Quickfire had wanted Quantum to come, but she told him that the invite was only for him, and so she elected to stay home. He was a bit upset at this, since they were so close, but it made sense, so he went without her.

Of course, when he saw Peter he grinned and perked up immediately. "Hey Peter! What's up? How's the Radclan?" he asked with a wide grin.

Well, Quickfire and Quantum had set up a low table with cushions all around and a bunch of teapots with varying teas in them. The most common ones -- Earl Grey, Jasmine, Orange Pekoe, and Mint -- were definitely there, as was a fruit tea, and an herbal tea that Quickfire couldn't pronounce or remember. Smaller pots of cream, and bowls of sugar were also present, in case others like their tea with cream and sugar. Quickfire himself took sugar in his tea, but not cream.

The final step was to send out invitations to everyone to join them for the tea party. He'd yet to ask Dustdevil if their allies could come, but he was sure she'd say yes.

Quickfire nodded and smiled a little wider. "That's great to hear! So stoked for you, Peter," he said, and then nodded again. A third round of nodding went to Dustdevil's direction, and then a fourth round went to Malakai when he appeared.

"Yes, hi! Oh, right, um, I'm Quickfire, the War Chief. Er, I guess that'd be like a deputy, or something," he said with a thoughtful frown. "Oh, of Hawkclan, yes," he added at the last second when he realized he'd forgotten to say his clan. With that, he turned to Dustdevil, expecting her to say the first official words of official-ness since it was she who'd called the meeting.

The Quickfire-Quantum duo padded up to the newcomer. A wide grin was splashed on Quickfire's face as he nodded. "Oh, then welcome welcome welcome! Hi, I'm Quickfire, the War Chief, or like, deputy, if you prefer. This here is Quantum, she's also a high position. Excuse her silence, though, she's er, mute," he said apologetically to Bedbugjitters as he introduced his friend. "I like your name, by the way!" the aardwolf added. Mostly because it had 'bug' in it and bugs were his main diet.

Quantum swished her tail in greeting and nodded as she was introduced.

Now, when someone waited at the border, Quickfire was in a good mood when he met them. But when he and Quantum had to track them inside the territory, he wasn't as happy because that meant that they were trespassing.

It took a moment to register that Dustdevil had called Bedbugjitters her mom. But when he did realize this (with Quantum's prompting), his eyes went wide. "Oh! Did you two want a little bit of privacy or something?" he asked, his voice an octave higher than normal.

From what it sounded like, he needed to change the minds of the leader and the deputy to make this go away.

The whole situation that the Blackhearts were going through sounded like it really sucked, though. If something like that happened in Hawkclan, well, Quickfire would be very distraught, to say the least.

Um, my friend's not here right now, but she's a grey wolf named Quantum, so if you see a grey wolf that's probably her. Yeah," he said, as he finished with an apologetic smile.

Judging by what he was sensing through his bond with Quantum, the she-wolf was in their treehouse, sleeping.
