Felix rolled his eyes, a small smirk etched in his features, "I don't know what made you think I had a busy schedule." He said, turning around, "I will stay." Felix began to walk through the kitchen, down a hall that lead to the stairs.
He made his way up to the second floor, turning into the first room on the right. His hand reached for the knob and opened the door with a faint creak. He walked over to the queen sized bed, turning on the lamp at the wooden table at its side.
"There is a shower, but I'd recommend taking one in the morning. It is going to get cool tonight, I'd rather you didn't get ill." Felix said as he furled back the sheets. He walked around to the other side of the bed and paused, glancing down at the blood on his shirt.
He slipped the clothing off over his head and tossed it aside before he made himself comfortable on top of the sheets, leaning against the headboard of the bed as his eyes rested on her expectantly, "If you get cold, I can get some extra sheets from the closet."

Felix watched her inch closer, though he didn't make any attempt to move away. He felt his skin get hot at their closeness, and he shifted his weight ever so slightly to a more comfortable position, smiling lightly at her words.
"Hm, interesting. I don't normally sleep with anyone, so I wouldn't know."
Felix's gaze rested on her face, "Not that I really sleep, though I do enjoy laying down every now and then." He continued, focusing back on her as he fell into silence again. He thought about turning out the light, but something kept him from doing so for the moment.
Felix slowly reached out his hand and traced around her bottom lip with his thumb, running it down the curve of her chin. He leaned over so his face was hovering just over hers, his hand lingering at the base of her jaw, "What do you dream about, Katie?" He asked, his eyes glinting ever so slightly with curiosity at the question, and perhaps with a faint inner desire that was shielded through his guarded words. -
Felix listened, watching her as she spoke. His lip curled downward at the mention of whom could only be her father. It was a warning when someone in the world haunted a person so much it perturbed their dreams...
He brought an arm beneath her and gingerly pulled her just close enough that she was against him. "There is no need to worry about him anymore. No one will lay a hand on you again. I'll be sure of it." He consoled.
Her father was the least of his worries, as long as he didn't contact anymore demon killers anytime soon... However, if it wasn't her father, it would be something else that wanted her soul, or to kill him for one reason or another, or something of the sort. Still, he wouldn't let her get hurt again. She didn't deserve it, and she certainly didn't deserve having to live through the strife that came with him. Even though he knew this, he couldn't bring himself to let her go. As selfish as it was, he couldn't bear the idea of going back to the silence that had brainwashed him for so long.
There was a sense of protectiveness in him that he hadn't quite noticed before. Sure, he had always been loyal to his word, but it was always for something in exchange. There was no reason this should be any different for all he knew. But it was.
Felix leaned down and pressed his lips to the top of her head lightly, lingering for a brief moment before pulling away enough to whisper in a low voice, "Get some sleep, it's late." -
(it's okay! :) )Felix watched her gradually fall asleep, hoping that she would find some rest, as tomorrow would bring another busy day under its tail.
He didn't leave her side during the night. Every now and then, he would get up to look around the cabin, a force of habit he had acquired for obvious reasons, though he returned to Katie every time. He had promised to stay by her, so that he did. It wasn't until late that morning that he finally got up to prepare for the day.
Felix walked across the room, into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. He took a quick shower, feeling more like himself as he got out and slipped back into his jeans. It would have been nice to have an extra pair of clothes, but until Zero got here, it seemed they were going to have to wait. He walked back out into the room, his eyes stopping on Katie whom he assumed was still asleep by the looks of it. He went over to the window and looked out to the sunlight that showered through the trees. At least it was a decent day outside. -
Felix smirked, watching her struggle to overcome her apparent fatigue. "If you want, I could carry you out of bed." He teased. "There is no rush really. I can't say our schedule is all that booked today." Felix spoke honestly, walking over to the side of the bed.
"Zero should be on his way over, though he did say he had to make some stops of the way."
Felix stretched out his arms, looking at her for another brief moment before he walked out of the room to let her be. He walked downstairs and made himself comfortable in the sunlight, feeling the warmth seep into his skin. His eyes looked put into the distance, scanning in a pensive manner as he thought of what they might be able to do for the rest of the afternoon.(Sorry it's short, I'm using my phone so if there are any mistakes I apologize for that too )

(Okay, got my computer working again. :P )
Felix leaned against the windowsill downstairs that looked out into the trees. It was a familiar sight, even if it wasn't the same window.
After all of the years he spent living in the seclusion, he still didn't mind the view. He turned his attention to the sound of footsteps, and watched as Katie walked down the stairs. It didn't seem she was much of a morning person; he smiled. "I was starting to think that you were sick." He joked, folding his arms lightly across his chest, "It is good to see you got some sleep. I'm sorry things are always so tiring around here..."
"We have some time until Zero gets here. I assume you're probably hungry, is there anything particular you'd favor to eat?" Felix asked as he sat up and approached her at the bottom of the staircase. -
Felix nodded, and thought about her question for a moment. He shrugged lightly, "It isn't so weird after a while. Even though I don't have to, I could eat if I wanted. But it isn't satisfying anymore. There is no getting full, it's just kind of there if that makes sense." He replied, trying to recall the last thing he ate. No memory of course. It was too long ago to even bother anyway. Anything that had to do with mortality in him had disappeared long ago. At least, almost everything...
