Eyes devoid of emotion swayed to the first person who emerged. The vermillion and black wolf emerged from his shadows, like it was a thick fog that shielded his body from her sight. He was a shadow elemental like herself. She eyed him up and down with her piercing gaze of ice, waiting a long time and not respending to the impolite man. Zarifa found pleasure in testing someone's patience. That was after all what she thought he deserved. Since she had this feeling that she was being spied on for awhile, despite him being coated in shadows. So the alchemist ignored his words with a cold stare, even if he tried to correct himself and sound more polite. She spotted the heart of a thiefling in his self with the way he spoke egoistically and stared unwaveringly at her basket, like he'd want to snatch it any moment.
That wasn't so far from how Zarifa was before, actually. It was like a distant reflection of herself that she saw in him. She put the basket down anyway with confidence, staring at him piercingly in distaste and silence. Afterwards a second rogue appeared. She hadn't met him before either. He was alot more respectful in the alchemist's eyes though. The alchemist also sensed a positive energy emitting from the second rouge, which she felt content about. Just as she was supposed to answer Rockfox's question, her name was already voiced from someonelse's lips. Zarifa's eyes peered at Trashboat, who she of course remembered. "Trashboat," She greeted softly with a nod of her head. She held the other in high regard, because he seemed to be a hardworking and reasonable young individual whom she had met at many different occassions now. Her gaze shifted back to Rockfox again as he complimented her name. "I appreciate your words. What is your name?" She smiled warmly at Rockfox before the smile faded once she looked back at Trashboat.
"I may not stay healthy for long now if Shadow veil drains my blood." She said with a serious tone and brows furrowed softly. She was talking about the kindom's new enemy who was an old ally of theirs. A clan that she had a dual membership with when it had all happened. Zarifa wouldn't be surprised that she would be a target in the war. She had some visions of it. She knew she was seen as a traitor in the eyes of the leader of Shadow veil. "Do you know that we are now at war with Shadow veil?" She would give them an explanation if needed of what had happened to cause such raging hatred between them. As Trashboat continued, she said "I noticed, but it's fine. We have been busy as well with preperaring for war. Also congratulations on your leadership. I believe that is well deserved, Trashboat."

Zarifa flashed Aurum a brief glare before she turned her attention back to Antiigone. "Wonderful. First, drink this." The alchemist unclipped a glass vial filled with milky water and some greens inside, and handed it to the cheerful canine. "It's a simple remedy that helps with dehydration. Water mixed with a little bit of coconut oil. I also added some burnet in there to give a little strength. I know how tough the heat can be."

Zarifa only stared at Hira with a soft expression. She knew that this would be horrible news to her apprentice's ears and Hira was already selfloathing, it almost couldn't have been worse. Zarifa layed on the carpet to come leveling with Hira's height and kept her gaze fixed on the other's face. "Hiraeth, it is going to be fine. You can't get rid of the eye by yourself, but you might be able to fight the demon and claim it one day." Zarifa tried to reassure with her lulling voice. "...What if I told you a story of someone who was in your situation before?" Zarifa gulped nervously, straightening herself up again to a seating position. She hesistated very much about telling her this.

Her head tilted slightly at his answer. "Well, I appreciate the help. And I can wait." She agreed. She wanted to ask if he could grab some of her elixirs in her cottage for her, but proceeded not to. She wouldn't want anyone to lurk by her stuff. What if something crashed? Zarifa would get furious if something did. The only one who had seen the inside of her cottage was Hira, but that had created a havoc as well when the Hira's demon took control and started creating a mess in her home. Besides Aurum had started to trust her now, if he saw the objects in her home, wouldn't he get suspicious again? Zarifa hoped he wouldn't see her home by himself and hoped that she could one day explain to him.
//When he's back he can like start asking her why she would take that tunnel and why she had started panicking so badly, if you want to ^^

Zarifa sprinted to the scene through the barren sands. She had already seen the injured and limp frame of Synesis through a vast distance with her third eye that could see far. Once she stood right by beside Hira and Aurum, she looked sympathetically at Synesis and then at Hira. She watched Hira's every move closely, hoping that her apprentice would handle the situation without flaw. "Tell me if you need assistance, Hiraeth." She said stiffly.

