Autumnheart looked down at her fish again. "It's nice... having the fresh-kill pile to ourselves. Company is nice once in a while, but sometimes it's better with fewer cats. Do you know what I mean?" She hoped he wouldn't think that she didn't like his company- because she did, very much! She snuck a glance up at the apprentice. It wasn't that long ago that she was an apprentice herself, and they would have been training together. She was only a new warrior, after all. She shyly returned to eating her fish.

ooc~ ok! Good to know! :) Ah, and I'll need to go soon.

ic~ Itsuki followed her inside, looking around. It was a nice place- at least, much nicer than he had been staying at for the past months. "It looks very nice," He said rather plainly, silently admiring the apartment. He turned toward the sound of the birds chirping. A tiny smile played upon his lips. "The sound brightens up the place," He said.

Lydia finished watering the plants and went back inside the palace. She carefully sat down in a plain chair in the dining room, finally allowing herself to take a break. She worked very hard to be a good servant to the royal family- she didn't know what she would do if they ever told her they were disappointed in her. Unconsciously, her fingers touched a silver locket that hung from her throat, feeling its familiar shape.
...No. I'm not going to think about it. I can't think about it. It's improper. It's not allowed. I can't think about him like that. She berated herself before the thoughts even had time to manifest themselves. Lydia had come to realize within the past few months that she had... feelings, but she also knew that she couldn't let herself act upon them. A relationship between a royal and a servant? She wouldn't let herself even entertain the idea. It could never happen. Never... and even if it did, it would ruin everything, wouldn't it...?

Mistyheart suddenly stopped. "Patchfoot..." She started nervously, not looking at him. She but her lip. "N-never mind. Sorry. Let's go!" She continued along the gorge, searching for prey. What was I even going to say? She thought, and shook her head.

Autumnheart stood, throwing a glance around the camp and spotting a couple of cats coming toward them. "Azurewing, Cometshine." She greeted them quietly. "Ready to go?"
The four cats went to the camp entrance and paused there. "Cometshine and I were going to check on the ThunderClan border and the forest. You and Salmonpaw check the river?" The big long-furred blue warrior, Azurewing, suggested. "Sure." Autumnheart replied. She watched as the littermates padded out into the thicker forest. Then she turned to Salmonpaw. "River it is, then? Have to make sure those fish are in line..." She purred.

Bluepaw and Moonpaw quietly ate as Emberstar stood nearby. When they were finished, they looked up at their mother, and leader. "If any other cats wish to have food, they must take it now. We must leave momentarily." She wanted to start moving as soon as possible, so they wouldn't have to travel late into the night just to reach someplace they could sleep safely.

Lydia was allowed a short break during the day, and she decided to take it just then. She knew this was probably a poor choice, as it would leave more time for her mind to wander to forbidden places, but she was rather tired, and eventually she would have to prepare dinner. She stepped into the servants' quarters, and was slightly surprised to see her mother there.
All of Lydia's family worked for the royals, though now the only members of her family that remained were her mother and Lydia herself. Her father had been killed in a freak accident, though it was said that his death had prevented a royal coming to harm, so it was seen as noble. Lydia saw little of her mother durin the day, as they did efferent sorts of jobs. Her mother worked outside, whereas Lydia was a house servant.
"Lydia." Her mother, Katrina, spoke in a calm, gentle tone. "What is troubling you, my dear?" At first Lydia would not meet her eyes, looking off in another direction, her fingers absently toying with her locket. "Ah..." Katrina smiled. She could read her daughter all too easily. "I thought this might happen. You are in love, Lydia!" "No, I am not!" Lydia shot back, in a tone much unlike her usual one. "Such thoughts are not allowable. It is inappropriate. Unacceptable." Her mother tilted her head lightly to the side and said, "Don't say that, Lydia." There was a brief silence. Lydia seemed to be struggling with her own thoughts. "You know... you are allowed to be happy, child. Think of that." Lydia's blue eyes widened at her mother's statement, and her hands clenched into nervous fists. "No! No, I am not allowed to be happy! Not like that! I am a servant!" She shouted, sounding on the verge of tears, and swept out of the room. She closed the door behind herand tried to calm her shaking breaths.
No. I am not allowed to be happy. She repeated silently to herself. I am a servant...

Mistyheart shook her head. "Nothing's wrong." She said, and it was true- nothing was wrong; everything felt right. But how could she ever tell him? And what if her feelings were unrequited? "You're a great friend, Patchfoot." She said finally.

Maplestream was just returning from a border patrol when he spotted Moontalon, emerging from the warriors' den. He broke away from the other cats and dashed over to her. "Hello, Moontalon!" He said in a spirited voice. He was always happy to see her.

Okay, I'm back now! I actually just got back from having dental surgery, so the entirety of the right side of my face is numb, yet my mouth still hurts... :(
But! This means it's a good time to work on bios. :3 I promise to work really hard, even though I don't feel the greatest.

The pending requests I currently have are for...

And ChantingVoice10, do you want two mates, one for each of your cats? I'd be happy to do that, I'm just making sure. :)

    ooc~ Shadow's one popular guy, lol ^^

ic~ Lydia rushed upstairs. She had to work. She had to get something done, to get her mind off of... that. Laundry, it was decided, would be the first thing to do. Lydia pocked up the laundry basket and then held it in the air, closing her eyes and creating a small updraft to keep it afloat beside her. It followed her like a well-trained dog into the princess's room. She picked up all of the dirty clothes from the closet and placed them carefully in the basket, and then continued into Shadow's room. Merely being in his room suddenly made her nervous. Not...allowed...no! The servant berated herself, tossing his worn clothes into the basket with a little more enthusiasm than was strictly necessary. She picked up one of his shirts and held it before her, as if she were about to fold it. Instead, she gently brought it close to her, breathing in deeply. It smelled like him. "What are you doing?!" She suddenly demanded, only to herself. The shirt was soon tossed into the basket. I can't be going on like this. My efficiency will suffer. Lydia left Shadow's room, the basket filled with laundry following obediently. Not to mention it's going to turn me into a complete basket case... He would never be happy with me, anyways. I'm a servant. I am subservient to the royal family. To them I am nothing. I am nothing. I am only good for work, and if emotions were to get in the way of that, I would become utterly useless. No more...
