosy eyes were hooded heavily and slanted into a well-practiced glare.
The femme’s next statement shattered his glare and he took his turn to regard her with confusion and awe. D-daughter? He had a daughter that he didn’t know about and it was his and Diamonddust’s? That had been such a long time ago. He’d been a young soldier when he’d first met Diamond and he’d moved on and forgotten about her until now. ”Diamonddust…daughter,” he muttered. Yuri brought a paw to his chest. ”You’re my daughter,” he tried. It was awkward but maybe he’d get better at it. He’d been a lover to Diamonddust and he wouldn’t deny the possible existence of children. He couldn’t believe he didn’t know until now, but with how quickly he moved when he was younger it was understandable.
Yuri watched her gaze flicker to a singing bird above and he glanced away from her and upward to the noise too. He glanced back to notice her eyes were on him again and he pushed himself to speak, converse. He could work a room, but that room was usually full of strangers and small acquaintances, not daughters who were almost as grown as him that he was meeting for the first time. ”You must be my daughter. I knew Diamonddust. So how is she now? You are, erm, beautiful just like her,” he grinned at Lemon and tilted his head slightly, decided to be sure of his comment and take the chance it being an awkward thing to comment about. Outward beauty meant a lot to Yuri. ”This is Colour Command. It’s my domain, I’m the tyrant here~.” May as well break the news to her. Yuri would have considered it great news that she’d have been a kind of unofficial princess or prince – if Colour Command celebrated such things.
//sorry for lateness and the long reply owo

Yuri arrived slightly late is seemed since paint had already hit the ground and fur. Colour Command did get invited to many paint events and one would think with what practice Yuri had he’d have some great strategy to paint fighting, but he didn’t. He did not deem it a strategic game. Snowball throwing seemed more so – this was a free for all. Yuri fluttered above the Dark Dynasty members and Zenith, but he soon dived down and snatched a small pale of light periwinkle paint. It was a nice color and it probably deserved to be used on a canvased masterpiece, but it was going to go in Dettlaff’s dark fur. The lion was so dark. He could use some color.
Smirked Yuri flew over the well-built male and dumped the pale, taking advantage of his confusion. Only after the paint was falling did the commandite cheer a half-hearted, ”Heads up! This is a war.”
Yuri can be a judge from CC is needed ; otherwise he is just an audience member~

The winged tabby, guided by the soft glow of the jars of frieflies, made his way to the group of small tables and makeshift stage with dainty pawsteps. He announced himself in a gleeful yet soft voice, ”Yuri Muzikant of Colour Command has arrived. I am a judge~” He needed to put his valuable opinion into art and so poetry would do. The hypocrite was unwilling to write and rehearse his own poetry but of course he was all fine with judging other’s.
He heard catch bits of the conversations already happening, one in particular caught his attention solely because of the rich and lively vice speaking. He saw the red wine that Dettlaff had set out and the other’s gathered around the ebony lion’s table: the frosty lion Yuri recently learned was the leader of Wind Haven as well as a boisterous woman that smelled of the Cartel. Yuri placed a foot forward like he was going to move to join that table. Red wine was his favorite and that type of talk was among his favorites too. He stopped however. He saw the image of his daughter seated at another table and he changed his course.
Creeping up beside Lemonwater’s table, he stood to his hind paws and placed his forepaws upon the table. He glanced over her bowl of snacks and drink – noting she wasn’t drinking alcohol. ”Hey, darling,” he purred. She looked extra pretty in the firefly glow. ”Mind if I watch the event at your table?” His magenta eyes shifted to look back towards Dettaff’s table. ”And do you want to come visit with the others?” He hoped to go schmooze with the other group members but return to watch the poetry slam at this calmer table. He waited for her to reply but his body was angled as if eager to go to the others.
