Santiago didn't like being insulted by anyone. Even if it didn't seem like an insult, it was indirect and focused at Santiago. "Amigo, what I don't understand is if you were Columbine's mentor, then why aren't you praising her amazing victories? Instead, you are threating exposing the mansion to all! Also, I don't believe she shunned you. She is simply protecting herself and the Elite because you are making the threats. Perhaps if you are more welcoming, Columbine would be more welcoming to you." Santiago wondered if Tundraclaw was even listening. He saw Chimera stroll in and greeted him. "Hello Chimera." As Chimera placed the rabbit at Tundraclaw and Santiago's feet, Santiago politely declined the offer. "No thank you. I just ate. You can have it, Tundraclaw."

Hawkfur took a breath. "OK, Honeypaw. You can stop." Hawkfur was surprised at Honeypaw's skills, but of course, anything can be improved. "I am amazed at your skills. You know much for your age. Yet, you still need to work on some things. However, you seem to know basic defensive moves and attacks. Well done."
"Perhaps we can start learning some of the sheathed and unsheathed claw attacks before we...um...do something else." Hawkfur had a surprise planned for Honeypaw, and didn't want to give it away. Hopefully, her apprentice wouldn't notice. "Today, I'll teach you the front paw blow and front paw strike."

Osprey stopped in his tracks when he heard the word "daddy." Osprey realized that the cat was offering to be his dad. Osprey considered and then said to the cat, "No way! I'm a cat who walks by myself!" Osprey remembered hsi mom and dad say to him that before they left. They said to him, "You are now a cat who walks by himself." and left him when he was old enough to stop drinking his mother's milk. Osprey knew he would have to leave here soon. He moved from place to place and would see cats from everywhere. That was his dream: to be a cat who traveled the forest meeting new cats and places.

Santiago followed Holocaust into the kit-bearer's room. She told him she was going to introduce him to a friend of hers. She didn't say who, but any friend of Holocaust was good with him! He followed her in the room and looked around at all the kits and mothers. He saw Chaos in the room and dipped his head as a hello. He didn't have time to stop and chat though...Holocaust probably didn't want to wait.

OOC- Ya, you'll see ;)
IC- Hawkfur smiled at Honeypaw. She decided to start by teaching her a sheathed claw attack: the front paw blow. This was Hawkfur's signuture move, next to another move that Honeypaw would be taught near the end of her apprenticeship. "OK, Honeypaw. Let's start out with the front paw blow. This move seems easy, but you need great speed and agility to master it. Of course, you ARE WindClan, so it may come easier to you. Now, to do the front paw blow, you jump up in the air and focus all your weight into one of your front paws. Then slam that paw into your oppenent's head, claws sheathed." Hawkfur demonstrated by leaping into the air and quickly falling to earth and slamming her front right paw on the ground. "You need to be quick with this move, becuase if you aren't your oppenent has time to dodge it, since this move can be really easy to dodge. Try the front paw blow on the ground here." Hawkfur flicked her tail toward the patch of soil and directed Honeypaw to attempt the move.

Osprey is a hyper and playful kit. He is almost always running. However, that seemed to change when he entered the Black Forest. Everything was so big, and he was scared. He walked in it for a little bit, but when he tried to turn around to leave, he found himself lost. He was terrified of all the noises that the night made. He didn't want to be here...he wanted to go home. But he didn't have a home. He was a loner: a cat who walkd by himself.

Osprey knew he couldn't stay here for long. He was full and well-rested. he had to keep moving. It was time to leave. "Time to go! Bye-bye Chuckie! Bye Serena!" Osprey ran full speed out of the barn. He didn't even look back; he only looked at what lied ahead of him and what lied ahead in his future.

Santiago tried to recall the cat they were talking about...Pompeii. Was it a friend of Holocaust? He couldn't remember. He took a look at Chaos again. He was quite huge. How could such a cat become so...huge? Perhaps he was always exercising, or maybe he was born that way...? No, that can't be. Well, either way, he was huge. However, he didn't seem threating to Santiago. As unrealisitic as that sounded, Santiago didn't understand why either. Perhaps it was because he knew he was a mansion cat and that he didn't care to bother him? Santiago's intentions kept telling him he should be fearing him, but he couldn't get to such a state.

Cat's Name: Owl of the New Moon (Owl)
Cat's Age: 6 moons
Gender: Tom
Alliance: Tribe of The Burning Eclipse
Position: Kit
Appearance:
Owl is a young hazel colored tabby. His underbelly is white and so are his paws. His eyes are hazel as well. He is a small sized tom.
Personality:
Owl is very devoted to his tribe. He doesn't really think before he speaks. This can result in him hurting a cat's feelings on accident. However, he really cares for his friends. He is a bit stubborn. He always believes that he knows what to do and that he is always right. Owl loves to show off, too. Whenever he gets a chance, he'll do it. However, hubris is one of his biggest troubles in life.
History:
Owl's parents are Poppy of Blooming Bush and Branch of Rustling Tree. As a kit, he was so eager to become a To-Be. He always pretended to be chasing away an enemy or hunting for a mouse. Trouble is, he could never decide what kind of position he wanted to train for as a To-Be. Many of his friends knew what they wanted to be before their To-Be ceremony. Yet, as Owl's ceremony draws near, he still has no idea. Owl figures that whatever it will be, he'll be happy with it. Owl's parents always had a secret interest in the NightClan belief. Owl, however, didn't believe in it. He believed in Moonclan, like the other tribe cats. He never told any of his friends his parent's beliefs. He feared that they would hate him if they knew.
Roleplay Sample:

Comments/Other:
(Owl's first thread appearance will, in fact, be in a To-Be ceremony, so that explains why he is still a kit at 6 moons.)
-
Clan cats can be captured. And they could get away, but the mansion cats would get to him before he reached his clan, plus your cat would suffer. Those are the rules. However, that would be an interesting plot. However, I'm guessing Yew already has plans of when the mansion will be discovered, if it ever does.

