Lifting her head, Almondpaw's whiskers twitched in annoyance. Of course, her sister just had to go around talking loudly, and wake her up from her nap. How rude of her, though the fae would never say that aloud. Instead, she simply shook her head, scowled at Amberpaw, then placed her head on her paws. It wasn't like they needed to meet, anyway, as they were sisters. Allowing a yawn to escape her muzzle, she watched her sister through slitted green visionarys. But, she found herself somewhat awake, and unable to fall back asleep. Lashing her tail in annoyance, she growled under her breath. Then, heaving herself to her paws, Almondpaw would pick her way carefully over to the other apprentice. "Almondpaw, you already know me." She muttered crossly.

Well, it looked like it was Almondpaw's turn to host a meet and greet. It wasn't that she particurally wanted to; in fact, she'd much rather be asleep right now. No, the reason she was hosting it was in hopes of meeting someone other than her family. Even though she was asleep half the time, it still got rather boring when you had no friends other than your siblings. Blinking and sqinting from the light, the apprentice stumbled out from where she had been sleeping. "Meet and greet. Over here." She grunted. Almondpaw dropped herself to the ground to wait for others, fighting off sleep. She would look pretty stupid if she was asleep during her meet and greet. And yet, sleep still called to her, tugging at her eyelids... Yawning, she scowled at nowhere in particular, forcing her body to stay awake. Her tail tip churned furiously, though whether from being at angry at not being asleep, or angry that she was trying to sleep, the brown apprentice didn't know. Huffing, she glanced around, a scowl still dancing on her features. Where was everybody? They should be here by now. Any longer, and she'd fall asleep.

Turning to rake her gaze over her brother, her scowl lessened to a simple frown. Clementpaw? Well, at least she could stand him. Some of her other siblings her just downright awful to be around, especially the louder ones. Clementpaw was at least a bit likeable, due to his more quiet nature. Nothing." The fae said, looking slightly annoyed. Or maybe that was her normal face. You couldn't really tell with her, as she spent almost all her time asleep.

Something had woken her up. There must have been a disturbence in the force or something, for Almondpaw never just "woke up". Or maybe it was the sound of others. Oh, she hated it when that happened! Every once in awhile, when she was sleeping lighter than usual, and someone was being loud nearby, it woke her up. Snarling quietly, she glared at whomever it was, and the NPC kit gave a frightened squeak, running off to its mother. 'Serves em right.' She thought, internally pleased with herself. On the outside, however, she was still scowling. Well, better get used to that, since a scowl was one of her main facial expressions. She shifted in her nest and, annoyingly enough, found a twig. Yanking it free of the soft moss, she chucked it out and curled back up, imagining a world without others, a world where she could freely sleep all she wanted to. For once, a smile graced her lips.

She jerked her head slightly, aknowledging her sister's existence. "Hello to you too." She replied, then looked away, frowning at something unseen. Almondpaw was always frowning, scowling, snarling, you name it. It was quite a rare sight to see her smile, and if you did, you might want to take a mental picture, as you might never see it happen again. In fact, for some of those closest to her who hadn't seen her smile, it was hard to picture her looking happy. The majority of the few times she smiled happened during her sleep, where she was probably dreaming about some far-off land where no one but her existed.

Huffing, Almondpaw slipped out of her nest. Yes, that's right. She actually moved. Slowly, one step at a time, the apprentice had slithered out. Now what, you may ask, compelled her to do that? Simple. She was hungry. Flicking her short tail, Almondpaw stalked over towards the food that lay in the center of camp, side-stepping garbage as she went. Boy, did this place need cleaning up! Of course, she wouldn't be doing much cleaning around here, or really around anywhere. Unless she was forced. Reaching the food, she scrutinized it, looking for the cleanest, healthiest, and largest piece she could find. What? The fae was a growing apprentice who needed plenty of food. Besides, it wasn't like she slept all day and ate all day. No, she didn't really eat much, but she made sure to eat at least a little each day. Finding the right piece, the chocolate colored she-cat meandered back towards her nest to eat.

Hissing, Almondpaw swung her head around. Her eyes were well adjusted to the relative darkness of the den, so it didn't take long to spot the perpetrator. Now, if Almondpaw had been a different type of cat, she would have stormed over and probably get beaten up by the other. But, being her lazy self, she didn't get up. Even if she wanted to claw the she-cat's face off. Instead, she took a more calm route, one that didn't seem as if it would cause much physical damage. Much. "The heck was that for?!" Almondpaw spat, glaring daggers. She was wide awake now. I mean, it wasn't everyday somebody woke her up by throwing a twig at her, even with a sister like Amberpaw. Maybe she was over-reacting a tiny bit, but she really didn't care.

Almondpaw, out and about. What a rare sighting. In truth, the fae had slept just a little too long, and when she'd woken up, the apprentice had actually felt well rested. It was all a bit insane, in her opinion. Meeting others, feeling rested. Well, there the chocolate furred child was, reclining in a dark corner. She had gotten oger her laziness just enough to move some of the garbage away, so she didn't have to sit in it. It was almost nice out. As long as no one decided to approach her, that is. It would turn dull and cumbersome real fast if anybody decided they wanted to actually interact with her.
