Right after Finalkit, there was the blue lynx point kit that would eventually be named Boldlykit. It was too soon to tell if she would inherit a point coloring, as her kit fur was only a creamy white. It would be several weeks before her blue lynx point coloring would start to appear on all the approximate places.

Unlike her brother who had let out a squeal of discontent of his new world, she had let out a squeal of excitement. This place was new and wonderful to the small female. it was getting far too cramped and warm in that place she and the rest of the siblings once resided in. This place was different. sure it was cold and unfamiliar, but she had a thirst for adventure even at her early age. She wanted to explore what all this world had for her.

And so she did. Picking up on her mother's nearby scent, the creamy white kit blindly crawled towards her mother's milk supply.

The newborn female finally made her way close to her mother's teats. There was another creature that brushed up against her and curious, the kit nudged the other female a bit. This discovery was soon forgotten as she scented the aroma of the milk supply. She eagerly thrust her mouth forward and began quenching her hunger.

The small kit was sunning herself near the middle of the Mayan ruins. Her creamy white fur had slowly revealed the markings of a blue lynx point over the course of a few weeks. The kitten yawned, standing up as she shook some dirt from her pelt. It was a bit too quiet in camp, and the outgoing kit hardly knew anyone, so she decided it was time to make a change.

"Meet and greet, anyone?!" She cheerfully yelled, her blue eyes sparkling with excitement.

So apparently this guy used to be a part of RiverClan back when Pinballstar himself was a mere kit?! How cool was that! Boldlykit wondered silently in her head if this Michal had any cool exciting adventures during his absence away from RiverClan. Far-off places sounded far more interesting than RiverClan itself at the moment but then again, it was the only place she ever knew.

"Hi, my name's Boldlykit! Did you have any exciting adventures before you returned to RiverClan?!" the kit babbled excitedly, a bright grin on her face.

The kit's eyes widened for a second, taking the fact that the leader himself participated in her little meet and greet. Even if Pinballstar was a bit young for a leader, he was older than Boldlykit and she still respected him. How could she not? He was a leader like her father! Pinballstar must be good and highly respected to gain his rank quicker than most.

"It's-it's a honor to meet you, sir." Boldlykit said, a bit embarrassed of her sudden bashfulness. She quickly recovered adding, "My name's Boldlykit!"

Wow, there were so many faces in RiverClan, it made Boldlykit wished that she had left the nursery sooner! All of these faces had names attached to them. Along with that they each had a story to tell. Some of them had scars that were given to them in battle. There was the doctor's apprentices who studied medicine, but there was the warriors and apprentices and that's what Boldlykit wanted to be. A fierce RiverClanner who protected her clan with all her might.

There was one familiar face in the crowd and that was her mother. "Mommy!" she smiled as she launched her small body at the adult female, attempting to hug her, "I'm doing good!" she purred.

Boldlykit had been watching a butterfly, studying its every move like it was a bird to hunt down. Well one day it would be an actual bird that she would hunt down and proudly bring back for her clan. When she saw it land on a flower, she made a sloppily crouch and was about to pounce on it when she suddenly heard a skittering noise like when a car tries to stop on pavement too quickly.

Curious, the kit looked up from the butterfly to see her mother almost run her over, just barely stopping before her.

"Mommy..." she looked up at Wavepaw, her blue eyes filled with amazement, "That. Was. So. COOL!" She excitedly squeaked out.

"How'd you do that mom? Can you teach me how to go fast like that? Pleeease?!"

//gosh I've been terrible with keeping up with her. I took a short break and have no idea if she has a new rper or not xD but I've came, but I heard you guys are struggling.

The young apprentice blinked. Where was she? It was as if her life had been a big blur up to this moment. She remembered life in RiverClan. Peaceful, serene and boooring. She had a loving mother and siblings to call her own. She remembered meeting the leader, that was really cool! Boldlypaw had heard that her father is a leader. Or maybe was, she wasn't sure. After all, he could have died or something.

