No one ever said it was a good idea, but Ruby had actually jumped in the water of the swan lake, padding out and attempting to swim after the giant white birds so she could hunt them. It was very tiring, much more than she had realized and every time she thought she was getting close the swans just swam farther away (effortlessly mind you). The she-cat let out a loud merowl of frustration, padding faster and effectively getting nowhere fast. |

"Looks like it!" She grinned. Hey, if anything it was a start. Even a few pawsteps closer would be progress! The tortoiseshell took off and started out running on the ice. She was careful trying not to slip and slide or use her powers, but she did feel something kind of funny as she reached the end of the trail. Looking back to her friends, she'd attempt to stand up on her paws and cheer for them to follow along-!
But then she fell through the ice.
Her head bobbed up as quickly as she could, gasping as she splashed her paws around. "I-I'm okay!"
