    Somewhere, hiding in the shrubbery, was an invisible spirit. Nothing more than a ghost, really. She lurked in the shadows, ready to make her move. She didn't care that anyone with the sight could see her aura. After all, there were plenty of people who died here before, and surely some of their spirits remained. Demonblood was no different. She might not have died in this specific place, but she died, and she was here now. And that was all that mattered.
    She, too, would wait for a signal. But unlike the ominous bird soaring overhead, this signal would come in a less physical form. And as soon as the word was given, she would make her move.
