"'Kay, so like, everyone lives in treehouses. There are some that have a short lil' wooden staircase to get to, and others are um... higher up. Most of 'em are connected though, with lil' bridges and stuff. It's fun to climb around and pretend like you're a monkey. Anyways, that one right there, about two-fifths the way up the tree... that one there?" he said as he pointed to one of the treehouses. "That's where me 'n Quantum live. You can swing by anytime. But you won't be able to talk much with Quantum if I'm not there. She's uh... she can't speak, you see. Long story. But she's a good listener! Quickfire nodded, but didn't say anything until Peregrineskies asked who was leading. "Um, Me- I mean, Noodle. Yeah, it's been a very recent change, though. I'm Quickfire, and this is Quantum," he said as he introduced himself, and then his lupine friend. He glanced to Genos, unsure of whether the cyborg-lion-dude wanted to say his own name, or if Quickfire should also introduce him.

Quickfire really liked snow. He didn't know why. Maybe because white seemed like a happy color to him, or something. Or maybe seeing the ground covered in white with white flakes freefalling through the air was just magical. Yeah.

"SNOWBALL FIGHT!" the aardwolf howled loud enough for everyone to hear. He then quickly made a snowball and fired one at Quantum's face, who just barely ducked in time.

He saw Quantum throw one his way, and dashed to the side, but his side got hit with Noodle's snowball instead. "Oh that's cold! It's really cold!" he said quickly as he built some more snowballs and lobbed them at anything that moved. Like Noodle's wings, for instance, and Quantum's rump.

Quickfire heard her loud and clear. "Okay Noo-I mean, Poppinstar. Oh man, that's gonna take some getting used to," he replied, as he mumbled the second sentence. He'd known Noodle as Noodle his whole life. It was weird to think that she'd now be Poppinstar.

Quantum was much better with memorizing names and changing them in her head and everything. Quickfire wished he could be smart like that, sometimes. Okay maybe almost all the time.

Quickfire grinned as he padded over. "Oh! Me! Me! Me! But like, maybe we can build like a snow... cat, or wolf, or something other than a human instead?" the aardwolf barked.

Quantum, on the other hand, just started romping around in the snow, thankful for a thicker coat for once. She was more acclimatized to this colder weather. Actually, maybe a little colder than this, even. She decided to roll around in the snow because why not.

Quantum, bit her lip, unsure since her inability to speak to anyone (except to or through Quickfire) would inhibit her ability to follow through with her new role. Was she the best one for this? Probably not. If it got too much, she might reconsider, but for now the wolf dipped her head in thanks.

He shrugged. "Well, I suppose you'd start with the paws. And I mean, it wouldn't have to be super large. We could also have it in like a seated position, so that the base would be a little more stable, I think," he suggested, as he made the two forepaws. Quantum didn't expect it. She was so focused on dodging Quickfire's shot that she didn't see the pup's snowball until it hit her. She swung around, rolled another snowball, and lobbed it at Callie with a grin.

As Quantum danced around, a snowball splatted on the ground to her left. She turned her head to peer at whatever had thrown in, and saw Mei. A silly grin spread across her face and she bounced over, and tried to shovel some snow onto the cat's back.
