Applejack woke, weary headed and with eyelids the weight of lead. She hadn't had the best night sleep, her mind had been active for the majority of the night, filled with questions and theorise that desperately need an answer. She opened her eyes, groaning at the clawing and scratching at the door, her ears flat. "Chaotic, quit it!" she hissed rather demandingly, as she pulled the covers over her head to try and block out the noise, to no avail.

In a flourish, she kicked away the quilt and sleepily walked over to Chaotic, picking up her hat from the hook and placing it on her head, hardly caring less that he hair was still hanging loose without her ruby ties. "Chaotic, you gotta behave..." she mumbled "I'll bring some food up ere' for ya," she said, rubbing Chaotic's head before pushing open the door.

The sound of Applebloom's voice hit her ears, and it was too late before she had turned the corner and seen Chaotic. "Oh m' goodness, sis! What is this?" she said in her high pitched voice. "Also, Granny tol' me to come an' get ya for breakfast. How about this lil' guy joins us! Maybe a could get my cutiemark taking care of him!" she yelled, beckoning Chaotic away before AJ could say another word. She trudge after her sister, face creased.

(Just gonna assume this is jump in, forgive me if it isn't x3)

Akula crouched low in the downside of a slope, his muddy yellow eyes just visible. The Russian shark-pony watched her with narrowed eyes, his blade twisting around his hooves nervously; the blade he was using for her assassination. He exhaled almost silently, blinking and climbing a little higher up the slope, getting into a charging stance. He took a few more minutes to examine her, observe where she was least and most vulnerable. A few more minutes passed, and he took one more final breath before charging at her, almost grabbing her and pulling her upright to they were both standing on their rear hooves, the blade held threateningly to her throat. "Sombra's told me a lot about you..." he whispered deviously.

Akula cursed, his head spinning as the tables were immeidatly turned "Sure you do! So you can just betray us! Useful things my ass!" He snapped viciously, leaning forward but to back away when the blade dug into his throat. His face held pure hatred, his eyes burning with rage and tail slashing back and forth behind him. He smirked. Reaching forward with the shark tail, he realised it was long enough to...his smirk widened with menace. He swung his tail around, aiming for the Alicorns legs to try and knock her off her hooves.

"Taking out the bitch..." He muttered quietly under his breath, before grabbing Solar's arm and twisting the knife from his throat stepping back. "Oh nothing, your highness," he mocked with a roll of his eyes "Seems that I just wanted to accidently trip you," He simply turned back to Solar, ignoring Azure. "I would say you let us kill you, we'll make it quick, you won't suffer like everyone else did," he brushed a hoof through his mane as he said this, eyes transfixed on the Alicorns with a raised eyebrow. "After all, the secrets of the Princesses mean nothing to us now that they're dead. What do they have to hide anymore?"

"Who are you to say that?" he asked in a bitter voice "You're following him too," he frowned, leaving the knife discarded on the floor. "I'm only doing this so I don't get killed like the Princesses, The Mane 6 any everyone else who refused. And I'm sure your doing it for that reason too," he flicked his tail, ending the topic as that. He sat down, dragging the knife across the ground and tucking it in his belt. He flicked his ears, pointing to Azure "One Pegasus right for the picking," he said mockingly "I didn't know there was more trying to assassinate you, Sombra never told us. Maybe he expected some conflict," he said thoughtfully, taking his blade and rolling it between his hooves.

Akula whinced, his ears flattening tightly to his skull. He bowed his head as the voice was blown away by the quickly growing wind. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled anxiously "I'll kill her, f-for you..." he slowly followed after the others, blade now snug in it's sheath. "I'm sorry, Princess. I can't kill..." he muttered loud enough for her to hopefully hear "I'm a coward...for choosing Sombra's side," he muttered, eyes looking everywhere but at her "I want to protect you,"

Akula nodded, neck straining as he looked up at her and Azure. "Could you come down though, I can't fly and I can barely keep up with you," he said, shuffling his hooves. She was making this more difficult, if that forcefield remained up, his efforts would be put to useless and he would later be killed for betraying and faking his promise. He sighed, looking down, his brain buzzing of how he could convince her to take the forcefield away. It was going to take days, maybe weeks of trust, but he knew what he was doing; even if it was wrong. He looked up again "Order me around all you like, I'll do anything to prove my trust," he said, almost begging.

