Charlie's eyes widened slightly as Ghost seemed to get closer and closer, inching towards her like a cat stalking prey. Was she Ghost's prey? Did he want to catch her? Because admittedly she wanted to let him, but he was like any cat she'd ever seen, they played with their meal, seeming as if to catch them, and then acting as if they could care less. Her breath caught in her throat as he spoke, unsure if she could feel his breath against her or the cool breeze of the night, she almost wished he would move closer, for she was freezing, and just a tad closer and she would feel the warmth of his body near hers....
But their conversation seemed to come to a halt as poor Lizzie seemed to startle Ghost, who must have forgotten she was there, as he unfairly came upon her as if she had done something awful, however it was over quickly and they were off, Charlie walked with Ghost, for some reason she felt immensely safer next to him, warm and with a slight dizzy feeling in the pit of her stomach, yet she was strangely content to walk in silence in the night, just the two of them, well.. with Lizzie not far ahead.
Soon enough though the path had to part ways, and Charlie was stuck having to choose with whom to follow, part of her seemed to look after Lizzie, because she was the smallest, most likely to seriously get hurt if she was to fall... but she knew she wanted to go with Ghost, and not only that, she tried to convince herself, if Ghost were to get hurt, he was... technically, more important than Lizzie. Charlie's feet had already began to move in the direction of Ghost, but that last thought caused Charlie to feel guilty, it had been unworthy to think that, and she dismissed the notion entirely, she was following Ghost because she wanted to, to say anything else was just pure lies. As she caught up to him, his confident voice seemed to float into her ears, causing her to blush warmly, thanking the darkness for covering the color her cheeks had just turned. She opted not to answer, simply concentrating on running, although she was fairly awake by now, her body was exhausted, and she could feel it crying for her to stop, every muscle ached, and many parts of her were sending shooting pain up and down her body. She gritted her teeth, not willing to show any pain in front of Ghost, but she felt her body screaming at every step.
Finally they reached a bit of a complication, and Charlie looked up nervously as Ghost talked, asking for a boost, showing her how to do it, though she knew how to do it, she just hoped her body could take it. Steeling herself for whatever weight it would be, she got into position and hardened up what muscles she had, thanking her lucky stars for Caspian's training when they were teenagers. Though Ghost only stood on her hands briefly, quickly scrambling upwards and out of her hands, she briefly wiped them on her pants, more out of habit than any actual reason, and looked up, waiting for his help. Once he was stable he reached out his hand and she hesitated, she didn't know quite why, but finally she hissed in a small amount of breath, and reached up, her hand gently clasping into his, he moved it quickly to her wrist, and gripping her tightly easily pulled her up.
Scrambling over the top of the building was completely different, as if finally realizing how much pain it was in, her arm almost gave out, and she couldn't help but yelp in pain as she used all her energy to pull herself up and over. Arms trembling from the immense energy she really shouldn't be using, she was on the verge of collapsing, but she carried on, she couldn't give up... She swallowed against her dry throat, it felt sore, Jeremy's hand was a constant memory against her throat. She walked over to where Ghost was, and was surprised as he again, started to say that she didn't have to do anything if she didn't want to. Was he just really nice? Did he REALLY know everything that had happened? Was she slowing him down and he was hinting at her to stop so he could do better? She began to say she would be able to continue on, even though she wasn't sure if she could, when Ghost suddenly dropped, grabbing her and pulling her down. Charlie resisted the urge to scream, as a terrifying shot of pain erupted in her arm, the one that Jeremy had nearly broken and torn up with his bottle the other night. Her head light and her throat suddenly tasting metallic, she almost felt like she would throw up from the pain, resting her forehead against the cold concrete of the roof, she shivered breathing softly and slowly. At this moment, death by a neurotism dart may have been preferable to the pain she had endured not 10 hours ago. She had no idea what was happening, only concentrating on not passing out from the pain. She was well aware that Ghost was beside her, and she dearly wished she could inch closer, and pass out in his embrace, feeling safe and secure, but although she was exhausted, she was conscious enough to know that wasn't a good plan.

