"You look like lava - hot." She knew who the comment had come from and something pulled inside of her as she padded up. What was it about Callo's comment that had her annoyed? Was what she was feeling annoyance? No, annoyance was different to whatever it was. Maybe it was because Kat had thought she'd meant something when she'd been asked out on a date and seeing him flirt with this stranger struck a nerve. Slightly confused about her own feelings the cheetah shrugged away the thought as she padded over. "Welcome to the Agris - I'm Kat." The Overseer meowed politely with a smile, deciding not to comment on the wildcat's appearance.

ooh by the way hi faithless! i'm Karlie! and welcome to the agri's chat thread where we spend time eating Ronnie and pissing each other off with "tearable" puns.

As he spoke with mysteriousness lacing his voice her amber eyes narrowed for a moment, now more curious than before. But she would respect his privacy nonetheless. As he raced towards the shallows the cheetah made way to follow him, jumping a little as a drop of water hit her nose. Slightly startled as she wasn't expecting it the cheetah blinked her amber eyes looking up just in time to get a face full of water which the dingo had sent flying at her when he'd shaken his pelt. Noticing him climbing up onto the bank the cheetah had decided to follow suit when the dingo reared, more water being set off. Having been alert this time the cheetah quickly sidestepped the water with a playful raise of her eyebrows in the dingo's direction.

"Don't try me - you haven't got the advantage out here." Kat teased lightly, a grin on her maw. Leaping out of the water and onto dry land the cheetah found herself thinking something completely startling. He was cute. Trying to blink away the thought the cheetah forced it out of her mind - what was she doing? He was her friend, the person she was closest to, she shouldn't be thinking like that.

Her roleplayer silently marvelling at Prink's muse the cheetah would pad up to stand with Beauty and Ross. As Ross had the Overseer kept her mouth shut although placed a polite smile on her maw as she watched the stranger with amber luminaries. Hopefully this would be another new joiner.

While her roleplayer was screaming out of excitement that there was officially a Taylor Swift in the Agris (no, what are you talking about, she totally doesn't have 30+ Taylor related things on her bedroom walls) the cheetah had padded over having heard the groans of something small. That was when her amber eyes fell upon the body of a femme of her own species, although this cheetah was only a cub. The first thought on her mind was that the cub was hurt and needed help - unlike Beauty who seemed to have ignored that fact and gone straight to asking the questions. That was the difference between Kat and most people though - if someone were even the slight bit injured she would help them out before bombarding them with questions.

Bounding over the Overseer would pad over to stand near Pluto, her amber gaze showing concern for the younger. Noticing the blood the cheetah shook her head - injuries obviously meant she wasn't alright. "I don't think she's alright - she just collapsed and she's covered in scratches and bruises."

"Group but close enough," Kat would meow with a grin, amber eyes landing curiously on the pot for a moment but not mentioning it. "Welcome to the Agriculturalists then! I'm Kat, nice to meet you Donnel." The Overseer would add, slightly amused by this guy and his cluelessness. But oh well, he would learn over time.

edit: freaking ninja'd by swifty but oh well

A warm smile on her maw the amber eyed cheetah would nod her head at the young cheetah cub's words. Looking to join? Well that was an easy fix. "Well then, welcome to the Agriculturalists - and it's alright, one of the healers can surely patch you up. Have you a name, kiddo?" Kat would ask, tilting her head to the side while she spoke. It would help if the youngster did have a name for she didn't want to wander around calling her "kiddo" all the time. "Oh, I'm Kat by the way." She added quickly, remembering her manners.

As the dingo spoke of 'other advantages' she found herself wondering just what those 'other advantages' were. As he climbed the back to stand up above her she found her amber eyes looking up into his darker optics, eyes trailing his damp body for a moment she would smile and tilt her head to the side. Could she take a leap to reach where he stood? Yes, probably. But would she? Nope, because there was no fun in that - no, instead she would let him make the first move.

"Hit me with your best shot then." Kat meowed with an almost daring half smirk on her maw, twitching an ear as if waiting for him to move.

It was the pungent smell of blood and the yelling of Maeve which had attracted the attention of the Overseer and now she cam bounding over. Upon reaching the scene she froze for a second, her amber eyes widening at the amount of blood and the extent of the stranger's injuries. Thankful that both Winterretreat and Wolfpaw were on the scene the amber eyed feline decided to answer the question the patient's question he'd been asking. "You're in the Agriculturalists territory - you're safe here." Kat meowed gently before her amber eyes turned to the healers.

"Is there anything I can do?" The Overseer would ask, quite anxious just standing around.

As she padded over the cheetah couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for the small lemur. He was so obviously nervous as he sat there that the femme couldn't help but let a warm smile take place on her maw. If he was worried about getting rejected or hurt he really shouldn't be, nothing would injure him when the cheetah was on the scene. Being completely compassionate had it's advantages and disadvantages. She was always one of the first to help out or offer sympathy but she had no limits when it came to what she'd do for others. By golly if a blood thirsty lion were to attack the lemur, who she didn't even yet know, she'd throw herself in front of the poor bugger. A warm smile on her maw the cheetah would keep quiet as Maeve had already asked the questions, maybe not as nicely as she herself would've worded them but she'd done it all the same.

If Kat was expecting anything it definitely wasn't for Calloway to run. They both knew that a cheetah could outrun a dingo with ease and so running was the stunt she least expected from the canine. Expecting an attack of some sorts the cheetah had crouched, bunching up her muscles and tensing slightly. She was ready to spring to the side at any moment, as if just waiting for him to jump at her. As he said his move was a great shot she raised her metaphorical eyebrows for a moment as the dingo just stood there. Then it happened, in a split second the dingo was gone.

Startled at the fact that the dingo had actually decided to run the cheetah's amber eyes widened out of shock. Surprise ringing through her body the Overseer took much too long to push her unsuspecting limbs into action. In one quick leap she was upon the part of the bank where her friend had been standing just moment before. Narrowing her amber eyes she took a look around, not seeing him anywhere as he had moved fast enough to be behind the bush before she saw him.

"Oh it's on." Kat would growl playfully, deciding that she had an ace or two up her sleeve. With the words said the cheetah would then remove herself from sight, using the one power she had- invisibility. Now at least she could hunt the dingo down without him knowing the exact details of her whereabouts. Padding forwards, trying to be as quiet as a mouse, the cheetah would keep her amber eyes peeled, looking for the dingo. That was when she saw it, the spot of fur among the flowers.

A grin on her face the cheetah would creep around the bush, aiming to pop back into visibility by the side of the dingo. "Got 'ya!"

Watching the calico do a snazzy little dance and burst into song the cheetah couldn't help but grin and let out a laugh along with her. Personally Kat didn't approve of alcohol and preferred to stay well away from it, but she wasn't going to stop liking Sunstar because of the fact that she drank. Ears pricking at the leader's words a curious spark would light up in her amber eyes. A long story, eh? She would have to remember to get that story from the femme at some point. "Me? Not much, making friends, meeting people - I think we've had like fifty joiners, or it feels like it anyway." The Overseer responded, a grin accompanying her words. She liked Sunstar and she knew the Agris would definitely not be the same without her.
