[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] man i have NOT been active
happy bday!! -
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] "I truly hope you feel better soon, miss Sutton!" Jake called as he padded over, taking a seat. "And I'm sure you'll do a bang-up job, sir Subaru!"
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Jake offered a small grin and chuckle at Subaru, finding it amusing. His grandmother had not been a stranger to foul language, so it had just popped out, as much as he tended not to swear in front of others.
He wilted a bit at Damon's comment, averting his emerald-hued eyes. He didn't know how else to talk, really. It was how he had spoke for his entire life. "I do realize my speech patterns are a tad bit catawampus but, egad, I had not come to the conclusion that they would be a dilemma!" He offered, his voice soft, unlike his usual upbeat tone.
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Jake hobbled his way on over, careful not to apply too much pressure on his still-healing leg. He came to a stop near Magnolia, shooting the girl a warm, friendly smile, before focusing on his new leader. He couldn't find it odd, really, that Subaru was leader, seeing as he was rather new.
"I've made note of it!" He confirmed, lashing his tail. New ranks and such? How intriguing!
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] ((sorry for the late reply!!
Jake didn't notice Will's surprise at his vocabulary. In fact, he never noticed that he talked odd, unless someone pointed it out to him. He just assumed that they were able to understand him, which they could, unless he started rambling, which he often did. He listened to him intently, then laughed softly.
"Well, great Caesar's ghost! I hadn't the faintest clue that my bluster of a leg could receive so many ill symptoms." He then brightened at the prospect of hunting. "Of course! Hunting is an activity I enjoy very much, and I'd love to have a hunting partner!"
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Jake knew what it was like to be a joiner. In fact, it wasn't all too long ago he was one himself! Granted, his greeters had been a tad bit more friendly then Branwen, but Maggie had been there and she was very nice!
He trotted over, offering the newcomer a warm, friendly smile. "Well, I bet my bottom boonbuck you're a newcomer! Egad! I do welcome you to this lovely Tribe of ours and for frig's flippin' sake, please have a ripsnorter of a time!"
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] At the little puff of air, Jake good-naturally cast Maggie a small grin, before turning back to Amaryllis. He was really only sensitive about his speech when it was vocally and rudely pointed out, and Maggie was nice, so he didn't mind.
"Eureka! It seems it slipped my noggin to introduce myself!" He laughed softly, then dipped his head. "I apologize for my dadblasted prattling. My name is Jake English! It surely is an everfriggin' please to meet you!"
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Jake was, sadly, aware of Magnolia's resentment of eating meat. Hell, he was careful not to eat around camp anymore due to her reaction to it, and made sure to wash any of the scent and blood off before he came back. He still felt guilty about that one incident.
"Salutations, dear Maggie!" He called in a chipper manner as he walked over, his gaze flicking to her mouse, and his face fell a bit. Poor girl. He took a seat next to her, offering her a grin. The brown marbled tabby decided that perhaps he should help take her mind off of it! "How are you faring on this ripsnorter day?"

-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Jake really could be a lot like a child sometimes. Especially since he had found a box of stuffed animals human children played with off at the edge of the territory. He really had tried to resist the urge to play with him, he had! But god dammit, here he was, at the edge of the territory, playing with a bunch of plushie animals.
"You shall be known as.... Bartholomew! Bartholomew my ripsnorter of a knight!" He pointed out to an elephant stuffed animal, nodding his head. "And I am King Jake English, lord of.... uh... The Stuffed Kingdom! Brilliant!" He giggled a bit, then took a seat before his animals. "My dear gents and ladies and those of other gender orientations! Hear my words!" He prattled on like that for a bit, looking greatly pleased of himself.
-
[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Jake was kind of a major dork, really. In case it wasn't obvious with how he spoke all the time. He would usually deny the statement that he was, insisting he was "rugged" or "cool as a cucumber", but that's what he was. A gigantic dork.
This showed as played with a bunch of brightly colored birds in the jungle. It was obvious he had no malicious intent, he was simply playing, bouncing up and down and giggling with the birds. It was cute, really.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] It was a wonder Milwaukee had even made it to the border of the Empire of Sartaq. He was hella sleepy, yawns periodically coming out of his maw, his sun-colored eyes fighting to stay open. The stench of alcohol wafted from him if one were to take a close sniff, barely noticeable, but still there. The sleepy drunk.
The orange tabby glanced behind him lazily, licking his ebony lips and sighing. "Yo, Trention, where da furrick you at?" He called out disinterestedly, then plopped down into a sitting position to wait.

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Consarn it all, Jake had really been hoping the Empire of Sartaq would be a good fit for him! Maggie and Will had been so awfully nice to him, and he felt bad for just up and departing the jungle Clan just like that! But, he supposed, it just hadn't been right. He was a man of adventure, damn it, and he could not sit still like some trollycar bellwether in the ruff 'n' tumble year of nineteen aught nine!!!
The brown marbled tabby approached the border with a cheery smile, eyes as green as emeralds flashing with warmth in the crisp sunlight. Truly, it was a marvelous day! Was it raining in his old jungle home of the Empire? He certainly would not miss all the blasted wetness! He took a seat, his grin widening. ¨Hello? Dash it all, I truly do pray that someone's here!¨

[fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; text-align: justify; width: 350px;] Hal had been shooed off by its fathers. That was the whole story, really. It wasn't too upset, though. After all, they certainly had not been expecting it to actually take off! It was a good thing it had the bond with Dirk, for that was the only way they had still had means of communication.
It arrived at the border, fixing its shades before waiting. It looked a bit like Dirk, except shorter, and pure white instead of Dirk's flame point pelt. "Hello?" It called out, tipping it's head to the side.
