Phoenix blinked,"This is my first year too."

Phoenix smiled and walked into the store. She then began looking around. A certain pet caught her eye, and she headed towards it.

Phoenix stared at the creature. It was locked in a large cage with chains on it. The sign above it said that it would never grow past the size it was, but it was still fully capable of killing a full grown man. She picked up the cage and walked over to the counter,"How much is this?" He stared at her then laughed,"Little missy, don't take this the wrong way, but you couldn't handle a creature like that." She tilted her head then placed a finger in the cage, making the man gasp. The creature walked over and sniffed her finger. It then licked her. The man stared at her with large eyes,"You're crazy..." He muttered, then blinked,"Three gallons." Phoenix winced at the amount, but nonetheless pulled out four gallons. Her father had made sure she had enough for everything, and a pet was the last thing she needed. She gave him the three gallons, then looked through the bars,"I'll name you Ryūketsu." She smiled then bounded over to Xandy and George, holding up the cage,"Meet Ryūketsu. Isn't she just adorable?"

Also, I know that Ryūketsu is not allowed in Hogwarts, but, what's gonna stop Phoenix from trying?

Phoenix held the cage close and muttered under her breath,"Prof. Potter can't get mad if he never sees her..." She then glanced up and watched him race off. She smiled and placed her money back in her purse. She then peered inside. It was once of those bottomless bags, and she had fit almost everything in here. She then placed in Ryūketsu and smiled,"Don't worry little one. I won't let you be taken away."

Phoenix blinked and watched them walk off. She then looked through her bag again. Once she was satisfied that she had everything, she walked back into the pet store,"Do you by any chance have some meat?" The man simply stared at her,"Sorry, we don't carry food." Phoenix narrowed her eyes then turned and walked out of the store.

Phoenix yawned and waited for George and Xandra to return.

Phoenix smiled and waved,"Hey!"

Phoenix blinked and glanced at him,"How much do you need?"

Phoenix blinked in surprise as Prof. Potter gave George two gallons. She held her bag close, hoping he didn't know of Ryūketsu. She then glanced at Xandra.

Phoenix's eyes widened as George tripped. She then raced over.

Phoenix blinked,"It's okay George, I have a gallon you can have if you want."

Phoenix sighed as she got onto the train just before it started. She walk down, looking for Xandra.

Phoenix finally made it to the cart the others were in. She smiled, then looked over her shoulder to see Raven. She smiled and waved to her slightly.

Phoenix smiled as she sat down. She stayed quiet though, feeling a bit out of place.

Phoenix blinked then smiled. She pulled out a pair of rubber gloves from her purse, then picked up the spider. She then reached back in and pulled out her pet. The spider was then fed to Ryūketsu.
