For a short time there was nothing but sound of breathing and pacing, in the sand landscape. "I'm not waiting." Alpha said almost determined. "He could be lost for all we know and we'd end up dead if we stay out here too long."

The snake that now held the eggs in some dort of 'hug' didn't move.

Well, Alpha didn't know what to think, a part of him was suprised, another part vexed and something he wasn't quite sure of himself. Was this something he could add to the flux of emotions he was feeling for several minutes.

Yes, yes he can but he just staid silent and stared. He wasnn't fully aware of the small dot in the distance or the rotting smell that had come up.
    "Y-you're alri...ght?"

"I don't mind." Malthe said looking back at the other dog for a short while. She smiled to herself, while the other dog wásn't persay 'prey', she did enjoy the thought of having someone travel with her.
Well cannibalism is an option she thought but quickly shook her head at that thought.

    "So what's your name?"

The sun lowered itself behind the mountains that surrounded Ashintar. As the sky slowly turned dark lamps on the wall around Ashintar were lit. Guards made their rounds atop the gate and through the city.
With lights attatched to their harness guards let their eyes spot nearly every nook and cranny of the Streets.
Near the checkpoint lay a huge amount of dogs, most of them sleaping some anxious about entering the gate at the next Sunrise.

The sound of the small cage with light clinging against the harnass, softly klang into Leon's ears. He together with another guard walked through the narrow Streets of the North. His partner noticed the constant frown on his face "Something the matter Leon?" "Nothing you should worry about."

Wyn looked ahead of her, the large road leading to the city showed her the checkpoint Morekraai. There she also saw the great group in front of the checkpoint, she also heard soft yips and barks.
    "Shhh!"
Some in the group were still awake, even talking to eachother while other canines slept. "Oh, sorry!"she whispered when she bumped into someone.

Varen stretched her leg and looked at the group behind her "Now everyone it's time to go out and hunt." she said before walking through the checkpoint and onto the beaten path avoiding the sleeping canines.

There were few dogs dwandeling down the street, some furs clean most dirty. Though it didn't seem to bother the guards who made their usual rounds.

Standing outside a still standing building was a chubby Airedale Terrier, up above him hung a sign inviting anyone who passed rest could be found there.

Many like these, staid open the entire day others having their own closing time in which customers may enter, and some asking for higher prices.
The Terrier ruffled his fur and turned around to close the doors for the night.

The further they ran the less the snakes followed and instead focussed on the two wolves in the sma;; but deep water.

Alpha didn't actually look back when he dind't hear the snakes following anymore. He stopped when the sand under his feet changed to rock and grass.
The desert stopped at the foot of dry grass.

Now breathing heavily Alpha sat down and only glanced back.

Alpha was torn, he could go back out there and try to help Dark and Celestine but on the other hand, so many things happened in one day that he didn;t want to go back.
He sighed, head low and thinking. He really didn't want to go back there.

As the snakes went on trying to kill anything on land and in water there was one snake carrying the eggs which were inside. Faint smoke was rising from the hole the egg carying snake came out of, and that one snake caught attention of some of the others.

"We should go ahead....and rest at some point. If there's a chance of them being alive they might find us." he stood up and walked. Not waiting for an actual reply.

The dog turned around "Ey, if you get inside quick enough." he said stepping aside for the white wolf.
His ears were hanging down but his expression showed nothng more than a calm, monotone expression.
