ic:Christian was intense, even for a puppy of his age and physique. He was the kind of character who refused to abide in a lifestyle of weakness, the kind of persona who wouldn't give up on a task that involved laborious deeds. And he was the kind of dog who would seek revenge for something until he attained it, even if his life was cost after the deed was done. And so there he was, training, forcing himself to be better and stronger and faster so that one day he could return to BloodClan and rip out the heart of the one who'd tortured him, neutral or not. Because the idiot that had done the damage to him deserved it, and would be receiving no mercy from the Border Collie.
Curling his lip, Christian stalked around the territory, his eyes flickering for a formidable opponent to face off with. He had been hunting for something or someone to practice on for forever, and would finally be diving after one this very day. After all, what better way of training than to use live bait? His head was lowered to shoulder height, paws creating little echoes in the emptiness of where he was. And that was when he saw it. It was a fox, with red fur distinguishable from the natural darkess of the night. It was sniffing around for food or something of the sorts, and it appeared that it was bent over an NPC body with Insignian scent on it. It was somewhat quiet as it pawed at the body, but when it scented Christian lifted its head, ears shoved forwards and lips peeled back. It growled low in its throat and began to approach the pup, who it assumed would be easy pickings. Stupid fox.
Once it was in close enough range of the Border Collie, Christian opened his mouth and snarled, lunging for the animal. While it was swift enough to dodge around the puppy's somewhat less agile movements, the ex-RiverClanner wasn't fazed. He landed several feet away, spinning on his toes and leaping again. At that attempt his teeth made contact with the skin of the fox's lower neck, and he bit down hard the same way he had when Delaney had tried to touch him. The fox yelped in pain, snapping sharp teeth at Christian to try and pry him away. And though he felt the sharp teeth piercing through his thin layers of skin and fur, the pup didn't cease his attack. He merely dug his pointed canines in deeper to the fox so that it began to bleed excessively. The fox whined more, snapping repeatedly in sharp nips at Christian, who continued to try and ignore the pain forming in the various spots where his skin was torn. He instead kept a firm grip on the neck of the beast, using a paw to scratch at its face and distract it from defending itself.
With his steel grip around the fox's neck, Christian snarled and began to pull. He tugged at the fox, ripping through more skin and tightening his hold. But he was dragging the fox backwards, towards the walls of the enclosure where The Insignia made its habitat. Whining all the while, there wasn't much the fox could do at this awkward angle but dig its heels into the ground and try to free itself. Christian, however, kept shaking his head to loose the fox from the earth each time it tried to parry, and his small muscles were flexed as they worked at helping him to drag the slightly larger animal away. When he was in close enough range to the nearest wall, Christian flung his head up, releasing the fox so that it slammed into the building. His eyes narrowed, the growing dog approached the stunned fox, leaping for him once more and snapping his jaws around its upper neck to finish the job.
He left its corpse, hardly bleeding but still broken, near the wall. "I kill fox. Vengeance to fallen Clan member made."
