Wyldfir: (say "Wildfire")
Wyldfir is a young, fiery, adolescent she-wolf with an increasingly bad temperament and an age of about a year and a half. Her fur is pure white, and could be described as beautiful if it wasn't blood-stained red in places. One of her eyes is white, the other is a deep grey, not unlike the colour of ash from a charcoal fire. Where her left ear once was is a ragged scar across the side of her head.
She is loyal, playful and fearless (if rather violent, irresponsible, cub-like, slightly insane and altogether too happy to beat up her peers) and whilst she is infamous among the packs to the north, she prefers (not unwisely) to stay mysterious to the wolves of this area. Very few wolves know much about her and she is determined to keep it that way. Wyldfir is a fae with a lot to hide, and she'll do anything to hide it.
Needless to say, she won't say a lot about her history, even when she's pushed - if she's asked, she tells them that her name is Wyldfir, that she chose to leave her pack in the north, that soon afterwards some wolves came in the night and brutally slaughtered almost the whole pack.
What she doesn't say is that she was one of them.
She had once thought she'd escaped with it. However, the one survivor - a cub small enough to escape the notice of Wyldfir's posse - ran to another pack for refuge from the 'bad wolves'. The majority of the northern wolves at the time were grizzled or grey wolves, so it didn't take long to figure out who the 'white one' the cub kept whimpering about was.
The only white wolf in the area was the youngest daughter of the murdered Alpha, Faria. She, coincidentally, had been outcast by her father a few days before the attack. It was rumoured that he told her that the cubs of his first litter (he'd had two, Faria being of the second) would inherit first, and when he finally went ahead and sent them to apprentice as Betas and Deltas with another pack - a great honour in her pack, and one she'd never get - it was the final straw. In her head, she was the best one for Alphaship and things soon got nasty. The gossip spread fast. It only took seconds for the council of elders to figure out who did it.
By sunset Faria was running for her life. Pursued by a band of warriors, right out of the mountains. Never to be seen by her previous pack again. She was last seen by the pack heading southwards.
A few moons ago, a few of Shadow pack's warriors found a wounded, bleeding, scarred cub on the northern border of the territory. They took 'Wyldfir' in, feed her, healed her, and even tried to train her to fight, though by that time she'd already learned the hard way and could take out any other
apprentice they tried to put her up against. Before long she could even take out some of the warriors. She was quickly promoted to a fully fledged warrior, then to Beta, finally to Alpha, and now lives outside the camp in a self-dug den, which she likes to refer to, affectionately, as her "evil lair of evilness". (The disturbing thing is that nobody in this pack is sure if she's joking about that or not.)
