[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]That was a surprise. How had she not known the scent of a bear? Though this thought weighed her down slightly she knew that, obviously, it was not something to linger on and she leaped into action immediately. While she was still growing, she was large enough to hopefully have a fighting chance against the massive creature - Especially when she wasn't fighting alone. Hastily the tigress would lunge forward, jaws snapping, to tear into the flesh of the creature's flank.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"It's nice to meet you too," she returned the expected social compliment with a smile and a nod. In truth, there was something pleasant about exchanging aliases with a stranger, but she didn't completely understand why society deemed it necessary to say it constantly. But then, her comprehension of the status quo was limited in some ways, and she went along with everything she witnessed. To the t, hopefully. "Where did you live before?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]Idly was the tigress returning to the dampness of the sewers, a limp carcass of a fawn which she had found wandering the city streets, likely having separated from it's mother just a bit too far. When she had caught it, she had understood the meaning of the expression described as a 'deer caught in headlights.' Frankly, she thought that a deer caught in a tiger's jaws was likely a more priceless expression. In any case, it had been a successful hunt, and now she was returning home, content for the moment.

Dropping it onto the kill pile ( or rather, near it, as not to smash the smaller pieces of prey ) she would eye the rest of the assembled food a bit skeptically. Her stomach growled slightly, but she had eaten earlier that morning as well, and nothing really looked particularly delectable. Maybe she would go out and hunt again later.

"What's everyone up to?" The tone which carried this inquiry was bright in nature, though this managed to be one of the admittedly few instances where her face forgot to match it. Vacantly did she scan the campground, looking for anything interesting that might be occurring.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]It had been a few days now since the ivory tigress joined the sewer dwelling clan. A few days which had gone by without error - So far so good, apart from the bear attack, anyway. It felt good living there, she felt independent, and she felt potential for prosperity. She did not yet feel happy, at least not in the traditional sense, though she was content. And that was well enough indeed for the eleven month old female, who hailed from the Dominion originally. The difference between the two groups was simple: She chose to live in the Havoc. Choices made all the difference.

On the sidewalk did the striped feline sit, head tilted to examine the starry night sky. The beauty that some seemed to find in it's patterns had never managed to make an impression on her, though she did it all the same, simply because she understood that's what others did when they thought and were out an about, alone at night. Pretending when she was alone gave her an edge that most like her didn't have, or so she liked to think. Though eventually, as time flew by, she became aware of an approaching presence and turned to see who was coming.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Hunting, anyone?"

Admittedly, Amita was more of a solo huntress, a lone assassin by nature. Hunting patrols were a bit ridiculous as there wasn't much more a group could do than many individuals couldn't. It bewildered her even more so to be making such a suggestion, given that it wasn't something expected of her. Boredom was getting to her, maybe. Maybe she wanted another opportunity to get to know her new clan mates. Though, she couldn't say for sure, naturally. Getting ready to evacuate the sewer did she holler this, shifting her weight slightly as she waited for any takers.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]Dawn was breaking, indicating the start of another day in her new home. With each passing sunrise, though, the term "new home" could be applied less and less. That was fine with her, as for some reason describing it as such made her a bit uncomfortable. Not massively, but a prickle touched her paw pads, just vague enough for her to recognize - She didn't like being new, seniority being something she longed for. This wasn't too unusual, she knew. After all, nobody aspired to be a rookie.

Still, new she was, even if a bit less so than she had been the night before. Yawning quietly she would make her way out of her claimed sleeping quarters, looking about quietly to see if anyone else was up.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Patrol?" The feline would suggest as she idly lingered near the sewer's entrance, wanting more than anything to just get some fresh air. Rather new, she wasn't even entirely sure if she was supposed to be assembling a patrol, but in the moment she didn't mind too much. What's the worst that could happen? And, anyway, everyone got scolded at least sometimes. It was normal to be imperfect.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Glad you're still in good shape," she said in response to Northyface's assurance of her in tact health, her features lit up in what appeared to be a friendly grin. It had been a pretty impressive show-down, and she recognized easily that her getting out of it with just minor scrapes indicated to her being a pretty good fighter.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]Giving the familiar looking hyena a nod, she would silently consider the concept of early risers and late risers. There was a certain stigma attached to oversleeping, she knew, which was a reason as to why she didn't do it. High, flying adored, that's where she needed to be. Being labeled lazy wouldn't help her, nor her agenda, in the slightest. "Morning, then," she would say in a friendly tone, tail tip twitching as she cast a glance towards the deer carcass at the compliment. It wasn't her best catch, though she knew saying that could have unfortunate repercussions. "Thanks, food is food though. What do you plan on doing today?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Probably something of the same," responded the tigress with a slight shrug, a contemplative expression resting upon her features. Maybe she would also explore the territory a bit more, accustom herself further with the lay of the land. Though, she was fairly sure that there wasn't much more to learn, apart from a few more illusive nooks and crannies. "I might look around some more, too," she tacked on, even though there was no real need to.

