Venomstrike's heart fluttered and her stomach did flips when she felt him touch her, but she mentally cursed when he actually did ask her for the truth. What was she supposed to tell him? How could she tell him anything truthful without telling him how fond she was of him? Without even realizing it, Venomstrike was still standing up and she was staring intensely at Icestar. She didn't meant to, she just did it.

Clearing her throat, she sat down a few paw lengths away from him. Not too close, but too far. She let the silence continue, it was awkward for her but she suspected that it could be awkward for him too.

"Have you ever had to tell someone you care about a very important secret?"

She asked, the question was just a precaution. Venomstrike needed to see how the tom would react to the question, plus it bought her more time to think.

Venomstrike gave him a ghost of a sympathic look. She could only guess the pressure on him at that time. Should she say that she was sorry? Did he even want any sympathy? It was probably many moons ago that it had happened. She didn't want him to relive any bad memories so she decided to move on without saying anything. Hopefully her expression could comfort Icestar.

"I.. you see.."

Venomstrike huffed, how was she going to do this? She dug her claws into the soft ground and she took a deep breath. She planned to just say it, get it over with. If he rejects her, she can mope about it later.

"I like you, Icestar, like [i]like you and I don't know if you have the same feelings towards me, I mean that's fine if you don't. Completely fine, I understand, but I was thinking that we have a year between us and usually cats seek.. mates.. around their age and you know how one can feel when they realize they can't have the cat that they.. like. So it was just that. Not a big deal or anything, ah.."

She didn't even know what she said, she was going that fast. She had to go fast or she would have backed out of it and kept her mouth shut. It felt like every part of her body was on fire, her ears especially. She tried to
keep eye contact as she waited for the tom's answer but she couldn't. So, she looked just above his head at the swaying trees.

"You do this thing to me, you make me act like a cat I'm not. I'm usually calm and collected, but around you.. it's just.."

She trailed off, frankly, Venomstrike didn't know why she said the last part. But it was true. Even when someone merely mentioned the Leader's name her heart would jump. She wasn't a lovey type of cat at all, she liked to be alone.

Slatemark padded swiftly back into camp, his mouth full with two voles hanging from it. He set them down on the fresh-kill pile but took one for himself and decided to eat a few pawlengths from the middle of the camp. His eyes wandered lazily around his clan mates. Until he saw Mapleheart.

"How's it going, Mapleheart?"

He called over to her, he hasn't took a bite of his vole yet. Not until the she-cat would answer.

Venomstrike held her breath, her ears flicked in Icestar's direction. She, at that time, realized she liked the way he said her name. She also thought that it was stupid thing to think about, especially at this time. Just when she thought her stomach couldn't be doing any bigger flips, it did when he called her beautiful. The anxiety-ridden she-cat remained quiet until he had finished.

She remained quiet for a few seconds, what she really wanted to do was tackle him. Tackle him and hold on forever, she rarely had anything go her way. What did surprise Venomstrike was Icestar's body language, she didn't expect him to be shy.. she found it adorable. She let out the breath she was holding, but when did it came out in a giggle.

"Look what you've done, you made me giggly like some prissy queen."

She sighed, but when she looked at him her face was lit up with a smile. Leaning over, she gave him a hesitant lick on the cheek.

"And what other tom would I want when I could have the handsomest?"

(I apologize beforehand about the awkward layout of the gifs i'm using, they're so big.. but try to put the scroll. you'll get at least a rough idea of the move) [i]all dragon slayers use "_____ dragon roar" with whatever element your dragon slayer uses going in the blank. from there, you can make up your own moves. you don't have to have your character say "fire dragon roar" or whatever move your using whenever they use that move. i'm sure i'll do it, but they do it in the anime so feel free. just make sure you fully describe the move when you do it. remember if you're fighting with another non-NPC, no godmodding. play your move and wait for them to answer. and don't always try to dodge things, it gets boring and unrealistic. Venomstrike chuckled, adorable? Why not. Whenever he touched her, she shivered. Not that she didn't like it, it's just that she's never received any love except from her mother and brothers. Frankly, it kind of scared her. It was like a kit stumbling around when its eyes weren't even open yet. She moved closer to him, her cheek only reached to just under his despite her size.

"I swear to Starclan, you're making me blush on purpose."

In response to his purr, Venomstrike let a soft one resonate through her chest. She looked back at the way they had come from. She was looking for another cat from their Clan, while it isn't like she was embarrassed to be with him. It just be weird if someone saw them.

