  • OPINIONS ON MY OC'S? || CHARACTER HELP

    I have heard of Cassius and Oliver, of course.


    Personally, with Cassius especially, I love the intimacy he has across the fourth wall (even if he doesn't have the same with others characters). I feel like I've known him for a long while just from the intricate detail put into his posts. Everything about him has a reason, even down to why he wears sunglasses and how the strength of his accent changes with his moods. His backstory just adds to the intimacy; it gives a whole lot of sympathy to him without it being horribly cliched or 'been there, done that'. His history just seems to flesh him out more than anything else could and gives sense to why he is who he is. Plus, his art is fabulous.


    Oliver I know less but I immediately fell in love with him. He's one of those scruffy-haired, supposedly naive adult-children that tugs on your heart strings. Yet, he's got so many layers that I'm not entirely sure I will ever find out his true motive until I'm meant to. He's an adorable evil mastermind and his 'pet dragon demons' just add to the mystification factor surrounding him. I mean, I think I voted him 'Favourite Male OC' in the last KoE choice awards after roleplaying with him in a grand total of two threads. He's genius. I need more Oliver.

  • CHEAP THRILLS - plot with this darling?

    I have a BoneClanner, Holston, looking to further himself. Currently there's a capture contest going on there and I thought maybe he would be able to capture Brooklyn, if you're up for it? But I can imagine them becoming frenemies from it? Holston is quite indignant and a stubborn recluse so I feel like he may end up being annoyingly fond of her.

    Ah so Holston wouldn't do something so harsh without being provoked (yet) so perhaps Tate finds out that Holston's fathers aren't around and taunts him for it? Then he could deliver he has the power in the same thread?

    Would Hayes maybe be open to capture? There's a contest going on in BoneClan and my charrie there is trying to further himself on a bit of a power trip. It can be for however long you want, if you're up for it.

    A spotted paw shuddered as it welcomed the earth beneath it. A breath followed, or two. The cloud of air fleeting in and out of existence before the wind swallowed it up. The wind; oh so strong as it whipped the terrain from Poseidon's kingdom. How superior it thought it was but the land held just as many a secret. Grey eyes rolled in their sockets. How immature, how provocative was the ocean? Dela liked to think she was not so gullible. Not so much.


    Yet, where was she but striding through the shadows of the forest? Her eyes immobile but straining towards the cerulean waves. The hypnotic witch; how dare she? Ah, but didn't the water look luxurious in the present heat? The air warped before her. Temperatures were such obnoxious things, basking in their self-importance. It was a pity they were paid so much attention, damned dictators. A sour expression mimicked her sour thoughts. She was only bitter from the actions (or, rather, lack of) from those blasted pair back home. And where was that, exactly? Home? Far from here. Far, far away beyond the menacing glares of the malachite peaks.


    Her eyes tore away from the enticing blue to the hazy altitudes with a curious myriad of nostalgia and defiance. Obstinacy was a congenital disease in their line, after all. Something displayed best of all by her parents.


    Thoughts of her parents always made her restless. Fidgety eyes fixed forwards, seeming to have decided that this would be the preferred angle, for a little while. As her sight focused, the rest of her senses seemed to trail suit. Dear Zeus! A largely unladylike snort issued from her nostrils as a thick scent clogged her olfactory orafice. Hidden under saline odors, it had done well to disguise itself. Not an entirely unkindly smell, no, but thick. Thick enough to cause her paws to hesitate and subside to a halt. The tropics were more alive than she knew.
