It was either getting the bite or getting rammed into. It wasn't like the spirit felt the pain, but he knew Grim would be feeling it later. He then used his elemental manipulation to make the earth underneath him to fling him up into the air to dodge the attack. Landing on the ground a good distance away, the spirit then [color=#76B07A]tried to use his sound manipulation to send out a large high pitched scream to disorient the leader before running back over to attempt an attack on him.

The bad was giant rock pillars. With an annoyed grunt the spirit decided on doing something risky. Looking deep inside themselves, the searched for a body to shape shift into. Suddenly, they changed into a rhino and barreled into the pillar in an attempt to knock it down, or at least shake a small amount of of rock onto the guy. In the process, however, a fierce ringing shook it's mind, making the spirit grumble. Their own prosthetic had been crushed in the process of shifting, and the suddenly changing aspect had caused a great strain on their strength.
