OOC: In the Mountainclan dark forest plot, there's an apprentice (Mudpaw) that turned over to the side of the dark forest. May I include him in the plot?

Yeah. Although different players should be able to rp each version of the leader, I think.
-
Okay, then. I will have that ready soon...hopefully. This one should be much more organized.

Our first thread had 4372 posts. Let's make this bigger, people!
Let's make this official!(First Thread was started August 2011)
Basic Information
Mountainclan is isolated from all other clans by a day's trek over tall peaks and across streams and rivers, its territory lying near the center of a great mountain range. Mountainclan lives on top a large mountain and lives largely off of fish and birds. They were once part of a tribe, but separated from it to form Mountainclan thousands of moons ago. They now have their own culture and way of life, one that is similar to the beliefs of the clans, one of which they have become, but they have their own unique customs as well.
History
The founders of Mountainclan, according to the lore of the Mountainclan elders, originated from a tribe, an ancient tribe that existed upriver, now long forgotten to the like of cats. It is said that the creator of Mountainclan, a she-cat known to the likes of us as Song, was punished severely for giving food to a group of nomadic travelers in a time of scarcity. Humiliated by her punishment and angry at his tribe's selfishness, Song left the tribe with those whose moral beliefs were similar to hers.
Her group of exiles traveled up the great river by which their tribe resided, attempting to settle many times, but always forced to move on in the end. Finally, after moons of following the river, they came to the great mountains that the cats of Mountainclan see today. They moved far into them, isolating themselves by a days travel from all those who might chase them away. And there they formed Mountainclan, their goal to create a clan that was right, in their eyes, where their old tribe had been wrong.
Uncountable seasons have passed from that time, many challenges have been faced, and Mountainclan still stands as we see it today.Rules (Must Read!)
1. Follow all rules of the WCRPG site, which can be found here.
2. Include everyone. Try to make sure that everyone has a part.
3. Try not to ignore the posts of others. It can be very frustrating.
4. Try to keep it realistic. There shouldn't be any special powers unless they have been bought from the site store or they are part of a plot (at which point they will be decided upon by either myself, Moonraven, or another who has been given permission). Unrealistic characteristics of cat features such as neon eyes or pink fur should not be used.
5. Powerplaying, or injuring/ killing another roleplayer's character without permission, is also not allowed.
6. Plot away! If you're bored, feel free to create a plot or start an adventure. Really big plots can be presented to me, and so long as they don't distract from another big plot, they will be put into affect by me. Get creative!
7. Please try to limit the text talk (Examplestar LOLed). It's a pet-peeve of mine, and I try to keep this thread at least semi-advanced. It's OK in out of character statements, but should not be used in the main roleplay.
8. Try to make this a fun thread, which is indeed its purpose, as is most of WCRPG. Let's make it big!
If you have read this, put a random smiley in your next post. 8)

Mountainclan Territory
Territory

Because Mountainclan has no neighbors within a day's walk, it has a massive territory compared to most other clans. The mountain range on which it exists is a forested area, which consists mostly of pine trees.
The River- A generally calm-flowing body of water with a few rapids, the river was followed upstream by the founders of Mountainclan when they were looking for a place to settle. It is about fifteen fox-lengths wide. It is generally easy to swim across, depending on the area, although it can be quite cold in the early spring and late fall, and can be walked across when it ices over in the winter.
Ice Island- a small island in between a split in the river, named as such because it can be walked to from the mainland when the river ices over. Inhabited mostly by rabbits and chipmunks.
The Meadow- a large patch of native wildflowers and other plants; a great source of herbs.
The Moon Cave-a tunnel that leads deep into Snow Mountain, at the end of which is the mountain's "heart" (a large, glowing, blue gem which the Medicine Cat of Spirits uses to communicate with Starclan).
The Camp-the Mountainclan camp is situated in a series of caves on Pine Mountain.
The Training Clearings- two clearings used to train apprentices in battle.
The Camp
The Mountainclan camp was made on top of a large rock platform, so that it has very little incline, about halfway up Pine Mountain. It is surrounded by trees and undergrowth, which hides it from the view of outsiders, and is usually covered with a thin layer of soil and pine needles. Near the back of the platform, there are a series of tunnels about three quarters of a tail-length in diameter, each of which leads to a series of caves about five tail-lengths into the mountain, which function as the dens and the nursery. The leader's, warriors', and medicine cats' dens are just above the others. There is also a large boulder just above the leader's den, which the leader jumps up onto to hold clan meetings. It is guessed that an ancient underground river that flowed from the snow-melt at the top of the mountain is what carved out the caves and leveled the platform. The platform is about twenty tail-lengths in diameter, and the fresh-kill pile is kept in the center.

Special thanks to: Moonraven, Tigerfrost, Azrael, Valencia, and so many others who made this clan what it is :).
-
Moonfire lifted his head suddenly as the smell of fox reached his nose. He stood, looking in the direction of the smell. No wonder those other cats had left in such a hurry. He leaped from the branch upon which he sat without bothering to climb down the tree, racing towards the smell, the thumping of his paws forming a rhythmic pattern. Oh, how he had missed this.
-
The territory and name should be relevant to each other.
-
Well, the name should be relevant to something about the clan, is what I meant.
-
Moonfire increased his speed (which was outstanding, if he did say so himself) as he began to hear the yowls of cats and the snarls of foxes, dodging around trees as they whirred by him.
-
So do they get nine reincarnations?
-
I call being the medicine cat of herbs, as well as a high (advanced) warrior. And I'm going to start a character as a kit. We should leave about half of the high positions open, though.
-
When life gives you lemons, throw them back and demand pie!
-
Moonfire hurtled without hesitation into what seemed to be a clan camp. He aimed for the remaining fox of the two currently there (the one being fought by Blueflame), pumping his legs as he continued to accelerate. His speed and surprising entrance caught the fox off guard, and it toppled with a deafening yowl as he rammed into it. Slicing at it with his paws, Moonfire rolled away and began to flank it, looking for his next opportunity to pounce.
-
No, Moonraven has the reserved rank of leader, Dawnfire has the reserved rank of deputy (and your cats don't really need to be reserved), but everybody else seems to be pretty inactive right now, so all other spots are open (and I'm creating some new spots, too!). It should be an improvement from this thread (which I did a pretty...different...job of organizing).
-
Moonfire rushed the fox again, rolling under it and slashing at its stomach and rolled away again, another hit and run attack.
-
Moonfire jumped at the fox from behind landing on its back. It snapped viciously at him as he tried to claw his way to its neck.
"Fox...dung..." he hissed at the creature. He figured it was a well enough insult, considering who he was saying it to. -
You have out-lemoned me :(
-
"Why do I have a feeling this will be uncomfortable?" Moonfire muttered to himself as the foxes neck came into focus. He leaped once again, his jaws snapping down on the back of the fox's neck. It writhed and shrieked, causing Moonfire to whirl about, but his jaws stayed locked firmly.
-
You could, but I personally think that over complicates things.
-
True. Like I said, I'm impartial to this issue.
-
Moonfire dug his claws into the fox's back, preventing him from being flung about, but kept his teeth firmly lodged in the creature's neck.
