Looks ⊲

Patches is an extremely patched calico, (tortoiseshell with white). Her fur is medium and fluffy. She has quite distinct patches compared to a regular calico, but she takes pride in it. She has soft, almost pastel green eyes that sparkle with grace. Her paws are small and soft and her claws are white and sharp. Her ears are thin and visible with veins. She has white, almost invisible whiskers and a satin pink nose as well as the pads on her feet. She has a long, fluffy tail.

Personality ⊲

Patches is a respectable kit. She will do what is asked so long as the one who asks her is also a respectable member. If she feels the person in charge is disrespectful or has lead to extreme inequality, you will know. Patches has a sharp tongue and a clever mind when she wants. She is very persuasive and rarely admits guilt. She lies because she is good at it and has since she learned to talk. She is sweet and adorable but has an undertone of sass.

History ⊲

She was born on a farm just east of a small town called Newsburry. She grew up with her two brothers and mother, always on watch. The locals weren't to fond of strays, and seemed to take them away from their homes. One day Patches' brother, Yen, was playing in the barn on a lonely street when a "catcher" snuck up on Yen and took him. The small family couldn't do anything to save Yen, and from then on Patches' life became even more sheltered. She wasn't allowed to go play in the barn, or even hunt. Her mother would do the hunting and she had to stay in their burrow with her other brother, Ginger.

One day, during snowfall, Ginger became very ill. Patches tried her best to keep him warm, becoming selfless. The young tom had a full recovery, but Patches had now changed. She saw the world differently by noticing how close she was to losing him. She realized that death could be so near and a small amount of help could make all the difference.

A couple moons later, spring began. Ginger and Patches were older and were now allowed to play just outside the burrow. They were finally happy and content. However, one day, their mother did not come back. The kits waited in their burrow for three days before becoming too hungry to bare it. They were clumsy at hunting, but eventually Ginger caught a baby chipmunk, and they feasted. The kits again waited at their burrow. After a week of desperate waiting and hope, they realized she was gone.
