Ruby tranformed into the biggest Wolf she could and howled, teeth bared at the guy who was stepping on Everest "Get. Off. My. PUPPY!" she growled, jumping at him "I know what you are." she growled in a whisper, trying to hold him down, she was only the size of a one year old wolf, Tundra howled, Silver couldn't have stood by and let Everest get hurt, the husky had crawled on his side, yelping in pain "How'd you like it if you were treated like him!" she growled, she was able to stop herself from doing danger to him, she saw Everest vomit "Eve- Everest!" she yelped, jumping of the enhanced human and slowly crawling over to her friend "Everest!" she barked, nuzzling him, she was scared for his sake, she nuzzled him, Tundra crawled over as well, and howled again, Silver's eyes were welling up, she hadn't realised she was shifting through each of her forms, one by one, she had her nose buried in Everest's fur, he'd never had any pressure on his stomach before. The girl even shifted into her human form, going through back to husky, the very first she'd learnt other than human, Everest barked something "You're okay, I know you are!" she cried in a bark. Silver turned to the guy, tears streaming down her face as she growled "You did this!" she wasn't able to speak in English, shifting into a Gray wolf, unsure whether she could keep the form, she picked Everest up by his scruff, she shook his head, able to get on his paws. Silver shifted into a Fennec, she knew he was after her, the way he treated Everest, she expected he though the husky was her "I left my home to escape the likes of you! I was betrayed by my relatives! I didn't come here to be hunted down! I came here to learn how to use my powers!" she growled, though still sounding dog like, she choked out the words in English, she shifted into a human, tears rolling down her cheeks "You do not hurt my friends!" she shouted, a surprising amount of force behind it, Tundra was pushing her back, Everest staying in front of both.

The beta female growled, something felt very wrong, the forest was a friend at the best of times, and an enemy at the worst, this was the worst, though the pack had no pups, these dogs were bad news, she closed her eyes, being absorbed into the scents, closing out everything else, she laid on her side, trying to single out any scent at all, nothing but the scent of pack... A sweeter scent in amongst it pup? she questioned, trotting over to dancer she asked "Before I joined the pack, I don't suppose there were any pups here?" she asked, her head dipping to Dancer.

Silver nodded, bending down she sniffed the dogs' collars, immediately catching the scent she growled "Sorry, force of habit, usually Long-Paws I hunt aren't nice to other Long-Paws and have to be put in cages." she sighed, another memory of her Long-Paw that wouldn't happen again, she beckoned the other leashed-dogs with her tail, following the faint trail. She stopped, the trail ended, the Boston Terriers' Long-Paws should be near.

Silver heard a sharp yelp from Everest, she turned, eyes wide with shock and anger, she growled in a low, deep snarl, shifting into a wolf, Tundra tried to stop her but Ruby growled to her, she backed off and barked something along the lines of "This is her fight." the white she-wolf leapt onto the guy, he claws likely to peice his skin "I said GET. OFF. MY. PUPPY!" she snarled low, she never took her eyes off the guy who had kicked her dog, she kept her underbelly as guarded as she could, her eyes full of pure hatred "You think because we're different that makes us evil, bad and monsters?" she asked, her voice wavering "Next time you get a call, look in the mirror. You're the real monsters." her growl was less of a threat but an injured plead "you attacked my friend, the only one I had coming here, from Britain, I've lost enough to you *rseholes, I'm not going to loose him too!" she tried to hold him down, Grey Wolves were the heaviest species alive of canidea alive, she howled deeply and throatily, as soon a a scent hit the air, Tundra followed shortly, it was sorrowful and tears brimmed the girl's eyes she still didn't take her eyes of the intruder, even as the tears began to fall, Everest didn't move, didn't join in the howl. He was dead. Tundra growled, the fully grown she-wolf licked the tears from Silver's cheek then helped hold the guy down "You've killed him. Y-you killed Everest... You aren't leaving until you've paid!" Ruby cried she was visibly about to collapse, she shifted into a human, wobbling a bit before passing-out, she was still pining him down, Tundra yelped, calling someone over to help. -