As a young kit, she explored the outside of RiverClan one day. She saw all the exciting things she ever experienced before. 'Maybe I'll just go a bit further in, and then I'll come home.' She thought to herself. The kit kept going further and further out into the RiverClan territory. As she kept on walking, she found herself enjoying the new sights and scents.

She kept on wandering, whatever she pleaded. For a while she forgot about her family until she set foot into the territory. It seemed familiar, even though she never been there before. For once, in her journey, she felt...content. She liked this place and she wanted to know more about this territory and its members.

"Hello?" She called out, "Anyone around here?"

She was tired. Her eyes dropped, her shoulders sagged, her paws dragged across the rugged land. Her coat was mangy and in need of a good cleaning. Boldlypaw should be excited. She was always begging to explore new places and see new sights. As soon as she was old enough, Boldlypaw gladly left the place she called home. Well, not "home" per say, but the place where she was birthed.

The Lynx point gave a shaky laugh as she sat down for a moment to rest her weary bones. Here she was, the daughter of a former leader, a king who ruled a clan faraway from her mother's clan. That would make her a princess in every right but name. So what was a pretty princess like her doing all alone, by herself?

It wasn't quite winter yet. In fact, it wasn't even quite yet fall. In fact, she and her littermates had been a summer litter. Which the young femme found odd considering her name was Winterkit. She supposed it was on account of her white fur.

She was too young to have seen snow in person but she had seen what it looked like. The humans had a magic box with moving pictures. The first time she had seen the box, it had startled her. She jumped on top of it to attack it. The humans laughed and her mother had reprimanded her.

Well okay, she wasn't exactly her mother. She had found out recently that one of her parents had dumped them in her adopted mother's care. Apparently they had been wild cat that was the member of the group called the Rift? Her adopted mother forbade her from seeing them; saying that it was best to stay put where she was safe from harm's way like they wanted her to be.

'Being a wild cat is dangerous,' Her adopted mother warned.

Winterkit wanted to know why they left them, so she snuck out of the house one night when her adopted mother had been sleeping to find her answers.

It was something she was slightly regretting now. When she first saw the waters that separated the group from the mainland, she had no qualms scrambling into a boat and pushing it towards the island. But now, she was in a bit of trouble. She was just a three month old kit. What did she know about sailing? Or the fact she was about to crash into a sandbar?

"Ooof!" She yelped as the sudden stop catapulted her into the water. The kit struggled, nasty salt water spilling into her lungs.

She was going to drown unless some poor Rifter happened to take pity on her.

Winterkit was panicking. She was just a young kit who never even touched a body of water in her life. Sure, she drank from the water bowl her humans had; but that was waay different than actually attempting to swim in it. Just as she felt like she was going to slip under, a voice called out to her.

"Hang on!" the voice called, and she struggled to turn her head to see a raccoon swimming towards her.

She wadded just as a bit longer, thrashing her legs against the water in an effort to keep upright. She immediately relaxed when Diamond grabbed her and pulled her to shore.

"T-t-thanks." She said, as some of that yucky sea water came spilling out of her.

Thank you both for the warm welcome! :D

@Pyrecrastination I remember Phantom! Didn't she and Greymatter interact at one point?? Honestly kinda miss the feud between SunClan and ColoredClan. I'm sad Grey and Selfdestruction didn't interact much, she's seems like a pretty neat character as well.

//heck yes. Cosmicpaw is going to be initially cold towards her so the thought of Kei flaunting the fact he's a better dad is just too hilarious for me not to decline. Also, ninja'd!

Once her body was satisfied that all the water had been propelled out of her lungs, she turned to face Kei, who'd ask her for her name.

"My name's Winterkit! I--I'm trying to find my dad, my mama said he was here? Well she's not my actual momma but--" She abruptly stopped as her teeth clacked together; shivering. Late summer or not, the waters were still quite cold for such a young child.

A new voice entered the equation and she looked up at Cosmicpaw. She didn't recognize him or his scent at all. She had no idea he was the one she'd been searching for.

"Uh, sure." She said, curious by the strange request.

