Eskie That sounds awesome! I was about to ask what the admin and judges thing was about. I'll be looking forward to it. As for the sick part...I'll get over it soon.

Felix Yeah, well...that's just life. I've been lucky that I haven't really been all that sick in the last year or two.

im so sorry tezzy D:
get plenty of rest bby <3

Ugh....rest....I hate being stuck in bed, but I'm resting, I promise.

I played flute in marching band and concert band when I was in middle school and high school. I'm trying to learn piano now.

[fancypost bgcolor= ; border: 0px; font-size: 9px; font: verdana; width: 400px;][sup]and piano isnt that difficult ??

Piano isn't difficult, per say. It's just that I'm use to playing the flute and its really different from the piano. I'll start a song out great, but about half way, I'll find myself trying to slip back into playing flute and will screw up the notes.

claire Well I just started learning not even a month ago. I just have to get use to it. After fifteen years of playing the flute, it'll just take some time to get use to playing something different.

My whole family is musical, though. My dad played the french horn and guitar, my great uncle and grandmother played the clarinet, my aunt played the flute, my oldest sister played the alto sax, my second oldest sister played the clarinet, my little sisters play the trombone, clarinet, and drums, one of my brothers plays the bass, and another plays violin and guitar. I also have an uncle that plays the harmonica and trumpet, too, and I have cousins who play the banjo, tuba, drums. When we're all together, we can make a lot of noise.

those drawings are rly good omg!

Thanks! Whenever I get the urge to make a new anime OC-which is just about every time I watch or read a new anime/manga-I just have to draw the OC. Rette is one of my all time favorites. Of course, I don't have all of them up on my account yet, but I'm working on scanning all the drawings. But that will take a while. There's like four sketch books full.

Here's my girl.

Honestly, how many guys in suits did a girl see in the country side?
None, that's how many.
Absinthe Sinclair, or Sinthe as she preferred to be called, had been going about her daily chores for her grandmother. Part of which included picking up the order of horse feed from the store in town. Despite it barely being past dawn, Sinthe had gotten into the old, gold and rust pick-up truck that her grandmother had given to her to drive, and had driven to the store. Even in a small, country town like Caddo Mills, not many people were out and about at six forty-five in the morning. Her truck and the car of the owner of the store, were the only two vehicles in the small eight spot parking lot when she pulled in.
She had gone inside, loaded the order onto a cart and had paid for it. When she came out, there was a simply, white pannel van sitting in the far parking space of the lot. Sinthe hadn't thought much about it. It was a common kind of van to find around the store. A lot of people in the area got the feed for their farm animals from the store. Trucks, vans...those were common place type of cars.
She should have known something was up when she saw the two guys in suits sitting on the bench in front of the store.
But Sinthe had chores to finish and didn't have time to pay attention to them. So she had simply turned her attention back to loading the feed into the back of her truck. She had been in the process of swinging fifteen pound sacks of feed into the bed of her truck when she heard the crunch of approaching footsteps. Shifting her grip on the bag in her arms, she had turned to swing it at whoever had dared to try to sneak up on her. It wasn't her most deadlist of weapons, but it was the one she had chosen to use.
All she remembered after that was a sharp pain in her neck and then the world went black. Now she found herself come back to consciousness in a groggy haze. Light blinded her as whatever she was being held in, opened. Staggering, she stepped out and instantly fell back on her butt with a grunt.
Lovely, Sinthe. Way to show some grace there.
Sinthe pressed the heel of one hand to her head and looked around. She was in some kind of warehouse with some stuffy-looking guy in a suit telling her not to try anything.
What. The. Hell.
"What the hell, Suit? Just what do ya think you're talking about? If I wasn't so groggy, I'd plant my foot where the sun doesn't shine." Sinthe retorted, her eyes flashing an icy blue with her temper.
If he thought he could get away with abducting her like that, then he had another thing coming. They had chosen the wrong girl to mess with.[/fancypost]