Akula bit his lip, looking around with desperate eyes. There was no way around, he needed her trust. Even with Sombra dead he would continue carrying out his mission, if he hadn't changed his mind about the Alicorn, which he was internally fighting. The stallion quivered slightly and bowed his head "I'll follow you and assist in the death of Sombra, and if he talks to me, I'll report to you what he said at once." He looked up, his ears flickering as he attempted to pull a serious face "Earlier....he said I had one more chance, which probably means I'm gonna die. But, I don't want to kill an innocent mare. I've seen past my blindness,"

Hope I'm not too late to the party x3

Darcy inspected his notes within the crowd of gathering people for the Meeting. He'd managed to gather small information about The Shadows, though few. His eyes skimmed his handwriting carefully. Though what Aqua Swirl had mentioned about them not all being evil, all the ones that he had came across seemed all too keen to cause him pain and suffering.

He lifted his head, exhaling his breath with a thick fog of water vapour. He didn't remember it being so cold. He cleared his throat, preparing to make his point. "Aqua's right about the fact that we can't judge them all to be hostile and evil." He nodded, looking at the Mare with an expressionless face. "But I've been doing some research where I can, though the books don't state a creature like this, it makes me all the more uneasy about their goals and what they plan to achieve..." He muttered, face twisting into a grimace.

Darcy watched the discussion between Aqua Swirl and Four quietly. "But what about the ponies that don't have possession of Magic?" he asked with lifting ears, eyes sparked with curiosity and the slightest of concern. "One thing is teaching unexperienced Unicorns defensive spells. But another is teaching others at least something they could use to defend themselves. They can't have the Unicorns babysitting them just because they can produce something of a weakness."

The small stallion shifted where he stood, shuffling his hooves as he hugged his notes close to him like a life line. "...I've...managed to analyse them from a safe distance," he said quietly, eyes downcasting back at his notes as if it would make speaking any easier in this situation. "I don't think they have a specific solid form, but they are able to blend within the shadows of their surroundings with surprising ease," Darcy quivered, tail flicking uneasily. "The one thing that really disturbed me though...ignoring the fact that they aren't in any way possible sentient beings or anything I've ever came across before. Is their eyes..." he voice failed and cracked for the briefest of seconds before he was able to continue. "Even by looking from a distance, the colour is an unmistakable, crimson blood red," he shuddered at the thought of the colour "Not only their colour, but...it felt like they were staring right through me. I felt paralysed from their stares and I was suddenly fearful for no reasons. I...I've come to believe that they possibly feed off of fear...?" Darcy said uncertainly, shrugging his shoulders.

Darcy looked to Alpha Jet, frowning slightly. The idea ran through his mind for a while before he responded, voice dull as ever. "1 Pony training 20 without any assistance?" he cocked his head "That could take alot of time. Time that we don't really have unless we can manage to slow the Shadows down like we have been trying thus far. If you think about it, once those first 20 ponies are trained, the development of training others will be much quicker, so it isn't a too bad of an idea." Darcy twitched, silent for a few moments, face brooding. "We have to consider that not every Pony that signs up will have the same level as skill as everyone else. Some may be extremely adapt learners; but others might need more motivation and support."

Darcy stood tight-lipped as the other ponies bought various other theories and strategies. His ears perked as Four mentioned the same thing he had noticed. He had felt the air decrease in temperature dramatically, but then had felt it increase just as soon as it had came. Perhaps the Alicorn was quite a paranormal being? Perhaps a Ghost. He stood there brooding for a few minutes about it. Ghosts always brought a chill with them and their presence could be felt if they were nearby. The range regarding of how powerful they were. He wavered slightly before snapping out of his fantasising mind to turn to Alpha. He dipped his head before quietly mumbling a quick "I..."