It was early. Zarifa was still working with a new potion elixir in her cottage. She hadn't slept at all this night - she was too engulfed in her alchemic practice to think of sleep. Just as she was about to pour basil oil into a cup of sesame and poppyseeds using her telekinesis abilities, she heard the loud shrieking call of a rooster. The unpleasant noise made her pour a little of the oil outside of the cup and she almost dropped all of the oil. Her eyes narrowed in cold fury. She recognized the call as a rooster. She once had a neighbor who was a rooster. Zarifa put down her ingredients lightly before stomping over to Aurum's home. She understood that was where the noise was coming from with her extra sensory vision. "What in the name of the stars is going on here?" Zarifa said hotly, staring at Aurum. She didn't care that she had just barged right into his home at this moment, besides she noted that Cocoa and Nymeria was here too.

Zarifa wasn't one to go and introduce herself either, but Nymeria was someone the tigress had a stronger image of. She seemed independent and sttrong, Zarifa liked that. Perhaps they could work together closely and Zarifa could find something deep inside the other. So Zarifa advanced towards the large canine and kitsune-feline hybrid with serene grace and a cool expression. "Hello Nymeria," She said before looking to Airis. "And Airis. I am Zarifa Voidance, if you didn't already know. Why don't you two tell me about yourselves?" Zarifa sat down, hoping that they would peak her interest so she had a good reason to not practice alchemy at this moment.

Solarians seemed to dissapear. First Mikael, now Cocoa. Zarifa was not happy about this. Who could be the next one? Zarifa had some visions about this and had an idea about who it would be, but it was something she would keep quiet about. Her eyes narrowed as she came to a halt beside Nymeria and Heide. The alchemist crouched down to smell more of the stale blood before she straightened up again. "Cocoa is the prince of the kingdom, Aurum's adopted son. Innocent and young." Zarifa explained to Nymeria without looking at the direwolf. There was a faint hint of grief in her eyes that were usually just a black hole devoid of feeling.

Zarifa gave an understanding nod after Billie Jean told them about Amalfi Heights. "That is pleasant news. Perhaps I could travel with you there at once then for a brief visit. I do miss the mountains and would gladly learn more about our allies." Zarifa replied. The mystic was curious and always wanted to learn more about other cultures. Also traveling was something she was used to, as a former doctor nomad. Once the petite cat asked about the Solaris Kingdom, Zarifa narrowed her eyes softly into a serious expression. "We are currently at war with Shadow veil. So we are preparing for what will come. Shadow veil were our ally until a stranger who reeked of their scent assaulted two of our childen. Those children were both the prince and the princess, our king's adopted children. War is the result between Solaris kingdom and Shadow veil. There have also been two mysterious dissapearances in the kingdom as well thsat we are trying to find out of."

Zarifa trotted forth and stopped at the dawningcrown's side. Her abstract eyes were fixed on Trashboat and Archangel's faces who she was well familiar with. The alchemist gave a nod of greeting in their direction. She had already congratulated Trashboat on his leadership, but not Archangel. "Congratulations to you as well, Archangel."

Zarifa's attention then shifted to Nymeria who spoke naturally with a commanding voice like her own. Zarifa didn't mind that, in fact she liked the straightforwardness. "Organize and take a patrol with you into various tunnels. Find out which ones are safe. Mark the ones who are unstable with paint. I can join you on this one and don't bring any young people. It can get dangerous." She said. She wouldn't want anyone to get hurt or stuck in the crumbling tunnels again.

Zarifa padded in later after Hira and settled beside her apprentice. The alchemist peered sympatethically up at Aurum, who was unusually sullen and depressed. She wasn't surprised. Cocoa was gone. Mikael was gone. They were in the middle of a war with an old ally of theirs. Zarifa observed him quietly as she waited for the other solarians to arrive.

