    Hey gang!

Sooo, the semester just started last week and I took that week to test out and see if I could handle leading, working, and studying all at the same time. Unfortunately, as you might have noticed, it didn't work out very well, lol. So I'm gonna have Bel over here step down. Either roman s. and trash ! can lead together, or one or the other could lead if someone has some extra time. Its up to you guys!

Thank you for being so patient with me and sticking with me while the Exiles grew. I'm glad I had such a friendly group of people to hang out with after my return to the Exiles, and I'm sure I'll be back around again sometime in the future c:

I AM ALL EYES, I AM ALL EARS

This week's meeting was rather straightforward. There wasn't much going on, unfortunately, but Belial expected that to change very soon. The leader went out to the courtyard where meetings were now held, coming to a stop behind his well-furnished podium area. For a moment he flicked his ears and brushed out his fur, before clearing his throat and calling out toward the prison. "It's meeting time, Exiles. Gather out in the courtyard." He had been told recently that one of the previous user used the prison's intercom system for meetings, but Belial was not a fan of that idea. He preferred to look at everybody in the eyes while he gave news. It was an easy way to sniff out traitors. "This week's newcomers are Haakan, Cody and Blackchoir. Welcome to you three." He always said this line with a bit of sarcasm. However, it was a good way to make newcomers feel welcome and hopefully start contributing to clan growth, so he still did it anyways.

"Promotions this week. Hawkmoon is promoted to Vandal, as well as Balthazar. Trash, I would like you to step up to deputy along with Roman. Damion, you can fill his spot as Saboteur. Warnings to Roman and Glasshouse." No demotions, however. Nobody had earned one of those yet, thankfully. Belial hated breaking that kind of news. "If anyone wants to lead raids against Shadowclan, now would be the time. We're letting them build up too much power." The news on Shadowclan was somewhat the same each week, but this time the leader was allowing full-on raids. In fact, they could full-on raid anybody-- they were the Exiles. "The new title system is live. Check out the OOC board for how to earn each title, as none of you are deserving of any this week." That was ominous. Not quite Belial's intentions, but oh well.

"If there are not any questions, I would like Karma to step up here with me, please."

Whatever small scrapes and scars he had received from the little fight with Hawkmoon, he had purposely covered up to the best of his ability. This proved successful, and his once-matted fur was pressed down and smoothed out yet again. It was very much in his personality to hide all signs of damage, and it often led to the leader growing ill or incapacitated without showing it. It was a matter of personal pride. "I guess you probably want to talk about how you tried to claw my face off? And who was that person you were working with? This smells utterly treasonous." He would state with a grimace of disdain as he approached, though as his eyes came upon the clearly hurt Hawkmoon, a pang of sympathy smoothed his expression out somewhat. He supposed she had gotten what was coming to her, but Belial was curious about the situation as a whole and if it was really as bad as it had looked.

Belial had little trust for that Haakan guy-- Angela had warned him once about someone named Helios who matched the other's description almost to a T. He hadn't yet called him out, no. He was saving that for a better time. It wasn't like he was getting much information, anyways, and Belial cared not if his plans got loose into the world. Because, truthfully, the web of his master plan extended too far out and twisted too much for anyone to follow it other than himself. Striding up beside the others, he made no additional movements than a simple nod to each of his clanmates. The leader snorted at the other's comment. Indeed, the Exiles were known for showing up and acting like so-called "wiseguys," especially toward joiners. Finally Belial piped up. "We'll need a name first." He stated bluntly. He didn't really know why that was how things had always worked, as if a name was a foolproof way to keep out fakers and spies. That was just a ridiculous notion.

Belial had thought it was a good idea to have an HP meeting, and he knew it was in good hands being orchestrated by Jaime (or, well, Damion). Coming up between Sofie and Damion in the special room he had picked out for the meeting, The leader continued the trend of not exchanging any words and simply cast an acknowledging gaze toward each of the others. He wondered who would or would not show up to this meeting-- and with the general Exiles meeting coming up very soon, it could be telling toward who was on the chopping block. Though, he hoped that wouldn't be necessary.