Osprey turned around, and tried to run. However, the unknown cat had him held down. Osprey struggled against the cat's paw, but it was too big to move. Osprey had to be brave, though. This cat could do some harm to him if he didn't stand up for himself. Osprey tried to hold himself back fom crying and pleaing him to let him go. However, as soon as Osprey looked into the cat's eyes, he was filled with fear. "O-O-Osprey..." He told the big tom. "Please don't hurt me...I'm alone and lost! Let me go!" The little kit started struggling against the cat's paw again.

Hawkfur observed Honeypaw as she landed on the ground and, unexpectingly, lost balance. Hawkfur expected this. "I had the same problem when I was your age. The move itself is good. You don't have any problem shifting the weight into your paw. Trouble is, you have some trouble balancing yourself after impact. Let's try this...." Hawkfur directed Honeypaw toward a young bush growing at the edge of the hollow. New-leaf was near, and the bush was still young. Luckily enough, it was the size of an avarage sized cat. It was a perfect training target! "Let's say this bush is...I'm going to use the ShadowClan example again. Let's say this bush is a ShadowClan invader. Perhaps using an actual target may improve your results. Now, try the move again on the bush's "head," but this time, try to land on your back legs after impact. Landing on them afterwards balances yourself better. Remember, you need to master this move in order to perfect the front paw strike."

I need a tribe mentor for my soon-to-be To-Be, Owl of the New Moon. To be honest, I'm not sure what position he'll be yet, so...surprise me! xD In other words, any type of mentor can mentor Owl. I don't have a post minimum requirement, but I'll judge your normal RPing.

Osprey started to cry when he heard the word death. He didn't want to die! He was only a kit! He started to cry and call for help. He started to bite the cat's paw. He tried everything to get away. Then the cat mentioned a second option. "W-What is it...?" Osprey sniffled to the big cat.

Santiago was pacing around the mansion's fence, looking for any new cats to bring into the mansion. Santiago couldn't see any in the view, so he sat down for a second to take a rest. He looked out at the scenery...the trees were tall and rustling in the wind and the sky was ipen and full of no clouds. Santiago then looked down at a puddle many fox-lengths from the spot he was sitting. Santiago looked oddly at the puddle. He made sure he wasn't seeing this, then realized a small kit was curled up in the puddle! Santiago rushed to the puddle and picked up the kit by the scruff. The poor thing was so cold! It needed milk too!

Santiago looked at decaying body. He turned away quickly. Santiago may have been a mansion cat, but the sights of death and murder scared him. The smell was overpowering too. "Can we go see your friend now?" Santiago wanted to get far away from the dead corpse. Smells and sights of death would be burned inside his memory now, but mansion cats were supposed to be used to death, so why wasn't Santiago?

Hawkfur watched as Honeypaw's paw heavily hit against the bush's "head," and watched as she landed on her back legs. She balanced perfectly! "Well done! That was excellent!" Hawkfur's praised her apprentice. "Now, let's make it a bit harder. Remember how I said that the front paw blow and strike can be easily dodged? Well, you need good speed that allows you to fall like a rock. This isn't easy to master, so don't feel bad if you don't do it very quickly the first time. Let me teach you a trick my mentor taught me..." Hawkfur moved in front of Honeypaw to face the bush. "If you fall at an angle, you have greater speed as you fall. The trick is to tilt yourself a bit so toward the direction in which you are facing down. This makes you fall faster and you are less likely to have your attack dodged, however, it is harder to balance." Hawkfur demonstrated by leaping high, then tilting her body so she was falling at about a 75 degree angle, and she struck the head, then stretched out her back legs, and landed on the ground. "Give it a try."

Awesome! I guess Wolf will be Owl's mentor then! I'm sure that Owl will be an awesome prey-hunter, but of course, Wolf is the huntmaster. I'm going to start by posting in the ceremony thread of the tribe, since Owl is still a 6-moon kit according to his bio. I'll tell the leader that'll you'll be the mentor. Let me go post and give you a link...

Owl of the New Moon entered the den to meet all the other cats. Owl was about to become a To-Be, but he had no idea what position he'll be. That'll depend on the mentor he gets. Owl wondered when he'll be called up to become a To-be...
OCC: Owl of the New Moon is going to be a Prey-Hunter To-Be and his mentor is going to be Wolf. Rainy said she wanted Wolf to mentor Owl, and if you want a link to the Need-A-Mentor thread, I'll give it to you, if you want.
