Alexander tilted his head back some to glance at him as he heard him speak. “That is what everyone else gets for not getting here on time. It is their fault they are late.” He joked a little. He liked keeping the mood as light as he could. He hated tense atmospheres and it showed. There were many parties that his parents threw when he was a child that he had suffered through. It was something that he had grown to despise over them. “Besides, I don’t talk to everyone as much as I am sure you do. I might be spending a good bit of time in here.” He confessed. It was rather odd, but true. He had only come because he needed the break from the city before his job started. He shifted to follow after him then. He carefully moved to the other side of the curtain and yanked it shut. It covered the window easily and helped block the view of the incoming storm. “Onto the next.” He spoke in the most enthused tone that he could. It would take him a little to fully get comfortable around the other male. While he seemed rather nice, he just didn’t know him that well.

Sorry I didn’t respond yesterday, had a migraine!))

Alexander noticed the frown that quickly came onto Ricky’s lips, but he didn’t speak on it. The more that he thought back on everything, the more that he realized that he didn’t really make the time for his friends like he would his freshman year. He had basically pushed everyone off to the side to focus on his career path. It was a common thing that he had heard about from other colleagues in his program. He guessed that could be another reason as to why he had wanted to come on this vacation. He let a gentle sigh leave him as he focused back on the other male. “That’s true.” He paused for a quick moment before choosing to not speak again. He knew that he should mention the fact that he probably wouldn’t be able to see them as much when the summer was over; but he didn’t want to push things. He cracked a smile as he walked off then. “Why thank you. That is very kind of you.” He joked a little. He ended up just going into another room to close the curtains there.

Alexander’s eyes narrowed as he looked at him, unable to help it. His father had been close minded before, but this was just showing a whole new side to him that he never knew of before. He absolutely hated it. He didn’t want to be around this man anymore. The way that he was speaking was enough to cause his stomach to turn. He hadn’t been feeling this way since his father had the nerve to kick him out of the house that one day. He was well aware now that he wouldn’t have been allowed back in if it hadn’t been for his mother. He was grateful that he had one parents that actually cared for the way he felt. If she wasn’t there, things would’ve probably been so much different than they currently were. “It isn’t wrong. Love is love. It doesn’t matter what gender you are. If you are happy with someone and love them, you shouldn’t have to be discriminated against for it. The fact that you are so close-minded about this all amazes me.” He shook his own head lightly. Normally he would’ve avoided trying to twist some due to the issues with him back, but he was in enough pain already. It wouldn’t bother him too much more.

He glanced over as he noticed his mother and Collin begin to enter the room again. He quickly focused back on his father as he continued to speak. “I can’t do this anymore. I can’t try with you. You can’t budge with me any.” His voice broke some. It was easy to see how frustrated and upset he was due to this all. Tears finally began to form in his eyes. He tried to stop them, but they began to spill onto his cheeks. “I’m not hungry anymore.” He muttered. He shoved his food away from him and reach a shaking hand up to rub at his eyes. “I want to go lay back down Col.” He turned his head to look at his boyfriend. He was defeated at that moment and really just couldn’t argue with him anymore. “It was great to see you again mom.” He didn’t even acknowledge his father. He just waited for Collin to help him get standing. When he did, his entire body was shaking. The remnants from being naked up earlier were still there. He knew that he would be on quite a bit of pain tomorrow as well. He just slowly began to walk off then.

Alexander quickly nodded his head in agreement as he heard his words. There were multiple doctors that he had dealt with over time that had been terrible. He had gone through enough over the years to know for sure who was the best or who was not. “I don’t think that Jake would’ve let you not be on his team. It will make him feel more confident having someone that he loves with him.” He pointed out. He knew that he felt much better having Collin around him while he had gone through his treatments. Just Raelen being with Jake would probably make much more of a difference that the other male would realize. “I’m sure it is really weird. I don’t know how I would feel being the one giving people the drugs.” He had gone through so much that it might not be as odd as he thought it would be. He was rather numb to everything that occurred over the years. He didn’t even feel it when he was given treatments anymore, unless the dosage was much stronger than he was used to.

He shifted to be closer to Collin then, wrapping his arms carefully around his waist. He rested lightly against the other male as well. Being near Collin always made him feel much better than he could voice. “Good. We are looking forward to getting out of there. I can’t wait until I have an actual kitchen to learn how to cook in.” He confessed. He glanced up at his husband then with a smile. He allowed a laugh to leave him when he heard Raelen’s comment about another Lola. He knew that they didn’t need the extra stress on top of everything else that they were already going through. He knew that they should be able to officially move out when they got the results back from Collin’s most recent scan. He was praying that everything was finally clear. He knew that his own scans were finally getting clear. They were probably the clearest that they had ever been. His eyes widened some. “How were they?” He exclaimed before Collin could even speak about it.

Alexander’s expression softened as he listened to him. He loved hearing about all of the things that the other male did during the beginning of his time here. Everything seemed to have flown by and thinking back on it always brought a smile to his face. “I love being able to hold you. At least I will be able to while you are basically out of commission. I am glad that I can be here for you during this. You wouldn’t have gotten hurt like this if you hadn’t been involved with me, but that is a conversation for another time.” He wrote, knowing Collin wouldn’t be happy with the last words he wrote. He felt like he needed to say them though, well more like write them. “I will always think of you as attractive. I would think of you as attractive, even if you went bald. I am just so lucky to be with you. I love you so much Collin.” He lifted his arms and blew him a kiss then. He let out a deep breath then, making a few odd noises due to the issues with his throat. “I hope so. My hand is cramping.” He tried to joke some a little then.