Briefly recalling the deer/wolf slaughter from a day or two prior, she would give the hyena a courteous nod of acknowledgement. "You seem to be a pretty good hunter."

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Hm," she thought aloud as she shifted on the sidewalk she had settled on to examine Northyface. Recreational racing wasn't on the top of her to do list by any means, though she didn't hate the idea. It was just a bit. . . Unnecessary. But her life seemed to be built on doing things that she didn't necessarily see the point in doing - she was such a product - so she made her way over all the same. "Sure thing." A smile gracing her features made it so she didn't have to lie in her response; there was no need for her to tell her, sounds fun, when her smile said it for her.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"You're not going to kill him?" Amita asked, immediately internally wincing at the monotonous bluntness of her tone. Shaking that off, she would advance further, padding over from the building which she had just evacuated to flank the other citizen. Her gaze fixated on the space of forest which the human had vanished into, eyes narrowed as she wondered what the point was in scaring him but letting him go.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Fishing sounds good," the feline would comment as she joined the duo at the river's edge, taking care to leave enough space between them and her to avoid cramping anyone; mostly herself. It was a meter or so of Ivylights; opposite side of her than Vinnie had fallen into stance. Eyeing the rippling water the striped wildcat would blink, examining it's depths for the water dwelling play as she pondered to herself if she genuinely enjoyed the act of fishing. Maybe.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"You're welcome to," she said, having watched the advancing queen with trace curiosity to her gaze. It was not her presence that intrigued her, but what she had been doing before she agreed to come along. Reading. It was an interesting hobby. Some animals from the Dominion had indulged in such a thing, though she had never gotten into it herself. It was hard finding things which she found more than superficial pleasure in, truthfully. "What were you reading?" Asked the feline as she turned herself around, leading the way into the city streets.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]Looking towards Ikki rather skeptically she would give the servaline tom a nod of acknowledgement, though opting not to respond to his compliment directly, instead offering him a, "Morning." And smile, she reminded herself, so she did. "I'm doing good, Ivylights, how are you?" The tigress would respond next to the deputy, bearing now an expression which she hoped resembled interest.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"I could," the tigress offered as she stepped forward, nodding a greeting to Ikki before then looking towards Northyface. Now, she wasn't that much experienced when it came to fighting, though she had completed basic training and such she was no Bruce Lee. Practicing in a spar could be useful, and though she recognized there was a bit of a size difference she had actually seen the hyena fight and didn't think there would be too much of a power imbalance.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"We're not inherently your enemies, are we?" Amita would ask as she ventured towards the foreign duo, perhaps contemplating the nature of the adjective more to herself than anyone, though still the question was directed towards them. Once she were of decent proximity to the two brothers, she would examine them a bit skeptically, wondering what way of handling the situation would be deemed most appropriate. Would playing the mild mannered diplomat be the best choice? Or would be it being a fierce defender of her home? The tigress had no impulse either way, though she rarely did, and nearly every choice she made was made with the consideration of how others would react to it. Ultimately, the ivory wildcat settled on the first option, "You're on the Havoc's territory; Is there anything I can help you two with?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]Amita was out on her own presently, merely wandering the city streets with no real destination in mind. It was around noon, though you wouldn't guess it by examining the scene; the sky was overcast, a light drizzle even occasionally falling onto the earth. The tigress didn't mind walks in the rain, though she didn't enjoy them either. Her likes and her dislikes were a foreign concept to her, and often she doubted that she was even capable of having them. But she did manage to find a certain amount of peacefulness on her walks, finding contentment in the way her thoughts slowly began to dwindle away, where all needed to focus on was putting one foot in front of the other.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"What are you doing?"

Amita would ask as she stumbled upon the servaline male, busy working in construction under the small structure above them. Initially her plan was just to get a drink, apparently slightly unaware of her surroundings she had not heard or scented Ikki ( or anyone ) nearby, and was rather surprised by his presence there. Cocking her head slightly she would examine the work-in-progress creation, wondering what he was up to.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][size=8]"Welcome aboard," she would say in a friendly manner, offering the pair her best smile. A warm one, hopefully. The queen was new herself to the clan, though her ability to label herself as such was fading as the days went by. Regardless, this was how the matter of joining seemed to be handled - With not much to it, with everyone accepted into their ranks. Though she would shift to examine the servaline male beside her, hoping Ikki would speak up if she was out of line. "What are your names?" Asked the tigress next as she looked back to the brothers, the introductions already made having somehow gone over her head unnoticed. "I'm Amita."
