finishing the last of her meal, the tabby feline sat up -- licking her dark lips before she began, "just passing through," beth stated with a flicker of her whiskers, tipping her head to one side. "it quicker this way than it is to go all the way around." she decided not to state the location she was headed, nonetheless coming from. he made her feel rather uncomfortable, with his stalker-like appeal. mama always said not to talk to strangers.

"dangerous? trust me, i know." bethan replied with a roll of her golden hues, a slight smirk playing her maw. "besides, if you did decide to put up a fight -- i would be happy to defend myself, succeeding in kicking your immature *." she retorted with a sly grin.

scooping up herself some chocolate and strawberry ice-cream, the feline settled herself down with a happy sigh. surely, this would cool her down for a while. taking a seat, beth let her amber hues wander for someone to talk to. eventually, her gaze fell upon the shy mizupaw -- to which she smiled kindly.

"my name's bethan valdis, but I just go by beth." She introduced herself with a small tip of her chin, swiping her pink tongue at her ice-cream. "i'm from the court. so... where are you from, mizupaw?" the feline asked with a curious blink of her golden hues as she angled her head to one side.

"is that a challenge?" beth replied, the slightest of smiles playing her ebony lips. the feline's furry tail lashed to and fro, all while the amber hues of her eyes remained slitted and cool. there was a sense of child's play in her voice as she spoke, almost daring and taunting for a fight.

"enjoying the summer rain, collin?" a familiar voice tuned softly. the little feline had been on her way home, hoping to escape the damp and stormy weather before coming across the ginger tabby. upon her ebony lips was a broad, kindly smile. she stood beneath the shelter of a building's roof with her head tipped to the left as a curious blink fled her golden hues. her fur was damp, but not wet ; unlike the very soaked collin, who seemed to be enjoying the current weather. beth just wasn't a fan.

"tiring," came the felines response, a gentle sigh fleeing her ebony lips. her mind had been a buzz of thoughts and ideas lately, troubled by the fact the court was loosing tremendous activity. it was a shame, really. not to mention, her role-player was feeling awful for being inactive -- but she was still in the middle of recovering from a rough trip to the hospital. due to the group's loss of activity, the clerk wondered in it was best to disappear and maybe find a new home? but where? she had already moved so many times, each ending unluckily. perhaps she would escape and become a loner for a few days before deciding who to join. "yeah, I was just on my way home." the feline added with a tip of her chin. "so, how have you been lately?"

bethan seemed to nod in agreement. "i understand." The dainty feline replied with a curt tip of her head. "i've done my best to try and keep this place active, but it doesn't help when all of the high positions are inactive -- including both leaders, too. there definitely needs to be some more effort and care put into this place." the clerk's voice traced hints of dispaointment with each word both skel and otavia have left, i'm certain." she added, "and I'm thinking about leaving, too. but I think i'll wait just a little longer and try to plan things out."

a slight smirk drew itself upon the feline's thin-traced lips. "yeah... I've made most of my friends here. it hurts to think about leaving, for a second time." bethan admitted. she really enjoyed colin's company, he was easy to understand; and he seemed to understand her pretty well, too. he was definitely a good friend, and she most certainly didn't want to throw their friendship away so fast. "actually, i think i might stay in the court... but it'll be under a dual-membership. i'm not going to give up on this place so easily." the clerk clarified. "but, I have absolutely no idea where i'd go from here. I've already been through lunarclan, where twilight lingers, and the tribe of the harvest moon."

// it would. they would have a pretty awesome brother-sister relationship. cx

"knight's of eden, huh?" the tabby replied, letting her head fall and tip to one side of her shoulders. "they seem like a pretty interesting group. i'm considering windclan at the moment, but I'm not sure if it'll last -- I'd like to visit some groups and clans before making a decision." the cat replied with a gentle flick of her damp, rain-wet ears.

"I know nick would understand," beth agreed. "but I still have yet to decide where exactly I'm going." she huffed softly, a slight smile playing her lips. "I'll figure out soon enough."

ooc: sudden muse death. Yeah, they should be really good friends that just pretend and say theiy're related xD let's make it happen lol.

ooc: we could even just keep them in contact, a few threads every once in a while. Just to keep things going,

"I'll find home eventually," bethan flashed a wide grin in return, stepping up onto her toes for no more than one fraction of a second and leaning forward. "so, you seem pretty keen on becoming a member of Knights of Eden?l she began, a rather stiff and awkward manner of speech rolling from her tongue, "what's so interesting about the place?" Beth questioned, quirking a non-existent brow.