Belial gazed between Narukami, Alaksei, and Karma in no particular order, taking in what each had to say. He disregarded Aleksei's comment almost in its entirety, but he did flash his fangs toward Karma, as if signalling him to back off. Of course Belial was not going to be ousting anyone, but if Blizzardclan moved from fighting Shadow Veil to fighting the Exiles, that would be a strategic loss. "Perhaps the peace talks weren't going how they hoped, so they set up a looming threat to rally against." He stated with a shrug. Truthfully, he did not know if an Exiler was behind the attack, and he didn't really care-- but it would be in their interest to diffuse the situation by any means necessary. "I would love to see the scene of the crime. It's been a while since I've been to Blizzardclan." He stated with a snort. In fact, the last time he had been there, he was probably burning down the territory. Or doing something devious, for the matter. Likely not more than several months ago Blizzardclan wouldn't be caught dead leading an Exiler to their territory. Strange how things changed.

Roguemates? Karma had made it rather clear to Belial that he cared little for the other members of the Exiles. So why should Belial care for him and his interests? Did that make him a bad leader? Perhaps, but he was leader, and so being a good one or a bad one made little difference to him. Karma's reaction to his attacks reminded him of the Cipher monster that he had tried his hardest to kill, only further clouding the leader's vision with bloodlust. He almost didn't hear Trash's words-- they sounded like a far off foghorn or whistle, hardly another's voice. And yet, his subconscious mind responded with a slow nod. Just as Karma was slipping out and scratching down his shoulder, Belial would try to hold on to him, keeping his paw pressed down to try to catch hold of the other's leg. If successful he would try and bite down hard, but only hard enough to form a small break in the bone. He spoke no words in response, seeing as Karma's phrases to try to get to him barely registered in his intoxicated brain. Pissing off the leader would, anyways, only spell further doom for his opponent.

"Scents can be easily manipulated." The leader would add as he strolled up, gazing upon the Blizzardclan delegation. He doubted anyone from the Exiles would be attacking Blizzardclan right now-- as much as it pained him to admit it, they were crucial to Belial's plan to take down Shadowclan. If they were now enemies against the Exiles, that would make things incredibly difficult. "Plus, if I am not mistaken, Blizzardclan is warring with Shadow Veil. We, too, have interests in bringing down Shadow Veil. Why would anyone from the Exiles attack you?" He thought it was more likely a Shadowclanner in disguise trying to turn their two-front war into a zero-front war by getting the Exiles and Blizzardclan to attack each other once again. It was one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Things were starting to get back on track now that Glasshouse's safe return was almost guaranteed. Belial was drinking less (well, the normal amount, which was less than he had been drinking lately) and his clan had enjoyed a nice break from the weekly hubbub of the Exiles. That didn't mean, though, that Shadowclan was finished with their efforts-- it seemed quite the opposite, actually. Shadow Veil had been concentrating their efforts on crippling Exiler ranks, kidnapping and killing. The leader shoved his way past Michael and Blackchoir, coming right up to Soft and looking upon him with an analyzing gaze. "What happened? Tell me everything." Yes, Belial had noticed that the other was missing, but he never thought Shadow Veil would be dumb enough to perform yet another kidnapping against the Exiles. They'd have their revenge soon enough, however, and drive those idiots into the mud.

His eyes stared at Karma, as if looking right through him. Thoughts raced, then slowed, then raced again. The leader, however, kept his vision trained on that smirk of his-- it didn't go away, it hardly even twitched. Belial counted to ten in his head, and upon reaching ten, he had had quite enough of looking at the other's grin. "You're playing a dangerous game, Karma. I don't say things without meaning them." It wasn't often he attacked clanmates, so he had to congratulate Karma for being a special kind of pain in the ass. Immediately, the leader launched himself toward Karma, aiming to bowl him over and hold him roughly down against the ground. He glanced back at Trash, hoping the other wouldn't try to intervene. He'd fight the two of them if he had to-- not that he had anything against Trash, in fact he quite liked the other. But Belial was in a fighting mood. It probably had something to do with the liquor.

Meeting time had approached quickly, creeping up on Belial like a damned assailant. The week had taken a visible toll on the leader-- his once confident and serious expression had become tired and worn. "Exiles. It's meeting time." He would call out with less vigour than usual, but still loud enough to hopefully echo throughout the prison. His eyes indicated a loss of sleep, and his matted fur indicated a loss of care.

