Calliope padded closer to the castle with increasing anxiety. Would she be accepted? Or would she be deemed too weak, to fragile to join any group. Forced to live life alone. Like he had always said. But never mind him. This was a fresh start. She could do this.
But anxiety was still clouding her mind when she reached the clearly marked borderline. Callie steeled herself, standing as tall as possible before saying in a not-as-confident-as-she-had-hoped tone; "Uh.. Joiner?" It came out as more of a question. Ridiculing herself for making such a weak first impression, the femme tried again, British accent coming through slightly as she said the phrase louder. "Excuse me, but I am a Joiner who would like to be accepted into this clan... If that's possible...thankyou." At least she had started strong.
