Syndra's sudden remarked snapped him out of whatever stupor he had let himself slip into. he blinked a few times and then looked over at her, taking a moment to process what she'd just said. he really needed some sleep. why wasn't he sleeping? why was he not in his bed already? he needed some *ing sleep! his bed was so far away, though.. it was annoying. it was really annoying. why couldn't his bed just be in the doorway of the camp? that would be convenient. he wouldn't have to walk so *ing far.[color=#ffeedd]"Uh, yeah. It's alright. A bit long but it's been okay," the liger would answer, nodding his head a few times. yeah, it'd been okay. aside from all the fish business, nothing bad had really happened. he'd gotten a lot of stuff done - the medic gathering, a lot of raiding, a lot of menial, little tasks he'd had to do. it had been productive up until the whole fish incident. now that he thought about it, perhaps he ought to mention it to Syndra? If they were running low on water, then that could be bad for them, considering they lived in a desert. why hadn't he thought of this until now?

Do you think we should be worried?" he would ask, tilting his head to the side just a little bit. Personally, he was worried. he always fretted about these things. it could be the tiniest, most insignificant, little issue and he would blow it up to the size of a whale within two seconds of learning of it. it was ridiculous, he knew it, but he couldn't help it. he was one of those worrisome people.
Edmund's arrival broke his train of thought, though it was a welcome relief. he hated getting absorbed in his own mind. it wasted his own time and usually, he hated what he was thinking about - not always, just usually. he couldn't help his pessimistic, downer trains of thought so he usually just let them run themselves out. clearing his throat, he turned to xem and offered xem a smile. [color=#ffeedd]"Hey. I'm alright - a bit tired but that's normal. How are you feeling? Did you do anything today?" he would respond cheerfully before leaning back onto his haunches and looking between the two of them. Alright, cool. Cool, cool. They had a possible drought and a pleasant chat. Cool. Why did he always seem to get the weird conversations? Why had he even brought the water thing up? He could've just told her later. In truth, Syndra was pretty close to Domeric in her intimidation levels - significantly lower but closer than most. One of the reasons they really didn't talk was that she scared him, like most tough people here. He had never been one of those tough guys. He was a 'make it up as you go and try not to die' guy. Hell, that was how he'd made third tier, scholar and taught bloodclan's entire medic population. On second thought.. he was pretty *ing awesome, wasn't he?[/fancypost]
