She was laying on the ground, still losing blood. Her gaping wound covered up a little, but not by much. She was waiting for SilentStep and WebPaw. She wanted to tell WebPaw she loved him before she died.

WishTail yawned heavily. The young she-cat was very tired, she wanted a place to rest. She used the last of her strength, and looked out into the woods. She lay her head down on the smooth and sturdy bark. Easily, she feel asleep. She was a light sleeper, so when she heard something, she woke up. This time it was an owl hooting. She was annoyed, and hissed lowly. She feel back asleep, rowing her feet in mid-air.
