Sath looked up with a semi-startled expression -though how he could have missed the approach of a dragon no body would ever know- but he immediately dipped his gaze upon the approach of the Morning Star. Because this was technically his son's body and everything in the mortal world was still relatively new, the high lord didn't know how to behave around people whom he would normally be bowing to under other circumstances. Especially when those people were now clan members. This rang through especially true when taking into account any of his interactions with Frag; whom he still referred to in speech as The King, 'your majesty' or 'my liege'. This had been fine while they were still in Thunderclan and Frag was vice-leader. The looks weren't so weird back then.
But in Bloodclan the King of Hell was a nobody. Well no, he was still the King of Hell and an exile of Thunderclan; murderer of hundreds. But that wasn't the same as the presence and title he carried in Hell. And this was an incredibly similar situation. The High Lord cast his white gaze about, before finally looking upwards. He wasn't frightened exactly, but meeting the Morningstar had a completely different meaning for a mortal then what it did for a demon. "my sleep patterns range from erratic to completely nonexistent sir. In this case, you will probably continue to see me up early. I also happen to prefer silence over crowds of people; by getting up early I get some time to myself- not that your company isn't appreciated!" the feline murmured in alarm, before sighing and rolling his eyes, "apologies, I am still unused to all of these mortal customs. But if I am up early to avoid others, why might you be up sir?"
