She thought about her chances of survival. "Fine. I'll tell you all the information you need. And, for your information, it was kind of my instinct to yell for help. So excusssseeeee me!" She paused before speaking again. "My name is Crystal, and I was just looking for a meal, I haven't had one in days." She sheathed her claws.

Crystal padded ahead of the bigger tom-cat. She knew he thought she was tiny, in fact, Father had pretty much taken her out of his life because of it. 'Runt.' He would say. Mother always praised her for things that her brothers and sisters had done moons before.
She would never grow as big, but she was young. But she held onto something no other kit should. Mother's death. She was showing Crystal the Road, saying it was dangerous to go onto it. But she had disobeyed. She ran onto the Road as a Car was coming. Mother ran onto it after her.
The Car was near, and Mother kept running after Crystal. Mother grabbed her by the scruff and threw her violently out of the way. The Car trampled over Mother, unleashed a loud screech from Crystal. Father turned a corner and saw Mother's body.
'You stupid kit! You stupid dumb runt kit!' He said. He snarled at her. Crystal started to run across the Road, but Father hissed at her. 'No! Stay there. You're never welcome into the House again!' Crystal backed away. She felt like Father had just ripped off her fur in one scratch.
Father ran off. Crystal noticed Mother's gemstone collar around her neck, the oval shaped Gem hanging on the silver chain loosely. Crystal walked to Mother's body and took it off. She shook off her ribbon, and slipped Mother's over her neck.
Crystal stood there, in the Leafbare cold. Her small body couldn't take much more snowy wind. She collapsed then and there, in the snow. She could almost feel the Car running over her body. Over and over... "Mother..." She whimpered out as the pain of the Car kept coming.

Crystal got up. She noticed the tom still behind her. She decided to run, run as far as her paws could take her. So she did. She took off at a fast speed. Her fur was being blown back by the snowy breeze, which wobbled her balance. Her paws started to make lopsided turns. She forced them to turn back, running straight ahead. She ran straight for a river. Crystal didn't even notice when she ran over it without a drop of water on her paws. She looked back. The river was being covered in a blue frost! Crystal still ran, her paws making small areas of frost as she ran. A sharp rock got under her paws, making her trip. She summersaulted through the snow. Crystal landed with her tail over her head and a sharp pain in her front paw. Icy blue liquid spread through the snow. Crystal looked at her paw, seeing it seep from it. She shook it off and padded on, not trying to go so fast. The wound on her paw burnt like fire as she walked. 'I can take it.' She thought to herself. Crystal walked on, suddenly noticing a sharp smell of blood. She looked around. Nothing. Just white snow. Crystal walked on, suddenly feeling a liquid on her other paw. She lifted it up, seeing dripping, white liquid. 'Is this... Blood?' She sniffed it. It was for sure blood. Whose though? Cats don't have white blood! She noticed shreds of fur beside it. 'There must have been a fight here.' She thought. She took a deep sniff from the fur, then continued to run. 'That must mean there is somebody else like me!' She suddenly thought. She wouldn't be alone! The excitement cause more frost to form. 'Oh no...' It froze the blood, and the fur below. She suddenly realized something. "They can follow my tracks!" She felt rushed, to run so far they couldn't follow her. Scrambling up the nearest tree, she tried not to freeze it. She stood on the top branch, making it wobble under her weight. Sure enough, the frost followed, freezing every last inch of the branch.
