Special thanks to: Moonraven, Tigerfrost, Azrael, Valencia, and so many others who made this clan what it is :).

Moonfire lifted his head suddenly as the smell of fox reached his nose. He stood, looking in the direction of the smell. No wonder those other cats had left in such a hurry. He leaped from the branch upon which he sat without bothering to climb down the tree, racing towards the smell, the thumping of his paws forming a rhythmic pattern. Oh, how he had missed this.

Moonfire hurtled without hesitation into what seemed to be a clan camp. He aimed for the remaining fox of the two currently there (the one being fought by Blueflame), pumping his legs as he continued to accelerate. His speed and surprising entrance caught the fox off guard, and it toppled with a deafening yowl as he rammed into it. Slicing at it with his paws, Moonfire rolled away and began to flank it, looking for his next opportunity to pounce.

Moonfire jumped at the fox from behind landing on its back. It snapped viciously at him as he tried to claw his way to its neck.
"Fox...dung..." he hissed at the creature. He figured it was a well enough insult, considering who he was saying it to.

"Why do I have a feeling this will be uncomfortable?" Moonfire muttered to himself as the foxes neck came into focus. He leaped once again, his jaws snapping down on the back of the fox's neck. It writhed and shrieked, causing Moonfire to whirl about, but his jaws stayed locked firmly.
