"Me neither," Leaf-fang sighed with relief. It was always so hard to talk to cats that were fearing for other's lives. "I wonder if the forest will ever be the same again, I don't recall there ever being a time when cats from EVERY clan fought against just one. The odds against Bloodclan is staggering! What do you think?"

Leaf-fang nodded slowly upon hearing Sprinklesong's reply. He looked up as Quicktail joined them. "Hi Quicktail, we were just discussing the battle with Blo--" Leaf-fang stopped himself quickly. "First, is there anybody out in the battle that you are particularly close with?" He questioned, cautiously.

This is it. Lightclaw flung herself into the battle without another thought. Her foot falls crunched in the snow as she advanced towards the Bloodclan warriors. She jumped up, her paws were high in the air, claws unsheathed. Not knowing where she would land, she glanced below her to see a large mass of a cat that was unfamiliar to her.

"Great!" Leafkit smiled brightly, glad that for once all his siblings agreed on ONE thing. Looking around, he noticed that all the warriors were busy talking amongst themselves about the battle with Bloodclan. Nobody would ask for a kit's opinion so they wouldn't be noticed. Amberembers and Muddyclaw had decided that they should give their kits a little bit of independence since they no longer needed to be watched over when they played. "Our mother would definitely notice when we don't return to the nursery at night so we'll have to go and come back before then." Leafkit thought out loud, "We should leave now so we'll have lots of time to play!" He concluded.

"Okay, good." Leaf-fang once more sighed, relieved. "We were just discussing the battle with Bloodclan, you know how emotional some cats can get when someone they're close to is involved. Totally understandably behavior of course, but you can never have a real discussion with them. So, what's your opinion on the battle?"

Turquoisepaw burst into the apprentice's den shivering with cold. You could hardly see her pelt for she was almost a walking snowball, shaking herself she muttered "It's really picking up out there, the snow is starting to come heavily" She glanced up to see the den was filled with apprentices. Blinking and after a moments pause she said with chattering teeth, "Well, hey there!"

"True, true." Leaf-fang nodded, appreciating the optimism his clan mates had. His eyes soon wondered to the heavens above where snow was still coming down heavily. "This'll sure make the battle harder on them." He said, commenting on the incredibly bad timing of mother nature.

"I'll lead!" Leafkit volunteered excitedly. With another quick glance around he slowly started to make his way to the edge of camp. His heart was pounding hard in his chest, I finally get to see the forest He paused to see if anyone was going to question him, but everyone was too busy discussing the battle. Grinning, he thought, this is going to the best adventure ever! No one will even notice we're missing!" With that comforting thought he ran across into the trees and hid behind a particularly large rock that could easily cover 4 kits. Cautiously, he poked his head over top of the stone to see if his siblings were following.

Lightclaw finally joined in on the fight, she saw Larchbranch taking on Bonestar himself. She decided to give him a hand. Slowly Lightclaw started to advance on Bonestar, carefully she aimed a blow to Bonestar's hindquarters.

Darc awoke with the sun's powerful rays in his sensitive eyes. With a yowl he struggled to get away, blindly he smashed into one of the sides of his box. Angrily, he unsheathed his claws and slashed the box, Stupid box, think you can get the best of me? He looked around to see if of the other cats had been awoken by his actions.

Leafkit smiled as Petalkit, and Rotkit made their way towards him, then he peaked over the rock again to see Mosskit all alone inside the camp. "C'mon Mosskit!" Leafkit called in a hushed voice hoping that his impatient voice only carried over to his sibling. "We can't start without you!"

"We should go find shelter Or return to our camps so the injured cats can get the medical attention." Lightclaw suggested limping slightly. Her gaze went up towards the heavens "We should hurry, it doesn't look like the snow is going to let up." Lightclaw glanced at Mythsong to see if she approved.
