Snakewings heard something coming from behind him. The tom turned around to find a badger heading straight towards him. He scurried away from the beast. (29)

Foxkit got her grip and pulled herself up onto the other side of the rock. "Phew..." (9)

He ran out of the graveyard and back to his path. What a horrible time! (30)

Now where would the she-kit go to. There was no turning back now. She had only barely made the jump! Foxkit felt the ground rumble again. Another aftershock! She took cover. (10)

The shaking caused Foxkit to become dizzy. She stumbled around. (11)

The rumbling began to slowly fade. Foxkit got to her paws and padded up the steep path. (12)

Foxkit yawned, getting tired as she searched for her friend. There was only so much traveling a kit could do before she needed nap!

The little kit looked for some shelter. Foxkit spotted a small bush. (15)

She made her way into the bush and found that it was no place to stay. Foxkit backed out and continued looking. Every step made her more and more tired. (16)

As the small she-kit continued, she found a small den. "That's the place!" she purred. (17)

Foxkit padded into the den, being very careful of her surroundings. (18)

She lay down in the den and tried to go to sleep, eventually the kit would. (19)

What would tomorrow hold for Foxkit? The she-kit dreamed about her own home and her siblings. (20)