Zarifa's smile stayed warm as she looked at Rockfox. "Peculiar name. I like it." She said with an approving nod. Archangel joined the scene too. She knew him as well, but didn't have time to greet him. Zarifa was surprised that the rouges would offer their help. It was kind of them, but shocking to the alchemist. She was so used to standing on her own feet that she didn't give a single thought that was what allies' was about - helping each other back. Her eyes widened slightly and blinked at their words of kindness. "That is... highly appreciated. We will make sure to return the kindness." Her abstract eyes fixed on the leader once more as he politely asked for an explanation.
"A stranger who reeked of Shadow veil's scent crossed our border and unexpectedly assaulted two of our children. The children were the prince and the princess, Aurum's adopted children and one of them being an apprentice of mine. The stranger was a cruel and vicious ocelot, going after them like that. We fought back and tried to stop him, but he wouldn't shake off this monstrosity. Afterwards Aurum and I headed to Shadow veil to discuss the event. The leader of Shadow veil was surprised when he explained. She said she didn't know who it was, but there was a mix of honesty and dishonesty in her words. Aurum didn't believe her at all and hurled his fire at their home out of rage and sorrow. Now war is coming." Zarifa said and stared bitterly at the ground. She didn't agree with the way her king had handled the situation, but she would keep quiet about it. She wouldn't want the others to question her loyality to Aurum after all.
"As well as the rest of the kingdom would appreciate help in war, I think I will have to decline. While Aurum may have made up his mind about the Shadow veil, I have not. There is some hidden truth to who that mysterious ocelot was. I was a part of Shadow veil myself and had never seen him before, yet he smelled so strongly of them like he had manipulated his scent. Another weird clue is that their leader spoke so weirdly about him like she did know him, but I know that the rest of them do not. If it somreone's fault here it is the leader's. She seems to be hiding something from us and from her own people." Zarifa's eyes were glossed on deep ponder. Rockfox, Archangel and Trashboat also seemed like they would be open to assist them in different ways. "I think I know of some way you can help us though. I have had some... visions. It is still unclear to me, but it's like puzzles. I think Shadow veil will try to capture me and hold me hostage. If you don't see me coming back here as an ambassador, I would like you to help me get out. It makes sense kind of - I had a dual membership with Shadow veil as well as Solaris Kingdom when it all had happened, so right now I am deemed as a traitor for choosing the kingdom instead of them." Zarifa said hoping they would aid her.

Her eyes darted bewildered in his direction as he moved fluidily towards her. Her body leaned away from him as much as her unmoveable paws would let her. She was a bit scared of what might do to her in her useless state. She closed her eyes as she saw sudden quick movement in the corner of her eye, - thinking that he would now attack her. But instead he cracked the ice that chained her to the ground. She hadn't expected Malcolm to help her, but the way he blinked seductively at her made her believe that he had other intentions. And now came the blame, of course, he wouldn't let her just go. "F-fine." She said briskly with a sharp tone and a skeptical glare on his baby blues.
As he motioned for her to follow, she did but with hesitation in her first steps. Zarifa stayed a bit quiet as he asked of her origin. How was she going to explain that? "I-it does-doesn't matter. I c-can't g-go back to it." She replied after a long pause and stared in sorrow at the ground. The alchemist followed closely behind with her numb paws, not wanting to stop with the fear of her paws freezing again. The sorrow in her abyssal eyes faded as she looked up at him with irritation in her eyes. "I-I ho-hope y-you ha-have a g-g-good reason fo-for taking me wi-with you and tha-that y-you are some k-k-kind of healer." Zarifa stutted with her honeyed voice. Zarifa hoped that she wouldn't get frostbite from this journey.

Zarifa was present. Although not to have fun, but out of unspoken concern for her leader. She was watching him from behind. It was like a grey cloud filled his inner self, darkening the warm sunlight that once radiating from Aurum. It was pitiful and unprofessional in Zarifa's eyes. But she understood his grief greatly inside.
Zarifa's eyes slightly shifted to Trashboat, Synesia and a hawkclanner she didn't know for a moment before it rapidly darted back to Aurum's being again. Taking in and observing him like she was his supervisor.

Zarifa heard flapping sounds above her head and then felt a light weight. She acknowleged the individual on top of her head to be Heide, Mikael's companion. The alchemist didn't mind the bumblee bat and stood still. Zarifa didn't visibly react to the information that Aurum gave. She remained still, eyes hardened and focused. She didn't react either when she got a shoutout or when Mikael was mentioned. Though there was a distant grief in her gaze when Aurum discussed the dark events. As Aurum asked for patrolling volunteers, Zarifa stepped forward with a determined stare. "I volunteer to go the anticlans." She said. "But Aurum, we have to be cautious about the Dark dynasty. They have a strong relationship with Shadow veil and there are some dual memberships. They might even attack us on sight. Let me go alone or at least take someone battlehardened with me." Zarifa glanced sidewards at Airis skeptically through slightly narrowed eyes. The kitsune-feline hybrid seemed like a good-natured individual and like she was ready to help, but Zarifa wouldn't risk having Airis hurt if she wasn't prepared for it. The stare she gave Airis said 'stand down'. "May I suggest a more convenient partner to go with me to the Dark dynasty?" She shifted her gaze back to Aurum again.