Ruby's eyed snapped open "Everest!" she yelled, immediately sitting up, she spotted her friend "No..." she whispered, she stood, a little wobbly. Tundra yelped, going to Silver's side "He wasn't even an adult yet..." she whimpered, talking to Tundra she shifted into a Husky and slowly walked to her dead friend's side, she buried her muzzle in his fur again, whispering comfort to him, or possibly herself, she sighed, tears welling up, trotting to a tree, cherry blossom to be exact, she was faintly aware that the other two were still there, but the grief prevented her from taking any notice, Tundra's fur pressed to her side, they began to dig together, a grave for Everest, something about her fur felt a little strange, she looked over her shoulder, a patch of light grey fur had replaced the pure white, nothing else happened, she didn't switch her focus, nothing could "You were my only friend till I came here." she whimpered in canidae speak, one of the few that only canines know, she felt tears roll down her fur again, she only faintly heard Tundra bark "It's deep enough for him now." Silver nodded, she'd never liked the thought of out living her dogs, she knew she would eventually, but never like this. Tundra was the stronger one, she carried most of his weight, Silver and the wolf laid their friend in the grave and began to cover it. Her heart heavy, her tears wetted the soil as she and Tundra ran to the safety of the School building; she became a Fennec and Tundra picked her up by the scruff, Ruby's eyes closed, she couldn't look around, all she wanted to do was lay in a dog bed, not something she was known for liking to do, she wanted to lay in Everest's bed to feel close to him, Tundra growled, making Ruby open her eyes, the blue orbs glanced at the guy who killed Everest, she tried to wriggle out of Tundra's grip, but the wolf growled, in a gentle voice "He's not worth it."
Silver growled back "He KILLED him! He killed Everest..." tears began to fall again,
Tundra whimpered in return "I know, but killing him would make you just as bad."
Silver growled, hatred like fire in her eyes "He doesn't even deserve to breath."
"I know how you feel, Silver, my pack was torn apart from the inside out when I wasn't much older than Everest, I vowed revenge, my father made me promise not to do anything stupid. Everest would've wanted you to promise the same." Tundra barked
The Fennec sighed "You're right, Tundra he's not worth it, Everest wouldn't have wanted me to act like this." she hadn't realised it was in human language that she spoke, Tundra seemed to understand and shot the guy a wary look, walking up to Charlie. -

Tundra dropped Ruby, sure she wouldn't do anything Everest wouldn't be proud of, then the two walked up beside Charlie again "I came to America to leave the troubles of the Extremists behind." she sighed "He's an Enhanced human, in other words, a man-made mutant..." her head spun, she'd only heard rumors of them, but she'd seen it herself now "Back in England, people were talking of rumours that some of the Extremists were 'upgrading' people, turning them into mutants that aren't mutants. It's stupid, if they hate us so much, why make more." her ears flicking, Tundra had laid her tail on top of Ruby's back "We buried him, he was so young... Wouldn't have been much older than me, if he were a human." she sighed "I'm going to get some Ice-Cream. Cookie Dough is good." she tried to smile, but couldn't, she left Tundra to help Charlie and took some Ice-Cream from the freezer, cookie dough like she wanted.
Tundra nodded to Silver, she was careful to grab the jacket on him, and began to drag she barked to Charlie, and took him into the basement, there was a cage there, for Tundra when she'd first became Ruby's pet, to make sure no accidents happened, it would be big enough for the guy. -

Silver came down into the basement with the tub of Ice-Cream, cookie dough all around her mouth as se stuffed in another spoonful "Doesn't the bars have something like a minor electric field to prevent mutant or man made powers? Or is it just the cage Tundra- Oh well, whichever, he can't escape." she sighed, taking another spoonful, her hood was up, something she didn't usually do, Tundra trotted back to Silver's side "I know you feel guilty about him going in there, but it's so he doesn't try to kill me." she sighed, in human, she figured Charlie would want to know how Tundra felt about the cage, she then placed the tub on the floor and shifted into a red fox and began to eat it faster. -
Ruby shook her head "Yeah, cause he's going to tell us everything about the people he works for without any true reason to." her tone was sharp and sarcastic, she felt bad after "Sorry, only morning and I feel like sh*t." she sighed, she wasn't known to swear, unless very minor, in other words, she sticks to cr*p and *rse. Silver sighed "I'm getting outta this room, I'm not going to stay near that murderer." her tone was harsh as she went up the steps, her hands shaky she sighed, going into the ladies bathroom, she looked in the mirror then washed her face "Everest..." she sighed, taking out her phone she sat in a corner and flicked through the pictures she had of him, Tundra and herself. She felt tears welling up again, she wiped them away "I have to be strong." she murmured "For him."
