    Darktail

Darktail growled slightly as the young cat ran into him. He whipped around and glared at the apprentice she-cat. Taking a deep breath, he managed to calm himself down. He hoped that he hadn't scared the young cat with his anger. "Uh, hello? I'm Darktail, a warrior of FallenClan. What's your name?"

    Autumnrain

female - warrior - Tribe of the Harvest Moon

[align=left]Autumnrain was fishing. She didn’t like it much, but it gave her something to do. She’d never caught a fish, either, but she didn’t particularly mind. Her heart wasn’t really in the activity, after all. She sat by the edge of the lake, dipping her paw lazily into the water.

Autumn felt the warm sun on her back and was thankful of the relative peace of her life within the Tribe. She was happy enough with how her life was progressing, and she could only hope that her Tribemates were as well. She wasn’t particularly close with anyone within the Tribe, but she had recently promised herself that this would change. Looking out across the lake, Autumn spied a three-legged dog on the far side of the water. Helixpup, Autumn noted to herself. Rising up from her position by the side of the lake, the golden-coated cat trotted over to talk with the Overseer.

    Autumnrain

female - warrior - Tribe of the Harvest Moon

[align=left]Autumnrain was walking along the border of the Tribe’s territory. This was a daily activity for the golden-coloured cat. Typically, her daily walk was peaceful. She found it almost therapeutic. She tried to stay focused on her task, sniffing around for any new scents or smells. Sometimes, there were foreign cats who wanted to join the Tribe. Other times, the strangers did not come in peace. Today, however, Autumn didn’t smell any scents along the Tribe borders, except those of other Harvesters.

When Autumn had nearly completed a full rotation around the territory borders, she sighed. She supposed that she should start walking back to main camp, but she felt like staying out in the forest for a little longer. She was about to sit down and enjoy a moment’s rest when she caught the scent of one of the new cats – Alex, if she remembered the name right. Autumnrain had met the new cat briefly, but she hadn’t had the chance to get to know her yet. Curious, Autumn began to track the scent and head towards where she might find Alex, hoping to start a conversation.

[align=left]Autumnrain smiled at the three newcomers. She turned when Leanna approached, wondering if the crochet cat would have anything to say. Lea had been acting a little quiet as of late. It was safe to say that many of the Harvesters were concerned for her. “Hello Ghost, Roman and Rosette,” said Autumn, turning her attention back to the newcomers. “My name is Autumnrain, and this is Leanna. As she stated, this whole area is part of the territory of the Tribe of the Harvest Moon. You’re more than welcome to stay here for however long you need – maybe even for the forseeable future? We love newcomers to the Tribe! If you follow me, I can lead you to the barn. Most of the other Tribe cats will be gathered there now. We can get you all something to eat, and we have a healer too. I’m sure that Hospitalpatient and Serenadepaw, our medicine cats, will be able to patch up any injuries in no time.”

[align=left]Autumn had been outside when it started raining. She bristled her fur and sprinted towards the barn, seeking shelter. She didn't really feel like being outside when the weather was so cold and miserable. When Autumn entered the building, she sat for a moment and tried to smooth her fur. Looking up, she saw Alexis seated on a ledge, looking outside. She'd seen the other cat around, but had never really made a point of talking to her. Deciding that this was going to change, Autumn jumped up on to the ledge beside Alexis. "Hey," she said, "I'm Autumnrain. You're Alexis, right?"

[align=left]"Well, we all live in the area around the barn. We grow crops and farm as a way of making food, but if you're more of the hunting type, you'll be able to find prey in this forest as well," said Autumn, trying to explain the ways of the Tribe to the newcomer. "Our leader is a cheetah named Katerina, and you've already met Rose, the Tribe's deputy. There's a lot of other animals living on the farm too, including a cow and a couple of dogs. I think that's about everything that you need to know! So, as Patrick said before, welcome to the Tribe, Buddy!"

[align=left]Autumn couldn’t resist letting out a low laugh. “Oh, it’s okay. It’s Alex, isn’t it? I’ll walk with you to the lake if you’d like to get some water.” Autumn stretched her back and smiled at the other cat. “How are you finding the Tribe? You’re certainly seeming to fit right in. I think that you’ll be a far better farmer than I ever was. I could never be bothered remembering to water the seeds!”

[align=left]Autumn nodded, "Alright," she said. "I'll lead you towards the camp and take you to the healers." Autumnrain walked towards the barn, trying not to move too quickly in case the other cats couldn't keep up. They appeared to be very weary, and Autumn assumed that they'd been travelling for quite a long time. When the group of cats reached the barn, Autumn called out, "Hospitalpatient? Serenadepaw? We've got an injury which needs treating! The female, Paleheart, there's something wrong with her paw!" Autumn glanced back at the newcomers for confirmation. Hopefully the healers would come soon.

    Honeywater
female - warrior - Tribe of the Harvest Moon

[align=left]At a distance, Honeywater dipped her head to the ground, letting the tears stream freely down her face. The whole Tribe would feel the loss of Sunfur. Their ex-leader had been an inspiration to almost everyone who had passed in and out of the Tribe. "Goodbye Sunny," said Honey quietly.

OOC: beautiful post & great choice of song. will be missing you

    Honeywater
female - warrior - Tribe of the Harvest Moon

[align=left]Honeywater had a sister, but sometimes, she wished that she didn’t. There had only been the two of them that survived from their litter. Autumn was the brave, outgoing one. Honey was shy and quiet. Every evening, Autumnrain would tell her sister about her daily adventures - who she had met, the prey she had caught, the enemy she had defeated – and every evening, Honey would feel more and more alone. If only she had the courage to talk to the other cats in the Tribe! Then maybe she would be able to make some real friends amongst the Harvesters, just as her sister had done.

This evening was no different. Autumnrain sat down beside Honey and began talking. “I was at the border today,” she said, “And as I was walking, I came across Patrick talking to a little calico cat that was seated on top of the fence.”

“Yeah?” said Honey, not really interested. She didn’t particularly want to hear about any new cats that Autumn had met.

Autumn continued talking, “Not only that, but the little cat was accompanied by a dove! Now tell me that’s not something that you don’t see every day! And the little cat doesn’t speak. The dove speaks on her behalf.”

Now, Autumn had Honeywater’s full attention. “Oh,” said the shyer of the two golden cats. “I guess that is interesting.”

“I know that you’ll say you don’t want to meet a newcomer – it’s what you always say – but maybe this time, you should give it a shot? You’ve lived in the Tribe your whole life, Honey, and you still haven’t made any friends,” said Autumn. Honey shot her sister an offended glare. Autumn continued, “Okay, okay, I’ll shut up about. It’s just…. If you’re interested, the cat’s named Aster, and the dove… She’s Ambrose.”

Honey hissed slightly at Autumn as her sister started to walk away. She felt like the other cat always babied her and tried to convince her into doing things which she really didn’t want to do. However, this time, Honey had to admit that her sister was right. The young newcomers did seem like an interesting pair, and Honeywater’s curiosity was piqued. Maybe she would seek out the mute newcomer and her friend, Ambrose. Making sure that Autumnrain was out of sight, Honeywater stood up slowly and began to look around the camp. It couldn’t be too hard to find a cat who was friends with a bird, could it? After a few minutes of looking around, Honeywater found Aster, with the bird perched upon the small cat’s shoulder. “Hello?” said Honeywater. “You’re Aster, right?”
