Kara ran through the halls to collect her personal items from her quarters. She let her mind wander. What if people found the facility with them still inside? Would they hurt the subjects or protect them? Kara was snapped from her thoughts when she ran into someone.

*School of Magic* _______________________________________ Hello there. Welcome to my school. You must be the new students. Allow me to explain how things work here at Leticia Academy. You each should have some affinity to magic, or some sort of ability.
You will each get a class schedule to teach you how use your abilities. Most of you will probably have classes together. A list of the classes you can take will be at the front desk as well as a list of school rules.
You will each be sorted into a dorm room with between two and four other people. If you dislike the people you are with, please come to the front desk and you may change room mates. At this school, you will be safe if you are running away from someone...or something. This school can not be overpowered by any government or group in power so those of you running from the law need not worry. If you see any animals or creatures running around, do not worry, for this is perfectly normal. Alongside humans and other creatures, some animals will learning magic. I guess that will do for now. If you have any questions, you can just go to the front desk and ask. Everyone will be happy to give an answer.________________________________________ Rules Subjects Sign ups

Lalen nervously walked down the path to the school. Would her class mates be nice? Would they like her? These questions flew through her head like a tornado. Suddenly, she bumped into somebody.

Lalen looked up to see a random student. "Sorry." She murmured quickly and ran onwards. She saw a group of people standing around and began to walk past them.
Ooc: I have arrived.

Lalen looked up at the woman next to her. "Oh, hello." She gave the most realistic smile she could manage.

Lalen smiled. "Um, no but thanks." She quickly hurried away to the front desk for her schedule.
Ooc: I'll put a list of possible classes on my next post and leave it to you to decide what classes you have. Everyone with the same classes should have that class around the same time.

Lalen chose a seat as far back and off to the side as she could. People in the crowd tried to talk over the sound from each other but only succeeded in becoming louder. Lalen covered her ears. "This is why I hate crowds." She murmured.
Clarice stood backstage, bracing herself. She was about to appear before the whole school and give a speech. She messed with her tie until she was satisfied.
Ooc: tell me when you finish your conversations or want them to be cut off.

Ooc: the principal is Clarice Goldenheart.
Ic: "now a word from our principal, Ms. Goldenheart." Clarice stepped onto the stage a smile on her face. "Hello, I am your principal Clarice Goldenheart. I hope everyone has and will make some friends here and I hope you all have a wonderful year!" Clarice grinned at the audience and shared a glance with the teachers.

Ooc: we should probably all have homeroom with Salem's mom. That way everyone will be included. Also, homeroom first.

Lalen quickly walked down the hall, avoiding everyone as much as she could. She took a look at her schedule. Room ___? Seemed easy enough to find.
Ooc: ok Salem, time to choose your room number.

Ooc: sampaw, I didn't see you on the sign ups. Did I maybe miss you?
Ic: Lalen made her way to room 200 and looked around. Was everyone already inside? She opened the door and peeked her head inside before stepping into the room.

Clarice sat down at her desk trying to hide her boredom. 'It looks like a good group of students this year. Hopefully they don't get into trouble.' She thought, pulling out her pen to do boring office work.