She sighed with exhaustion as she heard him skid off. Letting out a breath of uptight air that she usually held in the presence of others. A foible of hers that made her unable to relax around others. She knew very well why she was this way. She didn't trust easily and she was from a distant place that made others feel like strangers to her. She felt like they wouldn't understand her. She felt like she wouldn't be able to connect with someone from this place. An cold emptiness filled her inner ever since she came here and lost her siblings. And now Zarifa's still trying to come to terms with that she can never go back home. Alchemy was just another hobby that helped her to cope and bring back some passion in her void of a heart.
Zarifa closed all her eyes and pressed her cranium gently against the cool surface of the large boulder that seperated her and Aurum. She felt her heartbeat slowed down at the cool and soothing feeling on her head. For what only felt like mere seconds, she rested like this before she heard Aurum's muffled voice. She raised her head and shifted her eyes to the hole again. She saw him push in a bird carcass and a flask of water. She scurried over and downed the water before moving on to chew at the bird's flesh. She listened to him talk as she ate the carcass which she almost finished at once. "...I've been having headaches." She said. "I- the headaches- ...you see I'm not feeling very well if I must admit. It's hard to explain, but I wanted to get out to look at the stars. I feel my energy draining when I can't look up, it reminds me of- nevermind, you wouldn't understand, Aurum." She said with a glum tone and a soft frown of sorrow adorning her golden features.

Zarifa gave an acknowliging nod, however a dissapointed one. She already knew that about Nymeria and had hoped there was something more interesting the direwolf would say. But the direwolf stayed true with her words - she wasn't good with self-summaries. "And what of your family? Has anyone dwelled into the arts of black magic?" The question was a bit random, but Zarifa was impatient and wanted something to spark the conversation, so she could get something out of the queenly and cold figure in front of her. She knew Nymeria was holding back. Just like herself, the direwolf felt distrust around others. When Nymeria asked her about herself, she said curtly "A former apprentice to a kingdom's head physician. Then a doctor nomad and a proud pursuer in alchemy." She didn't want to talk about herself for too long or dwell into her past. It bored her to talk about something she already knew. Why talk about herelf when she could find the mysteries in others.

And by Billie Jean's side was Zarifa.
Zarifa's abstract eyes scrutinized the two individuals that stood in front of her and Billie Jean. The alchemist considered Billie Jean a worthy associate. She was helpful and polite in the tigress' eyes. The alchemist also felt grateful about Billie Jean welcoming Zarifa into the mountains and letting her meet with the Amalfi Heights. After all, Zarifa had a deep yearning to learn more about other cultures and this place was on the list. Her rather colourful eyes was an abyss as she stared calmly at Epiphany and Lemon. A gaze devoid of emotion - quite befitting of her title 'void queen'. The alchemist wasn't impolite however and knew her manners. "Greetings, you two. I am Zarifa Voidance, a sunguard of the Solaris Kingdom." She introduced herself with a cool smile cupping her face.

"I have tried everything my entire life here. Nothing works. You cannot cure homesickness." She groaned, clearly dispirited in her words. She had just given up now at this point. She listened closely he spoke slowly. His words perked up her attention. Her maw opened slightly and her stellary ears flattened against her cranium at his words. His understanding nature had struck her. Zarifa felt her emotions come spilling back into her - it was quite overwhelming. But at the same time it felt good and soothing like it was a mother's embrace. An embrace she never thought she would feel again. Not since she left her home and her siblings dissapeared. Small tears filled the hems of her ethereal eyes. W-why am I crying?
She didn't need to question herself no more. She understood it quickly - it was because he understood. She had wandered this sad rock of a planet for centuries. Trusting no one. Letting no one know how she felt. They were all strangers in her eyes. She had been lonely for far too long. Also the way he spoke- it was like he had taken the words right out of her heart. Zarifa was also interested in how he spoke about his personal experiences. It didn't seem like he was born here either. He seemed homesick as well. Zarifa never thought she would feel this sort of connection with someone from here. Ever since she lost her siblings, she felt so hollow all the time and lost her emotions that once filled her. But the connection she felt - the energy she felt from Aurum... it felt like home. Not that he reminded her of her old home, it just felt like home. Aurum was her new home.
Despite also feeling sorrow from what he told her, she also felt happy to know that she wasn't so different from him. But she also wanted to comfort him. Zarifa stood up and put a delicate forepaw through the hole to reach out for him. While the action might have been a bit sudden to Aurum, Zarifa didn't think too much of it. "Aurum... thank you and I am so sorry." Her voice was brimmed with her soft crying.
