[justify][size=7pt]The ebony and white wolf was tired. He hadn't gotten more than an hour or so of sleep in the past week, but the results of this were more than worth it. Everything was ready. His hard work had truly paid off, because in the end what he had completed was another sight to behold all on its own. It was like nothing that had ever been seen before, ethereal and beautiful and absolutely perfect. He truly hoped that Sutton liked what he had worked so hard to make. So what was it?
It all started with a door. It wasn't a normal door, it was covered from top to bottom in white lace- a color that would reappear several times in the finished piece. The lace was hung over the ivory-painted door and had little pearls strung all over it, randomly placed. There was a mirror on the door as well- no, wait, that was a glass window that showed to inside contents, or it would have if the window was not made of kaleidoscopic mosaics. The door then opened to a room, and the first thing to be noticed was the light.
The window facing out to the balcony had been replaced with one like the door in its mosaic style; however, it had been stained- yes, stained mosaic glass. And the sun shone brilliant through the glass- creating a beautiful rainbow of colors that reflected into the room and bounced off various glass objects, soft light that made a pleasurable but exciting feeling. The floor had lush, soft white carpet lain across the mahogany boards and it was also colored faintly with the rainbows of light. There was a brilliantly soft velvet loveseat of the same ivory color with tawny flowers imprinted across the armrests. There was also a matching recliner to the other side but was made instead of down and both faced the window.
The centrepiece of the room was a beautiful glass chandelier hanging from the high curling that had its own light that shone down on the room as well. Intricate floral designs were across the brilliant chandelier and tear-shaped glass pieces hung down gracefully from the piece. Underneath this centrepiece to the side was a door to the side- or a cutout of one with little beads and lace hanging in the doorway to be entered through. However, the most brilliant part of the room was the king sized bed complete with fluffy ivory sheets stained with intricate deep crimson floral designs curling from the bottom and then forming a large heart-shape at the too cover. Several pillows by the looping headboard mimicked the pattern with fringy strands on the end.
Through the doorway was the most necessary part of his build. A nursery for their upcoming children. It was bathed in similar light from a rainbow mosaic window and the walls were covered in a beautiful clashing of scenes of the wild, from rolling hills to jagged mountains to fields of gold and a sparkling river and the massive ocean. A play area was provided on a lush white extra-carpeted place and individual beds were provided for the kittens- and by beds they were those dog beds one could OOCly buy from PetSmart, all cream with fluffy white insides. Various playthings were available in the room and it was completely child-proofed; the anxious father-to-be ensured this.
He silently waited for the arrival of his mate, though his anxiety was not for the room, but a hidden object in which was stored in a beautiful crimson casing and resting in the middle of the room with the rainbow rays of sun beaming down on it off the diamond in the middle of the silver ring. The door to the room remained shut, though, in suspense for what was to come.
"...Sutton."
