Almondpaw was perched lazily in a small tree, gazing down at the ground. The apprentice had figured if she was above the ground, maybe others wouldn't be as nosy and wake her up. With her tail hanging down off the branch, Almondpaw put her head down on her paws and closed her eyes. It was rather peaceful up here, with the wind gently blowing through her fur and the leaves. It made a quiet, whistling sound that was rather enjoyable. Almondpaw didn't know why she hadn't thought of this before. Rolling onto her back, Almondpaw stretched out, getting comfortable. If only this could last forever, and no one would come interupt her. That wasn't very realistic, though, as it seemed a lot of the others wanted to jump at the chance to awaken her.

Almondpaw trotted after the male, observing the territory as she went. the farther out they went, the clearer and more trash-free it became. as the apprentice turned the final bend, she smiled. for once. it really was quite beautiful, and she was glad he had chosen this spot. "It's beautiful." she said with a gentle tail flick. she gazed upwards, at the stars glimmering above her. all of this was beautiful. it was absolutely, fantastically, amazing. everything around her, from the stars to the stream, was amazing.

"the stars especially. they seem almost... extra bright tonight."