He stepped into the kitchen and glanced in the fridge. To his surprise, it was actually filled with various products, from fruit, dairy, even meats. It seemed Zero wasn't always alone when he came out here. Felix grabbed a container of eggs and some sausage as he began rummaging through the cabinets for a pan.
He started the stove and cracked several eggs into it, listening to the sizzle of the heat as he scrambled the eggs. It had been so long since he cooked anything, but it felt like it was just yesterday since he had last served breakfast to his family, when they had actually been one. Felix glanced over to Katie, "I haven't cooked for anyone for two centuries." He said, seasoning the eggs with pepper, salt, and a handful of shredded cheese. "So no promises of a five star breakfast." -
Haha, yeah, she is pretty cute :)
Dominic watched as Ansel was taken away in an ambulance. The only thing left of the scene was the blood smeared on the street.
He felt Crystal's tense atmosphere, and he reminded himself she wasn't used to this kind of thing. It wasn't an everyday occurrence from where she came. "It's alright, he'll be okay." Dominic reassured her.
Dominic did feel a prick of anger in the back of his neck. Killian was digging himself a deep hole, and Dominic was sure he wouldn't see the light of day again the next time they met. "I won't let anyone hurt you like that. You're safe with me." He added, sending a glance over to Declan whom nodded in approval to his statement."Trust his words. He is one of the strongest people I know. If anyone can keep Killian at bay, it's Dom." Declan affirmed, looking around slowly, "We should get out of here for now though. We don't want to be caught by any watching eyes."
-
Felix's eyes flashed from the pan to her for a moment, a small grin appearing at the corner of his lips, "The nineteenth century? Well, everything was always changing. The train, and steam boats were invented, as well as the typewriter, the light-bulb. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated... Anyway, it wasn't so easy; certainly easier to adapt then, but things were just starting to develop economically. The depression hit, the banks shut down, and that shook everyone up for a while." He recalled as he placed the food on a plate and presented it to her with silverware, his eyes resting on her face, "However, I will say I miss the simplicity of the age. No one was always in anyone else's life- or trying to end it every other time the chance landed at their doorstep."
Felix turned off of the stove, leaning against the counter, angling his head slightly as he continued to look her way, "Not that I mind, but why did you ask?" He asked with slight curiosity at her apparent interest.
-
(it's okay! Sounds like so much fun :P I should probably get started on math homework haha. Algebra 2 kills; considering I suck at anything math related.)
Felix smirked at the comparison, as well as her apparent enthusiasm, "I feel sorry for history books then." He muttered, cracking his hands lightly before he started to wash off the egg from his hands. He shifted his weight slightly as he looked at her, trying to figure out if she was being serious or not, "I never thought I exactly came across as a cook, either." Felix joked, flicking water off of his hands onto her from over the counter.
-
Dominic nodded, "Good," He muttered, although he didn't quite know why she did. Either she was more naïve than he originally thought, or knew she didn't really have any other choice than to trust him. Either way, it seemed they would have to stick together until things settled down again, no matter whether trust was involved or not.
"We should go see Archer." Dominic suggested to Declan."Yeah, he probably knows where they are hiding by now." Declan agreed, "Ansel won't be released until he is recovered, and someone claims him. We have at least a few days until then."
Dominic looked down to Crystal, "Do you need anything else before we go?" He asked.
-
Felix looked at her with a flat expression, although it didn't last long. A few quiet broken breaths left his parted, smiling lips in what seemed to be a chuckle, which slowly turned into a pure hearted laugh.
"I guess this means I'm not so great anymore, huh?" He said between breaths, shaking his head. Felix straightened himself out, a genuine smile splayed on his face as he folded his arms contentedly across his chest, not seeming the least bit taken back by her threat, "I will say that was fairly amusing. Your frustration is rather cute; you'd best be careful, you're tempting me to do it again." -
Felix snickered, "Take it as a compliment, it's not everyday I call just any cat cute." He pointed out. A wry simper slipped onto his face as he made his way over to her, sure to keep his steps unnaturally light on the wooden floor as he bent down behind her.
One of his arms wrapped around her back as the other wound itself under her folded legs as he lifted her from the floor into his arms, "Well, I guess I'll have to toss you out into the forest like the last feline that crossed paths with the great, friendless Felix." He spoke aloud in a playfully dignified manner as he began walking around the sofa. "Too bad, I was starting to actually like you." He finished with a grin as his arms extended her out, away from his body slightly. Felix let her drop, though she would land neatly on the couch below rather than the floor. -
The smirk quickly diminished from his face and he caught the pillow, "Are books better than pillow-fighting demons?" He asked defensively, approaching slowly.
