    Chiron silenced the camp with a wave of his hand. "Dinner will be served in ten minutes! Wounded campers are to go to the Big House," he ordered, then galloped over to Mr. D.


    Karma sat down on a large boulder, examining her new scars. She looked up and saw Amber, then motioned her to come sit.

    "I need to talk with you two, and the twins from the Apollo cabin," he said. "Right now."

"I'm not sure if you already know this, but three powerful items have been taken away from Zeus and spread all throughout the United States," he explained, "and we want you all to find them."


    Runo stared at Chiron intensely. "Are are you asking us to go on a quest?"


    He nodded. "Indeed I am. Do you accept?"

"That will show you where to go looking. We're guessing the thief stole the items because they did not want all that power in one individuals hands, giving the amount of power Zeus already has."


    A blue holographic image floated above Evelyn's head, but she just ignored it and listened to Chiron. "So, we've only been here two days. Why are you picking us again?" she asked.


    "Remember what I told you about why everyone keeps claiming you?" Chiron answered. "You have a great amount of power concealed inside you." He gazed at Runo and Amber. "You two have much experience. That combined with their power makes you unstoppable."

    Runo rubbed her thighs in that awkward way that people do and sighed. "So, uh, to the Oracle, I guess."

She sat in the center of the cabins, by the campfire, and stared blankly in the distance as if she were waiting for something. She was curious to see why there was a huddled group by the entrance, but decided against it. She didn't want to get involved in anything that wasn't her business.


    Everest had been up since dawn. She stirred in her bed, anxious to get up and eat. Though, last night was exhausting and wore her down. After a few minutes of doing absolutely nothing, Everest reluctantly slumped out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, where she brushed her hair and braided it like the rest of the Hunters.

    Runo glanced over again at the group, then suddenly realized a new camper was about to join. She stood up and strolled over to Danny and the others. "Hey," she said nonchalantly, making her way into the heart of the group. "I'm Runo, daughter of Zeus. You're new here, right?"

    "The Big House is where all the Camp counselors meet, and the home of the Oracle. She tells you prophecies and stuff when you need them," Runo answered, crossing her arms. "I've never actually seen her, but by the sounds of it, she's really creepy and old." A roll of thunder boomed in the distance. "I-I mean, she's a bit odd, and, uh, elderly."