"I assume that we should go back? I guarantee Lavendarpaw saw us walk out, if we aren't back soon, she'll tell Slatemark and then you'll have to deal with him."

Scarclaw was lounging around the cabin when his brother and deputy approached him. If he was anyone else, he would have gotten up and dipped his head. Ha! This was Slatemark, he wasn't going to do anything. He pretended to roll his eyes and ignore Slatemark.

"Bruh,, show some respect. I'm your superior."

Slatemark whined, he sat next to his brother and slapped him with his tail. Scarclaw couldn't ignore that, he let out a low growl and faced Slatemark.

"Yeah, you're my superior in stupidity."

Scarclaw teased, his smirk lightened his face. Slatemark chuckled, these were their usual conversations. Sometimes Venomstrike would join in and they would just insult each other for about an hour. But the grumpy she-cat was no where to be seen.

"Do you think Venomstrike's getting some action, cause I'm not. Are you? Cause if you are, you gotta introduce me."

Slatemark asked, he had seen her talking to Icestar more and more. Scarclaw on the other had been talking to Taintedsnow. Out of the trio, it seemed like he was the only one not getting freaky. Even as a deputy, his flirtatious attitude hadn't been subdued.

Scarclaw almost choked on the air he was breathing, he cleared his throat and looked away, only glancing at Slatemark occasionally.

"Uh, well I don't know what Venomstrike's doing.."

He trailed off and Slatemark laughed and nudged his brother,

Venomstrike followed Taintedsnow since she was heading just about where her brothers were. A slight smirk played at the corners of her mouth when Taintedsnow bumped into Scarclaw. She sat next to Slatemark and flicked her tail over his back as a greeting.

"Oh hi.. Taintedsnow."

Scarclaw greeted the beautiful she-cat with a smile. His shyness and stammering seemed to disappear when he was around her. Whatever she did, he liked it, it made him like his old self.

Slatemark and Venomstrike snickered to the side and the two warriors moved to the side just a little to give their brother some privacy.

"Do you know where Lavenderpaw is?"

Slatemark looked over Scarclaw's back at Taintedsnow, the deputy needed to train his apprentice. He looked over his back, maybe she was in the cabin? He didn't know, all he did know was that he wasn't interacting with as much as he wanted to ever since he became deputy.

->Information; Water dragon slaying magic allows the user to completely turn their body into water and move across surfaces if needed. Without even casting a spell, the user can control the water to his/her will. The water does have weight, though, if the user wishes to channel any amount of water it'll put the weight of the water on the him/her. This causes many limitations, trying to control a body of water that's goes beyond the user's limits will crush or, if they're lucky, severely injure him/her. The user is able to shape water into whatever they want, suspending the water in the air are intermediate skills. If the user is skilled enough, they may make the water rock solid, and move at incredibly fast speeds. As an example, the user could form a few arrows out of water and send them flying towards the enemy, either killing or injuring them; it's the user's choice. Another intermediate skill is controlling the temperature of the water. Of course, the user has the basic dragon slayer moves and he/she has a heightened sense of smell, hearing, sight, taste, touch, and intuition.

Personality; Riley is the bomb. Or at least, that's what people say. Riley agrees completely, though. She's the one the brings the booze to parties, she's the one that's laughing the loudest in the crowd, she's the one showing off. She loud, fun, funny, and extremely out-going. But underneath all that, she's just sad and lonely. Sure she has her guild mates, and she truly loves them, but she just feels like she's the odd one out. And not for good reasons. She used to be a solemn, grim child; she slowly grew out of it. Riley realized that if she was going to be odd, why not it be for good reasons? So she put up the mask of a party girl, the girl who talks with everyone. The girl who you can spill your problems to, and she'll help you every step of the way. Even though she gives great advice, she doesn't know how to follow it herself. She's naïve, too loyal for her own good, and she loves a good fight. She hates being wrong, so she'll nag the other person until one of them just loses it. Riley feels like maybe a love interest would lighten her up, of course, she doesn't want to seem like a flirt though. Her love life is extremely complicated.
History; Her mother, or her foster mother was the Water Dragon Queen Augalion, just like the other dragon slayers' foster parents, her mother vanished one day. It broke her heart, Augalion was the one she always leaned on, for physical and mental support. She found her way to Fairy Tail, begging to join since she had been wandering forever, and she was just tired of it. She doesn't know anything about her real parents.