He seemed to perk up as he listened to his words. He really was looking forward to all of the adventures that they would be able to go on once they were healed and living together by themselves. He was only hoping that Collin’s parents wouldn’t mind the idea of them doing so. He knew that they were probably freaked out due to everything that had just happened. He would’ve been the same way if he was in their shoes. “I can’t wait. There are so many places that I want to go with you.” He scribbled and looked at him with a grin. His smile quickly faded and his eyes widened when he heard his next comment. “I love my grandma, so much, but I would smack you if you ended up sounding like her. I might cry.” He joked once more. He wasn’t making his responses as long as he had before, but he was sure the other male would understand. He adjusted a little in the chair and tries to adjust his hold on his hand some. He smiled at him once again. “I love you Col. Besides, I definitely want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

okie dokie :) here is the baby. i am sorry for the headcannons being short, i normally build as i go lmao))

Alexander was gazing over at him with affectionate eyes. There had been many times in this past year where things had been tough for them. He was rather surprised that Collin hadn’t broken up with him before. He knew that they had technically broken off their engagement, but it only lasted a little while. He knew that he couldn’t be without him for too long. He wouldn’t have been able to handle it if they haven’t gotten together. He truly loved the other male with every ounce in him. “And I you. I was just too nervous to talk to you at first. But now look at us. We are married and we are on our honeymoon.” He spoke in a gentle tone. He shifted to press a quick kiss to his cheek once again. He stuck closer to him then. “Me either. Thank you for being you. You are perfect in my eyes.” He murmured. He was grateful that things had balanced out between them over time. He was also grateful that his parents loved the other male so much.

He quickly followed after the other male, keeping his eyes on the shelves as they walked. There were tons of things that he hadn’t seen before. He wanted to stop and examine some things closer, but Collin kept walking. He just hurried with him then. He finally stopped when they found the journals. He narrowed his eyes a little before he tilted his head and looked to the other male. “Okay, thank you baby.” He stated before he began to look through the journals. He found a smaller one that he could keep on him at all times and then a normal sized one for all other times. He was sure that he would need to get some more eventually, but this would do for now. He looked back to him and held up the journals. “I found these. They should be good for now.” He informed. He moved towards him and began to lead the way towards the counter. He made sure to get some currency exchanged before they had come over. He put everything down and pulled some money out to pay for it all.

Alexander kept his gaze on him, a light smile on his lips. It was nice to be able to spend time with someone that didn’t seem to want to throw him into a wall constantly. There were multiple things that his ex had done that truly terrifies him. Being with the other male helped get his mind off of it. Everything that had happened today had been quite a lot for him. He was just appreciating the change in mood with Collin. The other male had been acting like his ex at the beginning of the day, but now he was a completely different person. His smile only grew when he began to speak more on his tattoos. “That would be so cool! I have thought about getting tattoos, but I can never decide which one me I would want.” He confessed. He hoped that Collin would let him see the full sleeve sometime. He knew that it would force him to take his shirt off though. He didn’t want to push things too much. “I really love it.” He assured. There was truly just something about the other male.

“Of course. I like to be honest. It is a lot easier to do so than to hide things.” He explained. He didn’t want for Collin to be worried that he didn’t mean it all. “Well I am glad I gave you and extra chance. I am also glad I didn’t die earlier so I could get the chance to know you better.” He spoke with a laugh. He shifted to get more comfortable on the couch, glancing towards Collin as he noticed the other male adjusting as well. He was a bit surprised to see that he was getting closer, but he didn’t make any comments on it. “I just hate getting scared.” He stated. He used to watch them all the time with his ex. That all had caused him to change his opinion on them as well. He tossed the remote to the side before he grabbed a blanket. It was large enough to cover both of them. He moved it to where the other male could have it if he wanted to. He just cuddled into the blanket and focused on the movie some. His own eyes began to fall shut after a little bit. He didn’t realize how tired he was.

    it’s okay! :) ))

Alexander glanced to him with a smile on his lips as he heard his words. “I can definitely tell. It is a nice change from the people I normally have to be around.” He confessed. The internship that he had been a part of in his last semester was the same job that he was going to be starting soon. He wished that the people were better, but he couldn’t force people to change if they didn’t want to. He couldn’t wait until he worked his way up in the ranks and got a promotion. “Why thank you. I do pride myself on making good decisions.” He joked a little. He was trying to improve his own mood. He didn’t want to keep them down due to everything that was happening in his personal life. “No, I am enjoying this. We can just explore the house while we close the curtains.” He offered. He flinched some when he heard a loud clap of thunder. He knew the storm must only be getting closer then.

okay! :) here is my baby, let me know if you want me to change his age or anything!

lemme tell you, every single one of these plots is fantastic! i looked through them for at least ten minutes arguing with myself over which i want to do lmao

i would love to do the criminal plot with you! the angst of his past coming back to get him and the softness is what i live for. i am fine with either muse too if you want a specific one :)