Winterkit watched as he leaned down to hear her breathing. She was honestly kinda weirded out by it. She wasn't aware that other animals were knowledgable in medical practices. Momma had said that only special humans called vets could heal sick and injured animals.

"Wow! You can tell I'm okay by my breathing?" She asked in wonder, her gold eyes widening at thought.

She opened her mouth to answer Cosmopaw's own answer when a warm blue towel was suddenly draped around her. She looked up to see Kei there. He had been the one who'd asked her about her name.

    "Thank you!" She purred.

She wondered if he was her dad. She wouldn't mind him. He seemed quiet but nice. If that was the case, wouldn't he recongize his own child?

"Well, she said his name had something to do with stars. Constellation? No, that's not right. Uh, Cosmo?" She scrunched her nose, "I think that one's right!"

//I've stared at Cosmos' profile pic for five minutes straight trying to figure out what he was. A torbie with white coloring? Tortie?

//haha I see, my bad xD

He seemed almost...upset at her explanation. He muttered under his breath angrily and Winterkit stared at him, wondering if she had said something wrong. Momma was always saying she spoke before she thought. He then said something that surprised her.

"It's Cosmicpaw. Cosmo is just a nickname," He said quietly, "You've grown a lot since I last saw you."

She straightened her posture in shock, as she looked over the healer in a new light. This was her father? The weird guy who could tell she was okay by listening to her breathing?! He seemed waaay too young to be her dad and not at all who she'd imagined him to be.

"You're..you're my dad?" She stumbled over her words; trembling slightly, "Why'd you leave me and the others? Di-di-did you not like us? Wh-why--"

A sharp sob cut off her rambling questions.

She felt her father gently pat her against the back. It was different from Momma, who'd give her adopted daughter a gentle lick or two to reassure that she loved her. It was awkward, like he didn't know what to do with her.

She was upset, because she had hoped that maybe, just maybe he had planned on picking them up one day. That she'd wake up to the sound of her father's voice asking her to come home. Momma had been cynical about that, trying to make her see the reality of the situation. Instead of her giving up, it had the opposite effect. It made her think that the outside world was so dangerous that he couldn't risk traveling to them. That she had to find her way to him instead. To find that her fantasy had been shattered, ruined her.

"B-b-but you did mess up!" She exclaimed, "By-by not being there for us!"

The she-kit was ignorant of the fact that she probably crushed his feelings by the declaration. She pressed onwards, midst her sobs.

"I want to stay here," She announced, "and you can't make me go back."

Okay, she was being a bit of a brat. But she hadn't come all this way just to see her father. She came with the hopes of becoming a wild cat. To feel the breeze ruffling her fur without a collar hindering it. And she wasn't going to let her father drag her back to Momma just because he didn't want to be a father to her.

She watched him turn away from her. He wouldn't even look at her, instead he stared intently at the ground. He didn't argue like she expected him to. Momma would've forced her back, no ifs, ands or buts. His tone of voice was icy cold as he muttered some excuse about an elder and left the scene.

Tears silently streamed down at her face as she watched Cosmicpaw fled the scene. This wasn't how she wanted to go at all. She remembered her depiction of her father--

'A cream tabby stared down at her, a rumbling sound of approval coming from his throat. He was a large cat, stocky build with long fur making him appear even bigger. His emerald eyes looked down at her in amusement.'

and Cosmicpaw was not him. She felt so cheated and confused by it.

"You can stay in my room if you'd like," The black feline softly spoke, driving her out of her thoughts.

She turned her head to look at him as he continued speaking.

"Unless of course, you would prefer to stay with him."

"No," She immediately said, "I don't want to stay with him; he doesn't...want me anyways."

She scrunched up her nose, the little kit disheartened at the thought her father didn't like her. But she did take a second look at the black feline. He wasn't like the cream tabby in her vision, but he was much more nicer than Cosmicpaw.

"I want to be with you," She said before bashfully looking away, "and maybe, maybe...you could be my daddy?"

She didn't see why not. Momma had been her mother, even if she wasn't her actual mother. Cosmicpaw didn't have to be her daddy if he didn't want to. The black feline was much more nicer and caring anyways.
