Zeyd stalked through the trees as silent as a ghost and seemed to take all the air with her as she wove around the dense foliage. None knew her true name, but she had been gifted many, all because of her...unique... Profession.

A light breeze ruffled Zeyd's fur and with it, brought the scent of other wolves. She prowled deeper into the forest, all senses on high alert.
-
OOC: srry, iv'e been off. i would've responded sooner if i could
IC: Zeyd paused, cocking her head to listen, she could have sworn she heard another voice. but that didn't matter now. no-survival was her first priority and that meant shed do anything to achieve it.
-
Zeyd turned her head, gazing at the older she wolf with a curious expression in her eyes. "I am a traveler." she said, her words floating on the wind.
-
Name: Forest
Gender: Stallion
Appearance: -
"A future." Zeyd replied, neatly avoiding giving out any details as she lifted a law disdainfully. Her pads were shredded from daily wear and her claws were not as they used to be. In her glory days she was healthy and fit, now all that potential was reduced to the lowlife ghost of who she once was. Though most wolves would be in their prime at Zeyd's age, she was unlike most.
-
Alright, thank you!
-
Zeyd cocked her head towards the three new wolves. "I am Zeyd." She said, sitting up in a slightly defensive position. It had been far too long since she had been in the presence of so many wolves. Far, far too long...
-
Forest lifted his head as an icy wind whistled through the woods, making the trees creak and groan. The air sparked with electricity from the prospect of lightning and thunder and the bay colored stallion suddenly thought the wide open space of the sunny plateaus below looked far more welcoming than the stormy mountain he currently stood on.
-
Zeyd turned her head back and forth as the male wolves conversed. How unusual it was for them to be completely unaggressive towards each other, she stood and stretched. Just because they were friendly now, didn't mean they would be later...

The wind grew stronger, snagging the long strands of his mane or tail and whipping them ferociously in the air. Forest turned around and began trotting down hill in the direction of the plateau.
-
-
Forest broke into a canter just as the thunder began. It growled furiously, alighting the sky with white hot streaks of lightning that could come crashing down at any moment. He increased his pace as he reached the foot of the mountain and dark silhouettes appeared farther out on the plains.
-
Zeyd noticed the interaction between the three brothers and her mood switched immediately. Sure, she didn't know any of these wolves but she hard been itching for a fight for weeks, and now was her chance. "You have three seconds to back off before I make you." She growled, hackles rising as she padded closer to the aggressive male. The blood pounded in her ears, this was what she was meant to do, and she loved it.
-
Forest paused, the rain blurring his vision. From this distance he could see a small outcropping that could offer shelter and he began trekking towards it while slipping in mud.
-
Zeyd sidled up to Ash. Heck, she barely knew this wolf and now she was helping him! But something about him hinted at the potential of a future ally.
-
Terra pulled her International Scout into the long driveway of the stables, her truck and trailer bumping along smoothly as Roxy hung out the window as happy as could be. Calamity whinnied, and it echoed, alerting Terra that she was ready to be let out. The stable came into view and another truck was parked in front with a girl unlatching her trailer. Braking, Terra pulled the key out of the ignition and popped open the door, whistling to Roxy. She walked around to the back of the trailer with Roxy on her heels and opened the door. Calamity's dark coat gleamed under her traveling blanket and she whinnied to Terra.
-
Zeyd narrowed her eyes and paced to the side. She didn't trust other wolves, not since her own encounter which earned her the long scar across her flank that represented shame and guilt and rage.
-
Forest looked up to see a mare approached him warily, almost disbelieving. "Hello?" He called, pausing to wait for a response.