Felix's brow raised at the mention of Zero, and he stopped in his advance, glancing away, "I don't see what he could possibly provide that I couldn't. I could buy you your own library, if that's what you really wanted." He said, his voice tinted slightly in offense at her analogy. Felix leaned down and looked at her for a minute before he made himself comfortable on the pillow he had placed on top of her, though he was careful not to put all of his weight on her at once by supporting himself with his elbows on the back of the couch. "Take it back, or you'll be stuck for a while- believe me when I say I could sit here forever." -
It was obvious Felix was pleased as he watched her struggle, a casual gleam cast on his face as he easily kept himself situated.
"You're one to talk." He retorted with a snarky grin at her reference.
Felix adjusted only slightly enough to allow himself to lean down. The corner of his lip rose slightly at her obstinate attitude. "I am afraid you'll have to make an exception this time, or you will have to find out what it means to defy a demon." His voice dropped half of an octave towards the end of his sentence and a vague sense rested within his tone, though it was merely of tease. (sorry it's so short, .-. I'm living off of three hours of sleep; my brain is dead ha) -
Felix grunted at her confidence, shaking his head in disapproval, "Funny, for all you know, I could be your worst," he paused mid-sentence. His attention diverted towards the front of the house and he was off of Katie at the back end of the room in less than the blink of an eye.
Zero stood leaning against the doorway, a smirk plastered on his face, "Don't mind me, I would hate to interrupt." He insisted with a wry gleam.
Felix's lip twitched slightly at his statement, "You could have announced yourself." He muttered, flashing him an irritant glare.
Zero sat up from the doorframe and walked in, shutting the door with his heel, "I could have- however, I like to make an entrance." He made his way over to the room and stood between the two of them, glancing between Katie and him. Zero leaned over towards Katie, and whispered in a low voice, "A demon who is afraid of cats must be really intimidating."
Felix breathed out a small growl of frustration, wondering just how long Zero had been there watching as witness, "Don't need the commentary, thanks. Besides, I'm not afraid of cats; they are a weakness." He corrected defensively.
Zero looked over to Katie, his eyes glinting slightly, "Oh, I already knew that."
-
Felix folded his arms across his chest at seeing where she was going with this. His eyes flickered faintly as his lips pressed together into a thin line and his brows flicked up as he watched her glide over. He wasn't quite sure he had expected even Katie to go this far, as she had never really seemed one to be so bold. In any other situation, he would have found it alluring, but played against him, it brought about a different side.
Zero noticed the gradual change, and reinforced her play by wrapping is arm around her back and pulling her in closer, "I wish I could have come sooner," He said with a sly grin.
Felix grimaced, "Cut it out." He warned, unaware for himself as to why he felt the sudden urge to take what was his. 'What the hell?' Felix internally disapproved of his own instincts, but he still felt the same way. The urgency only grew stronger as he stood by and waited.
Zero raised a brow, tilting his head slightly, "Is something wrong?" He asked, stifling a laugh. He hadn't seen Felix like this since, well, ever.
Felix looked confused for a second, as though second guessing himself. The momentary doubt quickly faded to vexation, "Let her go."
Zero shrugged, "I would, but she is the one who came to me." He pointed out unnecessarily. "I think you're just,-"
Felix didn't wait to hear the end of it, despite his logical thought processes screaming at him, he couldn't help himself as he lunged forwards. It was so easy, so natural, so ridiculous. Even as he did so, Felix knew that he was being irrational, and yet something from somewhere deep inside of him was telling him that it was necessary.
Zero separated himself from Katie, allowing Felix to go through the gap between them as he skidded to a halt a few feet from the adjacent wall. "I'm impressed." He said in mock surprise, looking over to Katie, "You've surpassed me enough to get him to turn on me. Thanks."

Haha! I am about to do the same thing myself! Sleep well!

At a first glance, Rayk may seem one-sided, though he is truly a dynamic character. Typically, he is a bit withdrawn, yet not in the sense that it comes across as though he is trying to be ignorant to those around him. In fact, there is a certain hint of magnetism that comes with his charming ability to read the faces of those around him. His subtleness brings a sense of calm with his presence, and it is easy to see that there is an inner possession of intuition.
Despite his laid back atmosphere, he tends to be a bit obsessive, which sometimes forces him to keep secrets. Though he doesn't admit it, he is easy to get jealous- a darker side of his protective nature. At times he struggles to control his emotional boundaries and if he feels he is being pressured he may lose composure and lash out. Rayk doesn't take failure very well, and finds it difficult to forgive himself if he falters.
A few of his greatest assets are his determination, which he uses to help overcome his somewhat demanding urges, and his ability of rhetoric skills can be very persuasive if need be. He also is very loyal and surprisingly patient; he would do anything to keep his word and is always willing to live hard.
нιѕтσяу: Though he tends to keep to himself and observe from afar, he was always fond of exploring new ways to see the worlds. Rayk is known by many of the neighboring constellations, and never really had much of any reason for spite. When the others began disappearing, he started to fear for the rest of their lives and was convinced that someone was behind it. That's when he decided to find out for himself, and joined the others on Earth; the place he hadn't returned to for several decades.
