A pretty silvery-white she-cat padded over to the edge of the WindClan camp. Another cat was treading with heavy pawsteps along the grass. She recognized him as Patchfoot, a fellow warrior. "Hey, Patchfoot," she called out to him. "Are you alright?" There was something about him that appeared very sad, and she felt immediately compelled to talk to him. "It's me, Mistyheart." She said, fixing him in her gentle blue-eyed gaze.

"Lonely?" Mistyheart echoed. "You don't have to feel lonely, Patchfoot. There are plenty of friendly faces around the camp. You can always talk to the other cats!" She said brightly. "...And you can always come talk to me." She added, a little more quietly.

Emberstorm padded out of the warrior's den, where she had been pleasantly napping. She went immediately over to the medicine den, where she could already see Silverpaw had come to visit her brother. "Good morning, Snowstorm, Silverpaw." She greeted them respectfully. "Snowstorm, if I may trouble you for just a moment... Do you happen to have any herbs that could relieve pain? My head has been getting worse..." It was a known fact around the camp by now that Emberstorm suffered from headaches. It was a problem that had developed relatively recently, for no known reason. The deputy had been advised to get more rest, but she still felt that her duties in the clan came first.

"I'm always here..." Mistyheart said in a low voice, blinking her clear blue eyes.There was a sort of intensity in Patchfoot's eyes that she had never quite seen before, though they had known each other for a while. "...Well, would you like to come hunting with me?" She felt her heart do an uncomfortable somersault when she met Patchfoot's gaze.

Emberstorm dipped her head gratefully to the medicine cat. "Thank you, Snowstorm..." She nodded to the apprentice as she turned. "I'm sure this will work! Thank you. And sorry to disturb you." With the bark in her mouth, she padded over to the fresh-kill pile, where she saw the leader standing. "Hello, Darkstar." She said respectfully, putting down the bark to pick up a vole in her jaws.

"Teamwork!" Mistyheart purred a laugh and bounded out across the grass toward the rabbit. She caught up to it quickly, the speed and agility that was ingrained in all of the members of WindClan paying off. In an instant she could hear Patchfoot's muted pawsteps at her side. The rabbit didn't stand a chance. She sprang for it.

Emberstorm pounced on a nearby rogue cat without a second thought. She could see fear dancing inthe enemy cat's eyes as her claws extended to rake across its flank. She released it from under her, watching as it scampered off into the darkness of the thick forest. It was surprising that such rogues would be attacking StormClan, what with the reputation it had. They must have been from relatively far away not to have heard of StormClan's fierce warriors. It was puzzling. Another rogue came at Emberstorm, and she slashed at its muzzle, scaring it off almost right away. This, she would have to discuss with Darkstar, she thought, as she watched as the last remnants of the attackers ran yowling into the trees.

Cloudfoot awoke early in the morning, as he usually did. He spent a little time organizing his stock of herbs- seeing as he had no apprentice, he had to do these sorts of tasks himself. By the time he was finished, he could hear sounds from outside his den- the camp was coming alive. He emerged from his den and limped across the clearing to the fresh-kill pile. He saw the leader of the clan, along with the honorable warrior Tansyfur, leave to go hunting. Only a couple of cats ever had to go hunting at a time, as there were not many mouths to feed. Cloudfoot took a small thrush from the pile, leaving the bigger pieces for the warriors.

Ashclaw padded over to the fresh-kill pile to see his brother there, quietly eating a tiny bird. "If you keep eatig birds, you're going to turn into one! You already eat like one." He scoffed, and Cloudfoot looked up at him with those striking pale blue eyes of his. "I do it for a reason. The warriors need to keep up their strength more than I do. You know that BlossomClan needs every warrior it has to be in the best shape. Besides... this is plenty for me." Ashclaw rolled his eyes, but said nothing more. Once his brother was decided on something, his judgement would not be swayed. And, Ashclaw had to admit, Cloudfoot was often right. He helped himself to a vole from the pile. Cloudfoot finished eating before his brother, and he padded back to his den, sitting down in front of the entrance, taking a moment to enjoy the sunshine spilling through the canopy of trees above.

I almost forgot! I should note- if anyone would like their cat to be Ashclaw's mate/love interest, feel free to let me know. :)

History: Starfeather and his sister were born as kittypets, however, they escaped from the shelter when they were both kittens. They wandered about as loaners for a while, until they came to be accepted into TreeClan. Starfeather feels that he needs to be an exceptional warrior to make up for his heritage, and as a result, he works very hard.

Moonfang padded out of the warrior's den and into the mainclearing of the camp. It was early morning, with faint streaks of grey beginning to bleed into the sky. There were few other cats out this hour, but he always awoke early. The fading moonlight threw his pitch black pelt into shadow, and illuminated his white muzzle. Usually he didn't entirely mind being up early, and alone with his thoughts, but it was beginning to feel... lonely. Moonfang sighed. At least he could be part of the dawn patrol today, perhaps.

Moonfang jumped a little in surprise. He hadn't expected anyone else to be up this early! "Patrol... Yes, patrol, right!" He said, still regaining his bearings. He looked at the she-cat, highlighted silver in the moonlight. "Would you like to come on dawn patrol with me?

The cheeriness in her reply made Moonfang's heart glow. His eyes glittered in the moonlight, reflecting his happiness. "Let us be off, then!" He said jauntily, beckoning with his nose into the deeper forest. "We can walk along the WindClan border today. It's quieter, and maybe there'll be some flowers or prey..."

"It's morning, Sunpaw." Starfeather's gentle voice and less gentle prodding from his paw woke Sunpaw. "You can't sleep in all the time; you aren't a kit anymore!" He purred and his sister groaned, rolling over. Starfeather turned and padded out of the apprentice den, as to give Sunpaw a few more minutres of sleep. He walked over to the fresh-kill pile, helping himself to a mouse. The pile was pleasantly large- the warriors of TreeClan were rather good hunters, even if they were smaller in number. Starfeather noticed a grumpy-looking ball of gold fur come dragging her feet over to the opposite side of the pile. "Good morning, Sunpaw! I trust you had pleasant dreams?" He asked lightly, but his sister, not much of a morning cat, mumbled a vague reply as she picked up a bird from the pile.

Moonfang glanced over his shoulder to see Darkflower, standing in the center of the camp. "Sure! Of course! Come along." He said, with a happy look to Sootclaw and to Darkflower. He was simply happy with the companionship!
