    ooc~ Pretty wolf! :D

ic~ Once finished with the laundry, Lydia immediately had to find something else to occupy herself. She set to cleaning the floor, starting conveniently in the laundry room, scrubbing furiously. She was focused on getting every last speck of dirt.

"That's good..." Jun smiled. They came to the building that Jessica identified as her home. Jun knocked lightly on the door. "Oh, whatever family you're staying with won't mind you bringing home a strange man- a demon, no less- and wouldn't react violently, would they?" He asked, keeping his tone pleasant and light.

    ooc~ so it's morning at Lexie's?
Itsuki woke early in the morning, hearing small sounds that let him know Lexie was already up and about. It was around 7AM when he awoke, and he rubbed his eyes. Jun would probably still be asleep at this point, so he didn't bother trying to contact him. A bit later, after Itsuki had dressed, he heard a knock at the door, which was quickly answered. A client... he thought. He sat back down on the bed.

"I'm sorry, Jessica," Jun said a bit sadly. "I worry more than I should; I guess it's in my nature or something like that. Itsuki tells me that I'm really annoying, because I'm impulsive, yet I worry about what others think of me... if you ever get annoyed with me, you can tell me and I'll go away. I want you to be happy. ...Though I would like to be with you." He finally smiled, earnestly. "You have no reason to worry about that!" They stepped into the house. "It is pretty late... perhaps we should be going to bed soon." He said absentmindedly.

ooc~ I'm going to hold off on Itsuki for this one post so Jun can work on catching up.

"Thank you. That would be great. I've gotten into the habit of sleeping in my everyday clothing, but bedclothes would be very nice for a change." They went up to Jessica's room and Jun was handed some dark-colored clothes. "Should probably fit." He said amiably. Without even saying another word, he went and sat down on the bed and took off his shirt, folding it up and placing it on the ground beside the bed. He slipped on the shirt Jessica had lent him. Demons have rather strange habits such as this. All changed, he came over to her again. As she had gone to change it was unclear if she had even seen him. "Sleepytime?" He suggested with a cute smirk.

Jun slipped under the covers, carefully and slowly. It was a smaller bed, and he wasn't sure how comfortable Jessica would be, with him being so close to her. Well, she did ask me to sleep with her, so she couldn't be that nervous about it, right? Just as he lay down, he heard a small sound. Jessica was crying softly. "Oh, Jessica...!" Jun flipped over onto his side, so he was directly beside her. He reached over and brushed her tears from her cheeks. "Why are you crying, sweet?" Forgetting about keeping a polite distance, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in against him, burying his face in her hair. "There's nothing to cry about. I... I like you. I like you a lot. But I hate to see you cry, or be sad... especially since I feel like I'm causing it. Am I making you sad? Please tell me how to make you happy. I can't stand to see someone I care about so much cry like this."

Itsuki looked up, distracted from his thoughts, snapped out of a reverie. "Ah, sure. I would love to." He got up and walked over to her, standing in the doorway. "Where to? I'm good with anything." He had distinctly loosened up around her, something he did very rarely. Itsuki was uptight even around Jun, whom he had known for a very long time. It took a special kind of person to bring this out in him.

    ooc~ Wahh! Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I missed so much! Sooo sorry~ :'(

ic~ Lydia continued cleaning, highly aware of Shadow's eyes on her. What is he thinking, right now? She mused to herself. Her expression remained steeled, emotionless. He couldn't know what she was feeling, no...
She listened in silence to the conversation between Shadow and the girl, Alex. Lydia knew Alex as Jake's sister, but did not know her personally, terribly well. As the discussion turned to a new topic... Lydia's hand paused for one breathless second, tense in anticipation to hear what she would say. The words took a moment to process in the servant's mind. She likes Shadow. She likes Shadow and she just told him. They're going to go on a date. They're dating... She picked up in her work again, scrubbing with furious pace. It felt like her heart was being squeezed in a vice, like it was going to burst.
Why are you upset, you silly fool!? Your feelings mean nothing. You are a servant. Any thoughts of anything actually coming of them are utterly ludicrous. A servant and a prince? What is wrong with you. You're nothing compared to him. Her eyes burned, but she couldn't let herself cry now. Beating herself up over it seemed to be the only way she knew how to cope. She just wanted these feelings to go away. It would never work. And besides, now he had someone more worthy to be with- Alex.
Shadow's words rang in her mind. "Of course, you're my friend." He never said that he loved her. Did he, and he just didn't want to say it? That must be what it is. If he doesn't like Alex now, he will soon. She's pretty and charming. How cruel, to hope...
Lydia knew she had to find some way to deal with this. It was tearing her up inside. But no matter what she tried, her feelings would never go away- they were too strong.

Skyflight sat by the riverside, staring into the rushing waters with his intensely green eyes, as if searching for something. His fluffy silver-grey tail flicked in the air in time with his thoughts. A gentle breeze ruffled his pelt, but he did not notice it. The river held his attention firmly.

Raven stared up at the sky, watching as the streaks of early-morning colors bled into the dark blue. The sunrise was beautiful, as always. She had made it a habit to wake up early just so she could see it. That was all- she could wake up whenever she wanted and just look at things, without having to go out on a dawn patrol or some other mouse-brained thing like that. Raven was fine with being a loner. Who needed a clan?

Gale tilted his head lightly to the side. "I see. Clans are weak..." He scoffed, and then shook his head. "I've never known a Clan life. It's always been me, and only me." Then he sighed. "I'm sorry. It must be terribly shocking for you, to have to live on your own suddenly like this, after losing your Clan. Do you need any help with anything?" He thought he ought to be kind to this cat.

Lydia jumped a little at the sound of Shadow's voice. She turned to him, her blue eyes wide. "Y-yes, I'm fine, your highn- I mean, uh, s-sir- wait... Sh-Shadow." She finally stammered out, and then dropped her gaze to the floor, embarrassed. It felt strange to call him by name, almost as if they were equals. "You don't need to worry about me. I've been working very hard so that my mother can rest a little longer." It was only partly dishonest- Lydia had been doing a lot of extra work the past week or so, since her mother was beginning to get a little sick. She didn't want her mother's condition to worsen, so she took on part of her workload- taking care of the garden, for example- to allow her to rest. That, however, was not quite the reason she had been scrubbing so furiously now. That was to keep her mind off of other matters. Such as the person she was currently speaking to. Lydia took a deep breath and then smiled. "Have a nice afternoon, Shadow, sir." The smile felt painfully fake, but it appeared real enough. Somehow she couldn't bring herself to say on your date.

Itsuki thought her outfit was very cute, but somehow he couldn't quite bring himself to say this out loud. He dropped his gaze to the floor, shyly. He knew that if Jun had been there, he would have poked him in the side, saying "Kicchan's got a cruuush~ So cuuute~" or something else irritating like that. For the moment, he was quite thankful that his companion was not with him. "Right, let's go..." Itsuki muttered. They stepped outside into the warm afternoon sun.

Lydia was about to open her mouth to say she didn't need to rest when she caught sight of Star walking in, her hand bleeding. As Shadow went over to question her, asking what had happened, Lydia rushed out of the room to find some bandages. She quickly returned, coming to stand by the princess, carefully taking her hand. The servant gingerly wrapped Star's hand in the bandages to stop the bleeding. "Feel better?" She asked in her gentle voice.