"This week's newcomers are Michael and Nati. A warm Exiles welcome to the both of them. Let's see what they can do, shall we?" His words were a discordant chorus of sleepiness and apathy. What a horrid demeanor for a leader-- it was no wonder people saw him as a piece of shit. "Promotions are next. Angela and Karma are promoted to Vandal. There are no demotions this week, but if the looming threat motivates you, there might be some next week." He joked with the last sentence, a wry grin coming to his maw. No, he hoped he wouldn't have to demote anyone next week either. He was quite fond of the motivated nature most the Exilers had this week.

"Now. I'm sure many of you have heard that Glasshouse has gone missing. Roman is setting up search parties. Feel free to hold your own as well." He would state, keeping his personal relationships out of this meeting. However, his face contorted slightly with disdain, although hardly noticeable. "There's been misinformation spread around regarding our state with Shadow Veil. I want you to capture their members, hold them hostage, torture them-- we are preparing for an attack, but I want them crippled first." He would clarify, shaking his head. His no-nonsense approach to Shadowclan's hostility was something he thought he had made rather clear. Oh well.

Next, a larger announcement. "Titles are being redone. The Exiles will now have many more titles, each with a rank attached to it that will increase when you hit certain milestones. Saboteurs will be tasked with overseeing the titles and recommending achievers to the leader. So, me, in other words." This would hopefully encourage more Exilers to get out and do fun things-- it was Damion's idea, and thus it had been his hope as well. The details were nearly ironed out completely. "If there are no questions, this meeting is adjourned." Belial would finish finally, hoping his forgetful self hadn't missed a key detail.

An amused snort exited his nostrils as Angela spoke, accompanied with a roll of his emerald eyes. Seeing her perch her paws upon the log, he did the polite thing and sat up properly, scooting over to allow her to join him on the log if she so wished. After all, it did not look so comfortable on the cold ground beside that log. "Good one. But no. You're the talk of the clan, you know." Was she actually the talk of the clan? Who knew-- but Belial heard almost everything that happened within the walls of the prison. Indeed, it was both a blessing and a curse. Sleep was nearly impossible, but he hated sleep anyways. He often heard things he wished he hadn't, however. "Being the largest target in all of Agrelos, well-- I guess it comes with some stress. And leading this pack of misfits is not as easy as it seems." He grinned slightly with his last comment, clearly a joke. Cold as it was, the prison was rather far away. What was Angela even doing out here near the forest? The whole of the clan was an enigma.

Belial's gaze shifted immediately onto Karma, studying him deeply. His eyes were cold and angry, his muscles tense. It seemed as though his mind was working extra hard to understand what the other had said. Finally, he relaxed some, shrugging toward his comment. "Hey, if you want some, you can just ask. Flattery will get you nowhere." He joked, grinning momentarily. Well, Karma looked like he had just spoken the ultimate insult. But Belial wasn't so easily bothered. At least, not normally. This was not a normal occasion, though. "Now wipe that shit-eating grin off your face before I wipe it off for you." He said, shifting back to his tense position and making a face. How exactly Belial felt about Karma he wasn't too sure of at this moment. He did have an opinion, he just couldn't remember it right now. Not that that had anything to do with the alcohol.

As Trash approached, the leader nodded several times, nearly falling over. "See? Someone gets it. Trash you beautiful bastard, how the hell are you?" He would ask, face morphing and contorting when Trash brought up Glass. For a moment he wondered what the hell he was doing sitting around when she was still missing, but he remembered that Roman was orchestrating this whole effort. He knew he could do better-- he wholeheartedly believed it. But not like this. He was too fucked up to go anywhere right now.

Quite the pair indeed. Belial approached with curiosity painting his expression, choosing to stand near Karma. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right? Of course, Karma was not an enemy. Just another person who had a problem with him. "If you have any more of these, keep 'em coming, Angela. We could use more people." He joked, gazing toward Lilith. Had he known a Lilith before? Possibly. But something about the name was very intriguing to the leader, though he couldn't necessarily put his paw on it. "Are you here to visit? Or are you planning on a more extended stay?" He asked, head tilting slightly. The two of them seemed to have known each other for a while. In fact, a long while. Truthfully, Belial missed those he used to know. Damion was one of his older friends, but there were those he had known even before that. There were his ancient comrades from the wars of old. Not that he wished to associate with them once again, he just wished his own history wasn't so lost.