||Aubrey Amber Stark||Initiate||Dauntless Born||16||
The night was more cold when you weren't moving, and Aubrey wished Finn were here, although she wanted to beat him in something, because this was a cooperative, team exercise, they COULD have won this together, but now only one of them would win. Although Aubrey wanted to win, she also didn't want to beat Finn, although part of her did at the same time. She watched Harper, nodding as Harper asked if they were up to it. Of course she was up to it, injury or no, cold or no, bestfriend or no, Aubrey always planned and was ready to win. She and True were close beside Harper, guns out and loaded, eyes alert, bodies nimble as they made their way through the night, they listened for the opposite team, and Aubrey could hear their own team walking around. She inwardly wished they would be more quiet, but if they were to be distracting then that would work fine as well. As long as they didn't mess everything up.
The only thing that could have made her part better is if Maverick had gone with her in this section, she glanced back to where Chris and Maverick were guarding the flag. It was high on a rooftop. She sighed, she couldn't believe Maverick was back at all, for so many years... she had believed he was dead, her first kiss, her first fling at all when she was just a child... Although she'd always been closest to Finn, no doubt in that at all, she and Maverick had always had a good connection, and she'd always looked up to him. But HOW had he survived? Aubrey's mind couldn't comprehend it as she ran beside Harper, it just couldn't be possible... Yet it was... It made her wonder about why he had disappeared then? Why hadn't he just survived with Caspian? Had he been kidnapped? Lost? Surely there was no good reason for him to hide... and... Wait had he been in Dauntless since his initiaitno? He was 2 years older than her, so he had been in Dauntless for at least 2 years then... Aubrey felt a slight bit of anger towards him in that moment, he had lived for 2 years away from them all? Had Caspian known? Charlie definitely hadn't, as her reaction to him at the train had shown quite easily. Was he in trouble? Or had he been in trouble? IT excited her to say the least, and she couldn't wait to grab a drink and talk it out with him.
Aubrey kicked a lone pebble as she ran, and she inwardly chastised herself as it bounched along, thankfully barely making a noise, she felt a red flush cover her face and ears, and kept her head down, watching where she ran now. Stop being so damn distracted by Maverick. She thought to herself, her ears listening for all and every noise that could give them a heads up of someone coming, but the other team seemed to be going just as quietly as they were. She wondered where the flag would be, but no sooner had she wondered that as a flash of light caught her attention and her eyes were drawn to what seemed to be the biggest part of the entire place.
"True.. Harper.." Aubrey whispered their names in a hissing manner, and when they looked at her she pointed up, as it was quite obvious the flag was hanging out one of the carts. Was that... Aubrey couldn't be sure, but for some reason she was sure Finn was up there.

The part of waiting was not so fun, and it was causing Chris to become agitated as he paced above the building top, Maverick was quiet, and Chris didn't really know him very well, so he had no intention of speaking to the guy, he didn't really care how he was here either. He was irritated that he was on Wesley's team and not Blair's he was worried because Indira had knifed her yesterday, with a real knife, and not only that, she had almost drowned... Right before their time together... Chris looked around from the building, his eyes set upon the ground in a scanning motion, gun in hand, he was not really a great shot, he would do better without a gun, but he knew he would probably be told off if he put the gun down, plus someone else would be able to take it if he did that. Instead he simply held it almost negligently as he stretched his muscles, he was fairly ready for anything, but possibly not what happened next.
A flash of blonde hair caught his attention from the ground nearby, and he immediately zeroed in on it, the only three people it could be was Aubrey, Blair or Cassie. But Aubrey was with Harper, and that hair was too familiar to be the Amity chick, so it was Blair. Then he heard a shot, and Blair's familiar voice cry out in pain. Chris's heart tensed up, and he immediately ran to the edge of the building, his eyes scanning for who had shot Blair. His grip tightening as he saw a familiar red headed idiot standing not too far off. Wesley. Anger boiled inside of Chris as he looked at the insolent guy aiming at Blair again, did he not know that Blair had been actually injured the day before? Without thinking, and without asking, Chris aimed his gun at Wesley, shooting a shot that seemed to bounce off the wall beside him, as if knowing he would do that, Wesley looked at him with what looked like a challenge, and Chris took it without a blink in his eyes.
Throwing his gun to Maverick, Chris swung over the side of the building, falling a few drops to an eave where he jumped off and fell to where he could see Blair, however he was aware that she was on the opposit side, and nothing he could do would take the pain away, but... His eyes turned to where Wesley stood, and with a cry of annoyance Chris ran, and without thinking he swung out with his fist, aiming for the red headed boys temple. Uncaring that he was attacking his own team member.

Lizzie near screamed as Ghost swung to her with his guns ablazing, his real guns. Heart beating wildly she simply stared at him with black eyes, waiting for either chastisement or getting hit, she had never been hit by someone in authority before. However he simply spoke harshly, was it... was it a threat? She swallowed nervously and simply nodded at his words, immediately high tailing and running a light jog ahead of him and Charlie. She hadn't meant to eavesdrop, and really had not been thinking at all about what they were saying, however it had obviously annoyed Ghost, so she made a mental point to not bother Ghost while he was with Charlie, maybe they were good friends, a couple? That seemed so unlikely, Charlie was so sweet and Ghost was so ... well scary. Once they got to a cross section, Lizzie took no hesitation in choosing the route with the smaller buildings, she had no chance if the buildings were too high for her to climb, she looked behind twice as she saw Ghost go one way, then again as she watched Charlie follow him. She wished the medic had come with her, she was nervous and wanted to please Ghost a little only if not to endure more terrifying encounters.
The buildings were a little hard to get up, each one a little higher, and each one a little further apart, her leaps were getting harder and harder to make, but she continued to do her job, plus... if she did fall... Her mind quickly shook away that thought, she couldn't do that. Suddenly her eyes watched as Blair seemed to come out of nowhere, and got shot. Lizzie skidded to a stop as she crouched at the top of a building, she was very thankful of her dark hair and skin as she watched what happened next, holding her gun tightly. What did Ghost want her to do? Find the flag? Her eyes scanned the tops of the buildlings warily, where would it be? Or should she watch the drama that was happening below? And while Chris and Wesley were making fools of themselves, shoot them both and take them out? She bit her lip nervously, eyes scanning now for Ghost and Charlie, as well as the flag.
